On the way to Sorrento he gave us information about Naples and the towns we passed on the way to Sorrento. A full day tour of the Amalfi Coast was also booked from the US. Francesco was waiting outside the hotel when we came out 10 minutes before our agreed upon time of 0900. This entire day was very enjoyable. This tour is a must for anyone visiting this part of Italy. I thought of driving it myself but I'm glad I didn't and I wouldn't recommend anyone else driving it either. The road is difficult, narrow and hilly. The large number of hairpin turns and tour buses will not allow you to enjoy the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. Our driver was informative and really made this a great day. We did a brief tour of a Lemoncello factory (no pressure to buy anything at all) that was very informative. His recommendation for lunch was outstanding. One of the best meals we've had in Italy. This was so much better than taking one of the big tour buses where you have little control of what/where you go, and you bring the crowd with you. I booked this transfer and excursion from the US and found everyone to be wonderful. They always answered my emails promptly and the cost of this excellent service is very reasonable. As there are other choices, I find that I made the right one. We were met at the Naples train station by Vincente, who quickly gathered up our luggage and got us on the road to Sorrento. En route, we stopped at Pompeii for a 2-hour tour. This was also arranged by the service and Libby was our tour guide. She did a great job, a very personable young lady with expert knowledge of the intricate ruins. We had an early train out of Naples two days later and Raffaele was waiting for us in the lobby to take us back to where we needed to be. I give Sorrento Limousine Service my highest recommendation. We had two drivers: Rocco, who handled the Rome, Naples & Pompeii trips; and Umberto, who drove us from Naples to Ottati & Castelcivita. Both men were professional, charming and friendly, as if your Italian relatives were driving you. Umberto became somewhat of a legend on that trip, since he took us to the towns our families came from and became our interpreter. And oh... Umberto is the father of Giovanni, who runs Benvenuto Limos. (We sent a video to them as a thank you.) This August at the last minute (well, for me at least, during June) after much urging by my wife and the people of Ottati I attended the 75th Anniversary of the opening of town's aqueduct. Fundraising was done by my great uncle and others in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, my hometown, as well by a group in Pennsylvania. There was no way I was driving two hours up the mountains. My wife told me to call Giovanni and Benvenuto and guess who picked me up in Naples? Umberto! And he picked me up a couple of days later to take me back to Naples. Our experience wouldn't have been as amazing as it was without Giovanni, Daniella and the entire staff. My family (three adult children and two parents) traveled to Italy and after a terrible travel day, we were greeted at the train station in Naples by Roberto and had a wonderful drive to the coast, which was quite refreshing and relaxing after a treturous journey from California. We came to Italy with very little knowledge of the area and very little planned for the week. Giovanni with the assistance of Daniella not only provided us with seamless pick up and drop offs throughout the week in their spotless air conditioned cars, but he and his drivers were basically our tour guides each day which made the trip so much better. They planned our itinerary perfectly with their extensive knowledge of the area and connected us to all the best sights, restaurants, and more. One day we visited Pompeii and Herculaneum. They organized for us to have a private guide in both places and we stopped for an amazing lunch at a winery on Mount Vesuvius during the day. The wine tasting and food was incredible. This was a must all thanks to the Benvenuto team. One of the most memorable moments was our dinner in Positano at a restaurant that is a little bit hidden from the main touristy area, La Guarracino. Giovanni personally called the restaurant to get us a reservation and gave us recommendations of what to order. The assorted chefs choice sea food plate was one of the best things we've ever had and the whole night was so magical. This trip was so special and memorable for my family. When it came to an end, we were so sad to say goodbye to Giovanni who we'd loved getting to know throughout the week. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! Rainbow Limos was highly recommended by a friend and prices seemed quite comparable to other private transport. They picked us up at the Naples train station and drove us to Positano with a stop for a prearranged private tour (that they set up) of Pompeii, then at the end of our stay picked us up at our hotel and took us to Naples airport. If you have the budget I would highly recommend the guided Pompeii tour - I think we got a lot more out of it than if we had been wandering around on our own. They were efficient in communication ahead of time, very clear on details and prices via email, on time/ahead of time for pick ups, and we felt very safe with them. They were extremely kind when our train from Rome was delayed and helped make sure our private Pompeii tour could still happen. Would absolutely use them again!

The tour included visits to Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello with beautiful views of the sea and coastline. We stopped in Positano for the most delicious lunch (and fell in love with the city). Along the way, Rino shared his favorite stops so we could admire the breathtaking views and take photos. During the whole tour, Rino shared stories of his homeland, Sorrento, and the region. Just an absolutely perfect day! Based on this lovely experience with Rino, we decided to revisit the Amalfi coast in 2016. We contacted Italy Limousine and Josephine worked with us on scheduling dates, providing suggestions, and assisting with reservations; she was the key to making our trip awesome. This year, we booked two tours. The first, a one-way tour from Naples airport with a drop at our hotel in Positano. Because we arrived around noon, Josephine customized our tour to include a stop for lunch at a winery near Pompeii. The luncheon included a wine tasting and the most fresh and delicious meal (antipasta, spaghetti, and pastry); a perfect way to begin our vacation in Italy. Our driver, Antonio, was super friendly and played wonderful music, and we so relished the breathtaking views. After our week stay in Positano, Capri, and Naples, our second tour was to Florence. We were delighted to find Antonio's warm and welcoming smile at our hotel in Naples (exactly on time). Off we went for our five hour trek to Umbria; and again, Josephine suggested we stop in Orvieto, a beautiful town with a 14th Century Cathedral and Underground. After enjoying a brief lunch and tour of the city, we joined a tour offered in Italian, and were so thankful that Antonio joined us and translated the Italian to English. Upon arriving in Florence, we were saddened to say good-bye to our friend, Antonio, as he went above and beyond in making our day so enjoyable. So glad we opted to use Amalfi Coast Driver for our transport and Pompeii tour! We came into the Naples train station and Pepi was waiting for us with the signboard with my name on it. Hustled our bags out to the conveniently parked Mercedes and we were off to Positano - a one hour ride that will take your breath away. He was knowledgable, experienced, a great driver, and a lifelong resident of the area. Had a lot of info - and good English. We learned about the hillsides full of olive trees and the harvest process, as well as the grapefruit sized lemons - its why they have amazing Limoncello. Deposited us at the hotel and discussed pickup and our tour to Pompeii on our way back to Naples. He was early for our pickup (I like that), took us to the entry gates of Pompeii, arranged a meetup time, and was awaiting us on our exit.
