First time flying in and out of this airport and I have to say that this is probably my favorite airport. Love the easy access and how clean and well maintained it is. Looking forward to making more trips to this airport.

Small regional airport that is quaint and yet gets the job done. Easy through TSA and no long walk to the gate. Car rental is a little tough because I think they have more action then they plan for but that's not on them... you listening National? Small restaurant inside quick to bag claim, easy peasy

This is my hometown airport, and I don't think it's too bad for a small one. Even though there are only 3-4 gates, it's still the fifth largest airport in the Pacific Northwest. One thing I do wish is that they had a check-in kiosk for United Airlines here. There's one for Delta and maybe American, but United is conspicuously absent. So even though I checked in online, l still had to wait in line behind everyone who didn't. There aren't a lot of services at this airport given the size. It's got a restaurant downstairs and a snack bar sort of thing upstairs, plus a gift shop. When I was a child and you could accompany travelers to the gate, I used to love the flying people art installation (I think I even remember seeing someone we knew). I still like that but my favorite thing are the human-sized ducks places throughout the airport. My affinity for ducks may not be a surprise given I am a born and bred Eugenean! Parking isn't bad here; the lot always has lots of spaces and the price isn't bad. I've rarely had many problems here, and even when a flight was running a bit late I wasn't too bent out of shape because it's pretty quiet. The history of the place is interesting (in my opinion, anyway). It's called Mahlon Sweet Field for a local early 20th century businessman/aviation enthusiast. (He also was instrumental in the creation of the Eugene Air Park, built about 25 years prior to the airport, and located where the Bi-Mart is on 18th & Chambers). The current airfield was used by the army in World War II. Though it largely provides regional service to portland, Seattle, Las Vegas, and San Francisco, there are other locations served in Southern California, Colorado, Arizona, and so on. I'm thankful they started O'Hare-Eugene service several years ago and will resume next month, because that makes my trip home from Chicago a much more enjoyable trip.

Luggage claim that stopped a minute into dropping bags off

No issues with the Eugene airport typically. My main gripe with it is the baggage claim is always terribly slow. I hate waiting for it and I highly recommend you pack light when coming to the Eugene airport. Pros: - small airport = quick to get through security and to your gate - fun free poem printing station inside - plenty of space to get through, never feels cramped - lots of seating, even some new chairs by the baggage claim to help ease the long waiting times Cons: - Always have issues with the baggage claim. It takes forever every single time

Hands down one of the cutest and most navigable airports in the country! I've been using the Eugene airport for nearly 25 years and it always warms my heart. The grounds are immaculate, the facilities are always clean, the food (once through security) is great, parking has always been pretty easy, and the staff are always friendly. It's impossible to get disoriented or lost here and check in is always smooth sailing. I love my local airport!

Such a great airport with lovely TSA agents. I brought my homemade biscotti to bring to Colorado and they let me bring it through even though they said they don't usually allow it. I gave them some of the extras for their break room due to their kindness. They can get a little handsy if you need a pat down but I don't mind it. If you do, I recommend ironing your underwear cause the machine can get set off from the wrinkles. Overall amazing place, dying to come back!! PS: the wings at Willamettes Grill are great! But I dropped mine

It's a small, relatively quiet airport but still get there two hours before because they do have lines on occasion. There is a perfectly adequate bar/restaurant that is on both sides of security for your convenience. Everyone there is always happy to stop and help you. In addition, due to the University of Oregon "Go Ducks!" there are some awesome life size "Ducks" throughout the airport for appropriate ambiance. Also appreciated the layout of baggage claim and the rental car process both inside and out of the airport. Have never regretted using this airport!

Lucky to have this airport vs Portland. Super small but easy in and out. Very limited food options so bring your own.

What is the cost for long term parking?

There's also Economy parking, a further lot, still walkable, at $10 per day. See the airport website more additional info.

I thought about renting an SUV or something more like a regular vehicle, but I wanted something that would stand out. Sunshine certainly delivered and with the exception of a couple minor items of note, then knocked it out of the park. I've never rented a limo before, so after looking over their website, I gave them a call for more information. The woman I spoke to was very polite and helpful even though I wasn't ready to book that day and needed an idea of the costs and features. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions (although I forgot to ask a couple). I needed a limo for 3 hours. It came to $381. The limo was $100/hr, but the tip for the driver is built into the price quote and based on where you are driving, gas and such is added in, too. I ended up selecting the 10 person limo for 3 people so there would be plenty of room. The limos come with glasses, water, and I believe some soda (I didn't get into the limo, but I did watch a FB livestream of them inside, so I got to see what it looked like). There was more than enough room for 3 people, but 10 would be VERY close together, in my opinion. The driver (his name was Chris) was on time and called me as he was leaving the limo business so I had a heads up to get everyone ready. He patiently waited outside, wore a nice suit, and was very professional. He was helpful on the phone when I spoke to him the day before about the plan and thanks to the livestream I saw he was polite and professional while performing his work. The limo looked clean inside and out and I was able to see the people I sent on adventures had a good time in the limo. The driver stayed close by and was ready to get them the second they popped their heads out to be taken to their next destination. The only very minor things I would say was that I forgot a couple questions after I initially called and I endes up emailing the company via their website rather than call back. I did not get a reply. Definitely call if you have questions. You will get them answered. Beyond that, I had to call the day before the event so talk to the driver -- I was told he was going to call me, but by 5pm I wasn't sure, so I called so I could get in touch with him. Beyond that, the experience was excellent! I would absolutely use Sunshine again the next time I need a limo in the Eugene area!

I stumbled upon the lights tour and talked to someone who was very helpful with information, costs, and options. Communication with the company was great from the time I made the reservation until we were picked up. Ian was our fantastic driver who picked us up on time and with chocolates . We started on the west side of Eugene in the hills, to the east, and then dropped off at the restaurant where we had dinner reservations. Ian made several stops to take pics of us and drove thru many neighborhoods with beautiful displays. We loved talking to him and hope he enjoys his upcoming Wyoming trip! The limo was clean, stocked with water, drink, and decorated with Christmas garland. We were able to play our own music (sorry about the Richard Cheese songs!)
