I needed my eyebrows done so I decided why not try European wax center. It's professionals, right? The lady at the front desk kindly signed me up and said since I'm new my service would be complimentary. At that point, I should've ran. Nicolette, the lady who did my eyebrows, asked me where I usually go and I said nail salons. She warned against it! "They don't know what they're doing." Yet, one of my eyebrows is absolutely thin, with hairs sticking out and the other is uneven. I asked for a cleaning! I have naturally thick beautiful brows and ended up paying.... by making a huge mistake! I told the front desk I was unhappy, and they brought out another employee to "fix it." I said no thank you, the damage is done! The brows will grow back within a few months, sure, but I will never return to European wax center. I have also told my relatives and friends to stay away. Absolutely disappointing, do yourself a favor and RUN when they offer complimentary service! You end up paying the price! read more

Very deceptive organization. They have a large chauk board standing sign by the front doors that say" First wax free *" "Yes, we're sure" So I made an appointment. On my way out they asked me to pay for the service. I told her that the sign said the first wax was free. She said no. That's only for certain specific waxes. I said but the sign doesn't say that . She said yes at the very bottom. For me to read the small print on the very bottom of that chalkboard would be equivalent to getting on my hands and knees with a magnifying glass. I told her that was deceptive. She responded when I make my next appointment, they will throw in one of the areas of the body that's free with a service that I pay for. That is quite different from the sign. I will never give them my business again. I don't like dishonesty. read more

I hate to write a bad review however I have to since this is the second time this has happened. I always go to EWC for Brazilians and brows. Today I got my eyebrows done after growing them out for three months. When I left I noticed the waxer had cut off the ends of my eyebrows making them super short. This is not a waxer I usually go to but I figure when your paying over $20 for an eyebrow wax that they would know better than to cut off the ends of your brows. This has happened on one other occasion where a chunk of one eyebrow was taken out (again not by my regular waxer). read more

One thing that I like with EWC is that they work very fast. Waxing can be a painful experience, so when a specialist is working swiftly it makes the whole experience slightly more bearable. This location is very nice and clean. The staff and wax specialists are always friendly and accommodating. They are also very personable which adds comfort. I have visited this location many times and have had a different wax specialist for each visit. I would recommend this place to someone. The only suggestion that I have would be to give clients more privacy if the client needs to disrobe. read more

It's been a little over a year since I started going to EWC and I had my 1st Brazilian with Melissa. She is so easy and comfortable. Very personable, professional, thorough and informative. I mistakenly went to another person on one of my visits. bc my schedule didn't work to fit Melissa's availability....the other woman did just fine but it wasn't the same. I rather wait and schedule with Melissa. She's my go to every time. This was my first experience getting a Brazilian and it wasn't the best. First off I had Stephanie nice girl I think but she didn't talk at all during my appointment or explain anything. Wasn't personable with such a personal thing happening. Now for the actually work at first glance everything looks fine but really taking a good look she left hair behind when I thought a Brazilian was supposed to remove everything and beside her leaving hair behind she also left wax, so now I'm home pulling wax off kinda painfully. I was so excited about this but that kinda ruined my experience and I'm a little upset that I'll have to go get this fixed and pay more for something that should've been done right the first time. I've been getting Brazilians since I was 17 and never had an issue before today. This was my second time getting waxed here. The first time was fine, this time not at all. The woman waxing me left five (I'm not even kidding) stray hairs on my bikini line because it was "considered the thigh area and would be an extra charge." I'm going to attach a photo because I can not believe how cheap a company has to be to leave five hairs because it's out of "the two finger zone". I was absolutely disgusted. When I stated I wouldn't be returning and I explained why and they offered no help. This was after their computers weren't working, I had to wait ten minutes to check in because the staff was chatting about schedules, and then this. I had some time before work and decide to check out this place, I'd never heard or or seen before. I even told them that I usually get my eyebrows threaded but it's hard to find places these days (corona virus!) and when I used to get them waxed my eyebrows didn't even look like distant cousins let alone looked like they belonged in the same face! So I've been getting great results threading for years. But I figured since they charged a lot for waxing and it looked like more of a fancy place I'd try waxing again! Their first wax is free, which is cool. But here's where I had a problem... if she put wax under my eyebrows once she did it at least 7x...each!!!Directly above my eyelids, below my orbital bones are RAW and still red! It's been 24 hours almost to the minute! If I squint my eyes or close them tight, they hurt... if I touch them, they hurt! She even said "oh no" at one point and had gotten quite a bit of wax in my hair near my temple and said "it was the second time this week"! With how many times she pulled wax off me there was still hairs I had to tell her about and suggested tweezing but she put more wax on. She even said she couldn't see the hairs I was talking about "with her shield on". (In my head I'm thinking... you couldn't see this whole time? Eyebrow hairs are small, get ya some glasses, girl) I'm not saying don't go there, just that the space between my eyelids and eyebrows hurt a lot. I'm saying make sure they don't re-wax the same spot 40x and also don't let them bring the wax so far down, I didn't have hair that far down to almost my eyelid. read more

This place seems to be a real mixed bag. I can be difficult to wax, I have sensitive skin and coarse hair (a winning combo, I know!). So while I certainly will not fault an esthetician for failing to remove every single hair, at least remove all the wax! I purchased a package deal, which is a great price, but won't be using the last one as I'm simply tired of the mixed results, even when I go to the same esthetician each time. Went to European wax center this past weekend with a friend . We both went to get our under arms waxed as a gateway into waxing because we were both nervous being it our first time getting waxed . I scheduled my appointment with k'asha and I was so pleasantly pleased . I told her all of my concerns about waxing , I asked tons of questions before and during the process . K'asha made me feel so comfortable about the whole process and made so relaxed . She was professional and understanding I appreciated her patience and her information she was giving me . I ended up loving the experience and I'm for sure making k'asha my regular waxer she even gave me some free samples (but the lady behind the counter forgot to give them to me , didn't realize until I got home ) If your a first time customer you get your under arms , brow or Bikini line waxed for free , which made my wax free !! It was a great surprise ! Definitely a great sales tactic and so many people should try this place . You're getting your first wax free ! What do you have to lose ? I'm super happy with the Brazilian wax I got today from Mia! I've been getting waxed for years but recently moved to this area and needed to find a new place. Mia explained everything she was doing and went over the products used. They use hard wax which is something I've never used but I'm so happy with the result. I already feel a difference for my skin which is awesome because I'm sick of my skin looking irritated after each wax. I ended up purchasing a year's worth of waxes. I highly recommend this place. Lindsay was my aesthetician. She was courteous and The experience felt very rushed due to her back-to-back appointments booked. On the positive front, she didn't make me feel awkward for screaming like a little baby. Her personality was very nice. The wax used is strip less so it's a lot gentler than the other places. The wax isn't too hot and after the Initial shock, the stinging went away. Waxing is never a fun experience and she made it as tolerable as one could expect or imagine. About half inch above my bikini cut, I asked her if she could take off about an inch of hair. She said no bc it was my stomach. THIS is your stomach. ... okay. I have been waxed before, and as its literally maybe 4 pieces of hair, it's never been an issue about getting it taken off, but apparently she had to be adamant about it being a different body part bc it is half inch away. Perhaps it is company policy. I'm glad that I'm not going to a beach or a photo shoot bc a lot of hair was left. I understand the hair growth rate when first getting waxed, AND that's why aestheticians take their time w a virgin wax knowing you may need to repeat an area to get parts off, especially somewhere as crucial as a bikini line. Aside from the tiny short hairs and the growth rate issue, there are areas that weren't done thoroughly that should have been repeated but were not. The establishment is clean and sanitary, but the point of a wax is to remove hair. If that's not accomplished, then what service did I just pay for? read more

So unfortunately I was only able to go here twice due to moving away but my experience both times were great. Everyone was very friendly and informative. My water was Mia and I highly suggest her! She stated that the little hairs were hard to take out which I completely understood the next day I'm checking again and there is huge patches of hair that are waxable. Very disappointed. After a horrible waxing experience at my local facility, I decided to give EWC a try one weekend. OMG! Talk about a night and day experience!! I got a Brazilian, which was as close to pain free as I've ever experienced. Tori made it look so EASY! It was insane. When I arrived, they took my temperature which read 99 degrees. The woman claimed that I had a fever. 99 is NOT a fever. I informed the woman that it was a hot day (It was 95 degrees out) and they had the customers waiting outside to check in while they were in the AC. Of course, everyone's temperature might read a tad higher than normal because of the weather and the fact that we have to wear masks. However, 99 degrees is still not a fever and is normal. The woman got very snarky with me and had an attitude and said, "I wear a mask all day too." Yes, but you're still inside with the AC on not standing outside with the sun beaming on you. I left and returned approximately seven minutes later. The woman took my temperature again and--surprisingly my "fever" was gone. I never had a fever, and if I did, why would it be gone in seven minutes? Why even bother being open if you're going to turn all of your customers away and claim they have a "fever". I witnessed four women after me got turned away for the same thing. Supposedly having a "fever". Just ridiculous. My appointment was at 5:15 and I didn't get waxed until 5:45. EDIT: No one is saying not to abide by what the CDC says. Your employees aren't doctors. Maybe inform them on what a "fever" actually is. Doesn't excuse your receptionist being very rude towards me. read more
