I choose Eudy Door off a recommendation from a friend. My garage door opener suddenly stopped working on Thursday. I pressed the button and nothing happened. Thankfully I was home. When I pressed the button there wasn't any sound. The light on the door opener button was very faint and blinking. I called Friday afternoon and explained what was happening and was told it was probably a circuit board and that would by around $300 and it won't be warranted. For a little more I could get a new garage door opener. I priced them at Lowes and considered doing it myself. When we first moved into our old house we installed it with a friend. Then I reconsidered and sticking to our budget we could get it installed for twice the price of the opener in a box at Lowes. So for only $635 we had a new opener installed including taxes and they took the old one away and disposed of it. I scheduled to have them come out the next working day, Monday. Our appointment was between 10-Noon and I was told it would be closer to 11. At 11am I got a call that said they were on their way in 30 minutes. At 11:30am as predicted Eric showed up. He was very professional. He said it would take about an hour and a half to install and he was done in that time. We now have a new garage door opener , 2 clickers, a wall mount with a lock switch and the ability to open and close the door with an app on our phones. Jazz was my tech and he is so dedicated to doing a good job. I had a spring break on an old set up. Turns out those are pretty rare. While easy to fix in theory, it wasnt so easy in execution thanks to a very heavy door. I contacted "Michael" today as I had a problem-door was not responding to car or hand held remotes. Our unit was more than 20 years old, and they warned me that parts might not be available. 02/15/2018 I called on a Sunday to make an appointment with Eudy Door Company because my garage door was making a popping noise as it was lowered. They were closed but I left a voice message to call me back. At 8AM Monday I received a call back to assess my problem. Now that is quick service! I explained the problem and he set me up with an appointment that worked around my schedule. So, I scheduled it for Friday Feb 15. (10AM-12Noon). Today, Friday I received a call from the technician at 9:30AM to confirm he was on the way! Sure enough, at 10AM, the tech named Robert was at my door. Right on time. He diagnosed the problem after checking out the door. It is 25 years old and it needed a 16' strut (or I'd call it a brace) to go horizontally across the inside bottom panels. Robert had all the parts, fixed the problem. Lubed all the moving hinges and rollers. Demonstrated to me that it was 100% back to normal. Again, I'm impressed with this company and it's excellent employees; who have good customer service skills. I base this on their continued communication (phone calls to me) and being prepared when showing up; with all the tools and parts to complete the job. Rudy door installed the garage door when garage was built many years ago. A couple years ago they came out when the spring broke with no problem. When I called this past week when opener did not work from Wall or remotes, we discussed the age, likely past it's prime, suggested new install- I said great- they fit me in the next day. I couldn't be here, and left access open for technician and told owner. New unit was installed with an extension cord to a different plug and no light bulb. I called to give my credit card to pay and asked about both. I was told, there was no power in outlet above unit to which I asked, how do I know the old unit didn't work? Immediately . The conversation got very rude and disrespectful. I was told that I requested a new unit, not a service call and that I was told, to check the outlet (which I was not) I was told that it had exceeded its life expectancy and so I said yes, replace. I was told "we can come reinstall the old one and be good" I simply said I was as busy as you, and was just trying to understand the "unusual" install and thought I should be able to ask a question. Today I had my handyman come over to fix the outlet so it could be plugged In Correctly. He plugged it in and it worked fine. We also tried 3 different light bulbs, none worked. I called company and we were both treated disrespectfully. My guy told him he had a power checker in the light socket and their was no juice. We were told how many times he (Eudy) has gone out and installed a bulb that worked fine. He also told us "a new unit doesn't come with a bulb" yet they took the bulb that was in my old unit? He also Told us to only use an appliance bulb but never gave me that direction, nor did the manual say anything about light bulbs and when we looked it up on liftmaster website, it said use a regular bulb? Anyway, I totally get things happen, but don't ever treat people disrespectfully. I will not be back. read more

We had two garage doors installed by some incompetent guy and we suffered for 11 mons with a super noisy door that would intermittenly open by itself after closing. My garage door spring broke at night. I called Eudy Door first thing the next morning. I spoke with Michael in the office. He said he had a tech in my area going to another job already. He said he would change the order of his stops because the next two he had after that were for property managers and could be done later in the day.
