My 14 year old daughter wanted to get a Biolage treatment at this establishment. They requested she come in for a "consultation". They sat her in the chair for under 30 seconds and said "ok" but, there is an $80 deposit. I went in, gave them the $80 deposit for a $250 treatment, made an appointment, got a receipt and left. I called and left a voicemail the day before her appointment to cancel. Never received a call back. We are now requesting a refund for the $80 deposit and being denied being told there is a 48 hour notice for cancellations. Nowhere on the receipt or in plain viewing is there any notice of a 48 cancellation notice. My wife called to see if maybe they could apply the $80 for a simple haircut for my daughter, they said no. To think they won't refund us is unfathomable. read more

Euphoria Salon is one of the best salons in Dutchess County! I have been to many salons in the area, and Euphoria Salon does it right! The staff is welcoming and talented. Sam is my stylist; while she was on maternity leave, I went to other stylists and they were all great! They took necessary measures during the pandemic, which made me feel safe and comfortable while getting my hair done. The salon is clean and is well-stocked with Aveda products. Very unprofessional. I was advised by the staff to book my.next appt, which was 8-10 weeks away and was told that it was no big deal if I had to change it at that time. I called to reschedule my appt and was told they would not book and appt for me anymore and that I had to call and see if there was an appt available the day I wanted to come in. I never went back and I never will. There are many other good salons in the area, so why put up with being treated like that. read more

I've been to this salon a few times and my mom goes here frequently, and up until recently we've both only had good experiences. I had an appointment with a stylist I've seen before for a cut and balayage. The morning of the appointment, I got a call that the stylist was out sick and I was asked if I'd like to reschedule. I rescheduled for the same day with a stylist I'd never been to before, but trusted would be great (I was also very appreciative that she could fit me in so last minute). While she's doing the balayage, I notice she's not using foils, and every other stylist I've ever gotten a balayage from puts my full head in foils. So I simply mention this difference because I was confused. The stylist looks at me like I'm an idiot and then very obviously whispers something rude to the stylist right next to us. Then they both laughed before my stylist "explained" her method to me like I was stupid. It made me feel extremely disrespected and uncomfortable. She also cut my hair way shorter than I asked for and didn't bleach/tone my balayage enough to match my ends. The top of my head is super bronze/warm while my ends (from my last balayage) are very cool and ashy (what I wanted). I'll have to get it fixed at another salon. I still gave a 20% tip because I'm a nice person... but I will not be going back (at least not to that particular stylist). read more

This salon is great! A friend recommended her stylist to me, so I thought I would try it out. It is worth the hour+ drive down! I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I was greeted as I entered. Literally every barber are old a*s ladies. They probably don't even understand what a Fade is. Fucked up my hair so bad that I'm crying knowing I'm gonna be made fun of in School. Don't go here, especially if you're a student. The barbers are so f*cking slow they could examine a picture for one whole f*cking day, their old d*mb f*ckers would decide to go for a bowl cut. Wouldn't recommend. I have been going to that salon for years, prior to Lisa becoming an owner and I always saw Lisa. I don't get my haircut every 6 weeks, I try to do every 3-4 months but sometimes I get it done every 6 months. I made an appt for after covid for a haircut and color. Lisa told me that since I am not a "dedicated" client, followed by "no offense" she couldn't schedule me for color and cut in the same day. She did say I could come back the following week for color. When I called to confirm she told me she couldn't hold the coloring appt because she had other regular clients that she needed to fit in. What a slap in the face. Disgusted. read more

I've been going here for 13 years and LOVE IT! All the stylists are fantastic, keep up to date on latest trends and products, attend conferences in NYC to keep up. They have new sinks which are easier on the neck when getting your hair washed. Color and cut is always perfect. They message your head and hands and provide a warm towel (included). Everyone is very friendly, easy going and down to earth. Prices are competitive and well worth the service you get. I would recommend to everyone, men, women and children. As an artist I can tell she definitely has mastered color and understands color theory beyond any hair dresser I have ever seen or had. I was a regular client for the 18 months after I moved to the area. I made an appointment months in advance to have my color updated/freshened for my wedding. The appointment was CONFIRMED via their text message system the day before the appointment. When I arrived I was told that my stylist no longer worked there and they had forgotten to tell me. This was for a $200+ appointment. They offered no workable solution. I found myself scrambling to find a new salon to book a multi-hour appointment at the last minute. They gave me the number for the stylist's (who also did not make sure all her clients were called) new salon. Extremely disappointing and aggravating. Thanks to my friends I was able to find a new stylist at a new salon that could accommodate me without me taking several hours off of work (which would have been my only option if I stayed at the salon or with the stylist).
