She was very accommodating and, as part of this discussion, we relayed that we would be coming to Sorrento from Rome. As part of this discussion, because we had a large group of eight, we figured out that it would be cheaper and a lot easier, to book them as a car service from Rome to Sorrento. So, we ended up using them for both the car service and the tour. During this process, or arrival date, departure date, and total number of persons changed a few times. Luisa was non-plussed and accommodated each change easily. Great Service! We were assigned Luigi Iaccarino as our driver from Rome. He is a very entertaining man! As we were looking to go to Pompeii from Sorrento, he suggested that we stop on the way, as there would be a break in the weather and it would save us about three hours round trip from Sorrento. We chose to do this and it only cost us an extra 10 Euros a piece for two hours at Pompeii. It ended up working out perfectly, and Luigi waited for us and was right where he said he would meet us, right on time. During the ride from Rome to Sorrento, he also frequently advised us of possible rest stops, points of interest, and possible places to stop to shop for local products, (yum limoncello!) I think Luigi enjoyed our company, because he ended up being our driver the next day for our tour. Again, it was a great drive filled with perfect anecdotes and recommendations for stops. He went the extra mile, (should I say kilometer?,) and took us different ways that were less direct but had better views and stops. He was also very warm and open about his life, talking about his parents, where he grew up, his time in the US where he worked in the shipping industry, the death of his brother-in-law that made his wife ask him to leave that business, and his wife and children. He even drove us by his family's little market store near Sorrento and honked at his wife! Both Luisa and Luigi were a joy to work with and, if you do get Luigi as a driver, be sure to ask him why his nickname and his market is "Mezzanotte".

Valentina, Marco, and Giuseppe were all extremely knowledgeable of the areas, well connected and professional. We utilized Sami's services for pick up from the Naples Airport, an Amalfi coast day tour (Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello), a Pompeii historical/Vesuvius winery tour, a drop off/pick up Maiori beach day, and drop off at the Naples train terminal. For us this was the best way to vacation in Amalfi for overall value and safety. Amalfi is beautiful but difficult area to get around due to the winding narrow roads with extreme traffic, elevation, and lack of parking. I could not imagine a better driving service than Sami.

He drove us to his home town for the most amazing ice cream I have ever had. We had a great day learning about the area and history. Nello had arranged a tour of Pompeii with Rosella, who was born and raised there. She was very knowledgeable and equally as adorable. We really enjoyed the tour. Then we were back on the beautiful, new Mercedes and on our way to lunch in Sorrento. From there we went to Positano for some shopping. The drive was uneventful (which is a good thing) and we felt safe and relaxed with Marco at the wheel. Our only regret was not having enough time to really explore in Positano. So I guess we will have to return soon!

Once we arrived on Capri a bus took us up and we went in the Blue Grotto, which was beautiful. From there we went up to Anacapri which had the most amazing sights. They recommended a great place for lunch and we had time to ourselves for shopping and picture taking. From there we got back on the bus and went down to Capri where we were taken on lemoncello tasting, chocolate tasting and some other goodies. From there we went to the Augustus Gardens which were absolutely beautiful. A little more shopping, back on the bus to the ferry and back to mainland with wonderful memories.
