I brought my friend there to have her car detailed. When we went back to get her car, I was so impressed I immediately paid for and made an appointment to get my car done. I can't even explain how happy I am with the results. Perfectly clean inside and out. The outside is smooth, never this smooth before. Wow, what a deal! Carl & Carol did an outstanding job on both my aging Jags for less $$ than I've ever paid for detailing anywhere else. My cars were spotless inside and out, my tires were shiny, my alloy wheels were sparkly, and all the pine needles and related tree gunk were completely gone. In addition, Carl and Carol are terrific folks. They even kept their shop open until my ride arrived (way late) when I dropped the car off. And they seem to be open 7 days a week, as I dropped one car off on Sunday and there they were - working their butts off on some other smart customer's car. Euromax is just a great place to get your car thoroughly cleaned for only slightly more than the price of a mediocre cleaning at your local automated car wash. Highly recommend! Very pleased with their services and very pleased with the price! My car looked spectacular after they were finished. Yes--the owner does put in too many Groupons and yes it is hard to get an appointment before your Groupon expires. He needs to hire more workers. The owner does try the "sales pitch" for more services to your car at a greater expense--but all you have to say is "no Thank you!" They have detailed two luxury cars for me so far and I am very satisfied. read more

DO NOT waste your money! This old man is a THIEF! Bought a Living Social deal - HA! What a deal! Dropped my truck off - talked into the "leather conditioning" for an additional $30. When I picked my truck up - I was in a rush - grabbed it and left. Not without giving him a $10 tip - in the spirit of Christmas - as well as paying an additional $50 ($30 for the leather conditioning - $10 additional for an SUV and the rest in taxes). He didn't do ANYTHING except maybe wash the outside of my truck and vacuum the interior! Vents filthy dirty. Center console still has dried honey mustard and french fries - my leather seats look EXACTLY the same as when I left my truck with him and there is sand still in my trunk from the summer!!!! Be careful! I purchased a car detail from Amazon, and was supposed to have my car detailed January 29th. I showed up, and they apparently took the day off. nobody called. I called and left a voicemail, nobody called back. I tried again, left another voicemail, and for 2 weeks nobody called back. Called back a third time, and expressed my concern with unprofessionalism. Instead of owning it, and accommodating to reschedule the owner denied it, assured me he called to cancel my appointment, and told me to go get a refund from Amazon - that he would not honor it. The owner was incredibly disrespectful, and rude. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had!! These guys are too busy to treat people who have paid them for a service well. This is a common complaint from other people about them as well. The gentleman who answered the phone was extremely rude and really should work on his phone manners. The first appointment they had was a month out, and when I asked about how long the process took he told me, "the car was done when it got done." The only reason that this place is getting 1 star instead of 0 is that they were mildly flexible with my Groupon voucher. I was given a voucher for an auto detailing for Christmas last year with 3 months before it expired. I called several times for an appointment, and they were always booked. The owner was nice about the expiration date and kept extending it for me until I was able to get an appointment. As you can see from this review, it is now November. Yes, it took 11 months for me to get an appointment there. The only reason I was able to get this appointment was by switching around my work schedule to fit it in. And he dictated to me the day and time, I had hardly a say in the matter. Apparently, from other reviews, it is just this older man and his wife who run the entire shop and they put out way more Groupon deals than they can handle. Customer service is HORRIBLE. It was like this man was doing me a favor by cleaning my car, giving me an appointment, even just answering the phone. I called 4 days before my appointment, just to confirm that everything was set, and it was like I was wasting his time. I had to pull out of him the time I was supposed to arrive, what time I could expect my car to be finished, and what I should come prepared with. I think it's pretty normal business etiquette to confirm an appointment with a customer and what they can expect, especially when the appointment had been made several months ahead of time. When I arrived at the shop, again, it was like I was annoying him for bringing my business there. He never once said "hello" or "how can I help you?", I had to tell him why I was there and that I had made an appointment in advance, and his response was to ask for my voucher. Now for the actual service: My Groupon voucher was for a sedan and I own a crossover. I did tell the man this on the phone when I (finally) made the appointment, and he made it sound like the voucher was fine to use. When I got there, he told me there would be an additional charge of $13 because my car is not a sedan. $13 really isn't expensive, but he had multiple opportunities to bring that up to be before I actually arrived at the shop. It would have been nice to have a heads up. I had to drop my car off in the morning (between 830 and 930) and he told me I could expect it back around 4pm. Because of the lack of flexibility with appointments, I had to arrange a pick-up and drop-off with both my father-in-law and my mother. The option to hang around the shop or to walk to a local business doesn't exist. There isn't a waiting room for customers and there aren't places around to hang out for the day For a thorough detailing, I could see it taking 6 hours or so. In fact, I've had my car detailed before and that's about the time that it took. Here's the kicker: this detailing is basically a glorified wash and vacuum. While he took a look at my car, the owner told me that he couldn't get a spot out of my car floor because they don't shampoo. I asked if I could pay extra for him to work on that one spot, and he said, "No, we don't own shampoo. We just use a high suction vacuum." My seats won't be washed or conditioned (they're leather), nor will my carpets be shampoo'd. So somehow a "Complete Auto Detailing, valued at $150" is just a wash and vacuum, which I easily could have done for $15 at my local car wash, 10 months ago. Can someone explain to me why I can't have my car for more than 7 hours and have to inconvenience others because this man needs that time to wash and vacuum my car? I forgot to take a carseat out of my back seat before I arrived, and when I said something about removing it before I left he said, "Don't bother, I already told you we don't use shampoo, we just vacuum." That's reassuring... As he was surveying my car, the owner noticed some areas of sap on my paint, maybe 5 small areas in total. My in-laws live in a very piney wooded area, and I occasionally get some sap droppings on my car. The man acted like it was the largest amount of sap he'd ever seen and that my paint job was eroding before his eyes. He asked if I wanted to pay for a special de-sapping treatment, but I didn't even consider it with how this whole experience had gone so far. That man was not getting any more of my money than he had to. Moral of the story: DON'T GO HERE! And don't buy a Groupon for it either, it's still not worth it!! Between the horrible customer service, his rudeness, the ridiculous wait for an appointment, and the lack of flexibility, it's amazing this place ever gets business to begin with. I know other reviews talk about this same thing, I just thought I should still give them a chance. I'm sorry I did! I don't care how clean my car is and how well vacuumed it is, a COMPLETE AUTO DETAILING should consist of more than a wash and vacuum. This place is very unprofessional and doesn't have the facilities our staff to handle the businesses generated by the Groupon's, travel zoo vouchers, and Amazon local deals they advertise. If you make the unfortunate mistake to buy one you'll first need to call to make an appointment. When you call they will first tell you they can't take your appointment until the deal has expired. That's the first time I've encountered that, but ok. Once the deal expires and you call back, the next appointment most likely won't be available for weeks, our in my case, six months, since I needed this done on a Saturday since I don't live in NJ. The reason for this is that it's just an old man and his wife cleaning vehicles in an old converted auto body shop. They will make you drop your car off before 9:30am but won't have it ready until after 4pm. With nothing in walking distance, this means either you'll need to waste a day, or coordinate someone else to pick you up and drop you off. I would be amiss to not mention that they don't pick up the phone half the time and when they do you feel like you're getting yelled at simply for trying to make an appointment our ask a question. Do yourself a favor, spend a little more and go to a professional place with lots of workers on staff and get your car detailed in 20 minutes as a walk in. Hopefully the town or authorities will step in and close them for business practices....although using the term business for them is in itself misleading. They are opportunistic liars and self serving scoundrels. Just try calling....you get a nice sounding voice recording (that's part of the scam)...but unless you identify yourself as a mark bringing new money...you won't hear from them again. When you do DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY ACCESS TO FUNDS OR VALUABLES. I'm too old to quietly put up with this type of stuff and generally bail before wasting much ...although they are experienced and good enough at it that they did it to me for months.....fortunately I recovered some. I bought my deal through amazon local. I really should have looked this place up first. If I could give no stars I would. It took months to get an appt. I had to coordinate a ride there and back. I upgraded for the leather and doors. When I picked up my car the next dat I was in shock. My seats still had crumbs in it. Around my cup holders were filthy. My dash was still dusty. The shelf where I put my glasses was never touched. The sides of my seats were never vacuumed. There was still a french fry there! The outside of the car looked like it was hosed off. Wax? What wax? I firmly believe he took my car to a car wash and paid the cheapest package. This is a scam! He had the nerve to get upset when I took a napkin and wiped dirt off my console and showed him. He refused admit that there was dirt there and said he did what I paid for which he clearly did not. How do you condition seats if there is still dirt on it? I said I was not paying for it. He threatened to keep my keys. I said I was calling the police. He said ...after fighting...that he wouldn't charge me for the seats he did not do. I called amazon and got my refund. Dear Readers Euromax has the most hopeless service in the whole of New Jersey. There is no doubt about the fact that you get what you pay for, no body does a whole car detailing for $39. Most of the time they don't answer your calls. I had a voucher for car detailing and they messed up two schedules, with the latest on 21 Dec 2017, they never informed about the gas issues they had, I travelled all the way from Philadelphia to be told that they again are unable to do the job. They are not courteous in their action or deed, though they are quick to say sorry. Please don't waste your precious time with euromax junk. I had a bitter experience and I think they are writing their own reviews. I called Groupon and explained everything and they were ready for a refund. Let's see if they give a refund. The guy acted like he was doing me a favor by DICTATING to me when I should bring the car in, all the while with a gruff, sarcastic tone. All I wanted was a mutual appointment. We found this detailer through Groupon and were nervous after reading all of these negative reviews. We figured for the amount paid, it couldn't be TOO bad. Opting to bring in the car with cloth seats (there's an additional charge to clean & condition leather), he really did a great job. The inside and outside of the car are comparable to $100+ details I've had. The only difference is that this place didn't do the engine bay.. and that's not a huge concern for me. He looked at some spots on the headliner of our other car, and pointed out what he could or could not spot treat without charging to do the entire thing. I've scheduled two other vehicles, including the leather package, as it is a great deal. I'd say give this guy a chance! read more

I called about 5 weeks out from my desired time I wanted my car detailed (I was retiring from the military and had friends/family coming in town). They said now open appointments and they would try and squeeze me in and give a call. No call came. I tried again and again but their phone goes to that automated system. I finally get in touch with someone and they said they can schedule me 6 weeks after my desired weekend. I told the owner that I decided to cancel the appointment and get a refund from Amazon Local. BEWARE!...Do NOT go to this place! It is a TOTAL scam claiming to detail your car inside and out...yet nothing more than a wash with a poor vacuum, and a shoddy wax job (at best), and that too only on certain obvious areas of the car. The owner is an unbelievably rude and arrogant old man who is incredibly condescending and tries to bully you with statements that leave you speechless. When I pointed out there were still water marks on the spoiler, he retorted these water marks were "ETCHED into the paint!!" When I pointed out, there were still swirl marks on the car, he stated "they do not buff the car after the waxing to remove these", and that it was MY fault for not getting my car detailed every 3 MONTHS!! And THEN he said I was "INSULTING" him by pointing these things out!!! When I got home, I ran my hands all around the car, only to find only certain areas of the car had NOT even been waxed. I know when a car has been properly waxed...my wife's car was detailed 3 months ago, and it is still as smooth (with absolutely no water marks or swirl marks). If you are a car guy and really prize your luxury and sports cars, your car will NOT come back any better after this guy does his ($190 value) "detailing"...and NO ONE should be treated so rudely! I like checking Yelp for reviews but typically do not make a comment. But I am making an exception in this case because I want people to be forewarned and go elsewhere. I read the reviews after making a Living Social purchase and although the majority of the reviews were BAD, I chose to give this place a try. Boy was I stupid & not believing the other Yelpers. I thought maybe the owner would shape up his act after seeing the reviews but sadly, same complaints as other Yelpers. I spoke with Carl (owner?), while speaking on the phone with him, Rush Limbaugh was blaring in the background. We tried to work out a time to get the car detailed but unavailable for the dates he had available. Bottom line, a time could not be worked out & this is when Carl started to become belligerent & a complete you know what. What a fantastic way to speak to customers. When I arrived, he reneged on that and wanted to charge me more. He was rude, surly, his place of business was a pigsty. He threw the voucher (literally) back in my face. Obviously, I left not wanting to do business with this man. When I called Living Social to say that I was not going to redeem the voucher and I wanted a credit to my account (deal bucks would have been fine to me), they said the business owner had redeemed the voucher! We have used Euromax for a couple of years now. Twice a year the cars get done. We don't eat or drink anything but water in our cars. We don't have kids, so maybe our cars aren't as fitly as some of the photos others have posted. Carl and Carol have always been pleasant and do great work. It's just the two of them and they do the cars as if they belonged to them. They don't rush it. Because they take time and do a great job they are booked far in advance. They also can't control the weather, wax doesn't work well in extreme cold. If it is raining they can't do many cars, if any, as they have 2 bays. People would be screaming if they freshly detailed cars were put out doors in bad weather. I am booking our fall appointments today. read more

I purchased a Deal Chicken coupon almost a year ago for this business. It was so reasonable that honestly I did not know what to expect. After my appointment was made we realized that the coupon would have been expired. The owner was so accommodating and extended the date so that I did not lose the deal. I must admit the vehicle was a detail shops nightmare. There was more baseball dirt and grim as well as years worth of kid evidence. Dropping of the car I was hoping that a good vacuum job and general cleaning would have been well worth the coupon. When I picked my car up. I was shocked at how amazing it looked! The interior was beautiful and the extenior did not look a bit like its age of 10 yrs! To sweeten the experience the owner gave me a set of stereo covers that he had ordered for another customer that no longer wanted them. THE WORST MOST UNPROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENT AROUND.....The review below by Jeremy Y is 100% on point and accurate so i will not have to repeat what see said because my experience is the same, but i would like to elaborate on my "wonderful" experience. I Purchased the voucher off Amazon locals for around $39 for the full detail. After purchasing the voucher I tried to contact the business itself to make the appointment. After trying 4 times i finally got ahold of a grumpy older man who sounded like her was picking up his house phone. He proceeded to tell me there was no appointments available until 4 months down the road because "they were so busy" months later....the day had finally come for my detail appointment. After calling the previous day for confirmation i was told to be there by 8am sharp to be the first car in and out...when i arrive at 8am sharp I am extremely caught off guard by the condition of the garage. This is like something from a HORROR FILM. And the employees literally consist of the old grumpy man who answered the phone and his poor wife (who seemed very sweet by the way) who was well equipped for the detailing with her runner lawn gloves on! So after he gives my car a once over, he proceeds to tell me that i would have to pay an ADDITIONAL $35 for the seats to be conditioned and the doors to be cleaned.... i found this extremely annoying but at this point it was whatever so i agreed to the "additional" detail fee.... I dropped my car and was told it would be down "shortly" he would call me. 2pm rolls around and i needed to pick up my car because i didn't have a ride later, so i give good old grumpy man a call and after another 3 attempts he finally picks up and i was told the car was just starting to get washed and wouldn't be done till 4pm...after politely telling him that i couldn't leave my car over night and i don't understand why it has taken all day, he totally loses it and starts yelling about "it is what it is" "have you have gotten a car detailed before" "i told you i would call you when it was done"...mind you that this is all being said in a very unprofessional way AKA screaming.....I told him to not continue with the work i would be on my way to pick up the car..... So its 3pm and now I'm back at the "shop" to pick up my un-detailed car and I'm greeted by the lovely old man...i believe his name was Carl.... He asked me when i wanted to come back to get the service done and i proceeded to tell him that i would take me business elsewhere because of how he conducted his business... he immedately flys off the handle bars yelling about how i don't know how long it takes to detail a car yadda yaddda yadda.... After listening to him gum out a few random sentences thru this mouth consisting of 1 tooth, i asked him for the voucher back because i would be contacting amazon for a refund as well. He immediately grabs the voucher print out off his "desk" and starts ripping it to shreds and "the voucher has already been used" I began to laugh and told him how crazy he was...Told him i needed that voucher or i would just call the police to settle the matter, "go ahead call the police".... and once i i took my iPhone out of my pocket he scoped up all the ripped pieces of voucher and give them back to me saying "here here the voucher number is right there, don't call the police"........ after a few choice words and a good laugh i turned to walk back to my car to leave.... You get what you pay for but in our case we couldn't even get what we paid for. The elderly gentleman who runs the "Auto Salon" is incredibly rude and unprofessional. It is evident that customer service is not what they focus on or care about. They focus on quantity but not quality, hence all the voucher purchase options. They oversell and cannot meet their expiration dates. They offer extensions and then do not honor the extensions, stating "your voucher expired". After purchasing living social coupon and direct coupon (3 washes), I've only been able to get one wash/wax done. Scheduled all the others well in advance but the owner cancelled and I've left 4 messages and he doesn't have the courtesy to return any of my calls. It's sickening to listen to his answering machine message saying they are overwhelmed. Well, don't sell coupons that you cannot service or return calls.
