I read couple of comments that been posted by previous reviewers and want to clarify some of them. I am guy 5'8 and 300 lb. very far from been super model. :-) That's part of my requirement for custom closing due to a point that none of the stores offer me anything that can feet me right. And yes, I been pointed that in some problematic arias where I usually have store closing he have to become more creative not to offend anyone. Some people forgetting in US about simple language barrier. :-) And for second reviewer I also want to point something. We all going to a doctors and getting advises. And most of us not getting offended by that, I am accepting advice from Eugene is not as point of offence but like doctor advice, if I want to look good, I need to trust someone... and if I am in his Tailor shop ... I guess I should trust him... Lastly, about pricing...... well all of us want/like to get stuff cheap or free... and there is always kmart and walmart available for most concerned people, but if I want good quality stuff, pricing formula is very easy: calculate how much you earn * on amount of hours to do work * on convenience of shop in your aria with cheap affordable property rent + couple dollars for owner profit and you will get there. I will give you example of my experience shopping on Land Rover dealer. One of the guys while I was purchasing my new car walking and asked how much is the most expensive Range Rover cost. After getting price he sad why is this car so expensive if it's required premium gas and it's only can do 13 miles per gallon. Answer from sales person was priceless. :-) He sad that people who concern about price on gas probably shouldn't shop for Range Rover. And pointed that Kia dealer is around the corner. read more

My career requires me to be presentable and I need a qualified tailor to do so. Because of this I have been a loyal customer of Eugene for years. Eugene does amazing work and I've been to a lot of tailors in the Philadelphia area. I've purchased many suits from Eugene and have had a few alterations also. DISCLAIMER: Forced to give them a star otherwise it would of been negative!!! I have to say it's appalling to see a business owner behave in such an unprofessional manner. Not everyone is built like a 5'10 110lb supermodel and to make a woman feel so undesirable and to call her "fat" is unacceptable. I'm getting married this month and wearing a kilt. The kilt and its accompanying jacket & vest were ordered from Scotland. When they finally arrived the kilt fit well, but the jacket and vest were completely wrong. I took them to Eugene and he did an amazing job with them. He is an absolute artist. I also had him make me a tuxedo-style shirt to wear with my kilt, and it is probably the best fitting shirt I've ever owned. As far as tailors go, Eugene is hands down the best. One amazing quality is his work-ethic. This combined with his immense talent makes for one incredible piece of clothing. Impeccable service. Recently lost weight and needed my size 2 down to a 0. I have a 24 inch waist and its often difficult to "shape" it properly, especially when my hips are comparably large (hourglass). The owner was polite, kind, and quick with his service.
