He genuinely cares and spends time with his patients. You do not feel like just a number or that you are being rushed through an appointment. He is also absolutely hysterical, and even on a really bad day, he makes me laugh my a** off!! Also, I had an issue with my eyedrops and he helped me investigate it, above and beyond what any other doctor would ever do - honestly, this guy is amazing. SO - although you can wait a lifetime or more to actually receive your shots - the waiting room is always bursting at the seams with people, and sometimes I have had to leave and come back another day which drives me absolutely nuts (who has time to wait over an hour for shots and then another half hour after the shots which is required by this office?!?!) this is insane, especially when you work; it can be very difficult to find the time and I have not found the "magic time" to get my shots - when the wait is not at least a half an hour. With all of this being said, I have been tolerant of the waiting and waiting and waiting because Dr. Sher is just so darn good!!

This is a rare character trait in a doctor nowadays. She remembers the smallest antidote from your last visit that may have relevance to your current discussion. This really impressed me. It shows she really listens. Southwest Family Physicians has a great website. If you are a patient there is a "Patient Protal" where you can even email your doctor. I actually used this service and got an immediate reply from the doctor's office. The doctor was out of the office on vacation but I still was contacted back by her. Amazing, a doctor calling me back while she was on vacation. I never heard of that before. If you can't get an appointment to see your own physician on the day you call, you are always given the option to see one of the other doctors. WOW, what a novel idea, getting seen when you are sick, not weeks later. Also, through the "Patient Portal" you have access to your current chart, list of medications, past appointments, your medical history and your general account information. All great stuff to have on hand. Their website also has a blog that posts information on current health topics. All in all I am so glad to have found Dr. Biglow. She is a godsend. I have not gone to any other doctor in the practice, but I understand they are all very accommodating and have great personalities. I highly recommend Dr. Biglow at Sourthwest Family Physicians.

The Village of Healing Center is the first and only clinic for Black women in Cuyahoga County. They have services for pediatrics, mental health and gynecology and obstetrics. They also have primary care services. They cater to the black woman holistically. I am so glad I finally called and made an appointment. I was nervous at first as I prepared to switch doctors, and hoped I made the right decision. All that concern left once I entered. The young lady who welcomed was so kind and genuine and she said she was so glad I came. She knew I was a first timer and explained the process to me. The artwork is beautiful and every exam room is named for a different medical pioneer of color. It was cool to read the different stories. My provider was so dope! She was patient, kind and so understanding. She was encouraging and a great listener. I already made another appointment, and I am actually looking forward to returning.

Dr Pesick-Caine is so nice and works well with our son. She tries to make things fun for him even though it's tough for babies at his age to understand what's going on! The front desk is as friendly as you'd expect - nothing impressive and they usually don't crack a smile but I can't hold that against this office because I've experienced this at every office in NE Ohio. We also saw Dr Robinson once in Dr Pesicks absence and she was very nice as well. Since merging with Cleveland Clinic I haven't noticed any real big differences except they now require more paperwork.
