I love my nails! I usually get the done at Galena Nails but they've been doing a sloppy job recently and I came across Europe Nails while shopping. My nails were a hot mess! One hand had no tips on anymore and the other hand had messy polish. I paid $35 for a new set and they look AMAZING! He took time to make my nails perfect and the polish dried very fast! Holy moly do NOT go here. I only went here bc It was the evening and all other salons were closed. I have to go get my nails taken off and redone today. They are SO sloppy and disgusting that I'm embarassed. The salon is SO DIRTY and there is no actual color palette for the polishes it's very odd. Laura, who apprently owns it, was extremely uncomfortable and asked me where I had my nails done before, and telling me hers were cheaper etc. and asked me WHY I wanted acrylic nails? It was really odd and rude. I paid $40 altogether to have my nails ruined. She did not even have proper gel LEDs, and this morning my nail bubbled up because the layers underneath weren't even dried... just praying I didn't contract some type of disease because her tools probably weren't sanitized. I came in for the special that was $25 for white tips but I didn't ask for gel and they did it anyways!, I wasn't sure if it was included or he was just being nice and giving me clear gel. My former salon closed permanently due to COVID-19 so I did a "walk-in" appointment about a month ago at Europe Nails. Needed a pedicure after not having one for several months, due to COVID-19. The woman who appeared to be the owner was not wearing a mask the entire time. While she did not perform my pedicure, I was still uncomfortable that she was ignoring Covid protocols. Well, today I called ahead for an appointment, but got no answer. Thought they might've closed shop, too, but I went there thinking I'd do another walk-in if they were still open. When I got there, there were 2 people have manicures and one worker sitting in the rear pedicure area. That same women asked what I needed, to which I replied, "a pedicure." She asked if I had an appointment and I responded, "no." She proceeded to tell me, rudely, that I needed an appointment for a pedicure. She never even made eye contact with me during the entire exchange. I repeated, "I need an appointment?" She didn't respond, just continued performing the client's manicure. Not sure what the deal was, but won't be going there and spending money there again. read more

Highly disappointed! I went In for a gel manicure and a pedicure. First of all, my pedicure lasted solid 8-10 min. The man skipped so many steps, the water was cold, he was very rough with me that the 30 sec massage was painful, he dropped tools on the floor and continued to use them, my feet are itchy still and I got the pedicure 3 days ago. I watched them reuse pedicure bowls and gloves without disinfecting. Then when we went for the manicure he reused the same tools he used on my feet for my hands. My gel polish was so streaky and half assed, I paid extra for the gel so it doesn't chip right away and 3 days later they are already chipping off. I will never come here again and I will advise everyone not to! read more

Rude and unfriendly staff. Clear preferential treatment of "regular" clients vs first time clients like myself. The woman next to me had her legs massaged with oil, hot towels and very through pedicure. My pedicure was rushed and she did a poor job. My nails were cut unevenly and not to requested length. The polish was applied fast and sloppily. I looked at my phone and "poof" she was done. I'm not even sure she did 2 coats and top coat. It has been less than a week and I need another pedicure. Was in a hurry to get my nails done and I have now learned don't go anywhere other than the place you trust. I walked in and was asked gel or regular fill, no "hi" or anything. She then pointed me in the direction I needed to go. I then told the gentleman several times that they were way too long and he refused to cut them down (I had to go back in a couple days later). Nail service was descent but I am completely dissatisfied w the quality of their nail polish which to me is the most important thing. I had my nails done new years day, 3 days later my nail polish started peeling off. This is the second time this has happened but the first time I had only paid 5 to get my daughter's nails polished, that night they all came off in shower. I have to say the Spa Pedicure I received at your Salon was the worst I have ever had. What a disappointment. I even called before to inquire about the service and was told that the tech took a lot of time in cleaning up your feet and gave a long massage on the feet and legs. The massage was horrible with nothing but tapotement which left me bruised. And I need to go somewhere else to have my feet cleaned from the dead skin. Wow, TERRIBLE! I have no idea why I even considered walking in this hell hole. First of all I walk in, of course I'm greeted by "WHAT YEW NEED?!?" I asked if they did eyebrow waxing. She confirmed they did. I took a seat as I waited. She then with her hand signals for me to follow her, not one single word spoken. The waxing room is a chair, just a regular dinner table chair. No recline, no bed to lay on, just a chair. She didn't ask me to lean my head back, she pushed my head back. She pushed it pretty hard and didn't apologize for banging it. The smell of her terrible breath and sweat was enough to take my eyebrows off. She did such a shitty job. They look totally different from each other and are not symmetrical. She didn't pluck or cut any with scissors, just wam bam a little wax and you're done. She didn't ask me if I liked it or anything she just said "done." And walked out with her shitty attitude. She went to ring me up and said "TEN DOLLA" I gave her a 20$ and asked for 5 back, and that's literally all she did, handed me a 5 back and walked away. No thank you, no come again, she just simply walked away. I will be coming back here, not because I liked the service but so I can return the favor. I'll get my nails done or something, complain about how they look, give her a really hard time, have her re-do them 5x and then not tip her. I came here because I was visiting frederick for a wedding and it was the closest nail salon for the price. I usually go nowhere without looking at teh yelp reviews so I dont know what made me do this. This was the worst nail salon experience that I have ever...experienced. for one their mani pedi special is not a special at all, its the regular price yet they have it advertised on their website as a coupon you have to print out and present, when you get to the salon, there it is again advertised as a sale that they are having. honestly they should run some actual deals because that's not gonna get people in the store considering how utterly shitty it is in there. it was your typical older asian nail salon decor except everything was dirty and dusty. When I walked in I was greeted immediately so thats a where the one star is earned. when you go and "choose color" half of the damn nail polishes were dried up and variety was very lacking. after choosing a color we (my cousin and I) did not know what to do next, we were not told to sit down or go to a room or anything, so we just kinds walked around and found this seating area in the back and sat there on our own accords. back in the waiting area there was this big fish tank that looked like no one cleaned it in 30 years, the water was so murky that it still had teh nerve to be running a filter as if clean water was still possible. pretty much the worst fish tank i've ever seen, then finally a guy came over and told me to sit down at the spa chair for a pedi. the chair was soooooo gross, there was literally crumbs on the foot rest and I didn't even want to know what was in the foot pool, I just accepted that this was the day I lose my toenails to a flesh eating bacteria all in the name of painted toes. the guy put a towel over the foot rest so I felt better about placing my foot down. the man was nice, he offered me some tea or water, which I kindly declined due to the cleanliness of that place but he was not paying attention to what he was doing. He kept turning around like 360 degrees while he was doing stuff to my feet to watch the news! the worst part was when he was watching tv and punching my feet like it owed him money, it hurt so much! teh lady doing my cousin was a little rude, when she noticed that my cousin had Gel polish on she scoffed and was like "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?? My preferred salon. I work in the mall so I'm there pretty frequently. When I started back at my job after getting gels put on about 3 weeks earlier, my nails were too long and started to break the gloves we wear at my job. So I went in on my break and they took all of them off and put on a clear coat - only cost $10 and was done in less than 30 minutes. I went elsewhere once to get gels done and the person completely messed them up. The lady at Europe Nails fixed them for me at a very cheap price. I'm not one to splurge on myself (ever) so this salon is great for the price. read more

I will not be returning to this salon. I initially went because it was convenient and pretty cheap. I got a pedicure and full set for $55, but it wasn't even worth that. There wasn't anyone waiting for service in the salon but my pedicure was VERY rushed. The whole thing probably took under 15 minutes and I felt that the painting was sloppy. I asked for a simple design on one nail which was TERRIBLE... My 3 year old could have done better. Then they slathered on a top cop and smeared all of the polish. It's been 3 days and the Polish has chipped off of 2 nails, and one nail had popped off entirely! Spring nails is around the same price with much better service, id suggest going there. read more

Went in for a pedicure and the water was cold when I put my feet in. When they turned the faucet on to increase the temperature I burned my ankle with the sudden jet of hot water. They were a little rough with my feet and I felt like they didn't sanitize the files between customers. They also like ripped a piece of skin off my toe. I'm giving them two stars instead of one because the people who there were nice (though they seemed a little bit understaffed) and my pedicure came out to my standards. read more

Laura the owner here is so rude... she doesn't care about customer service or nothing. If someone ask for her she does not care she will past you along to who ever is available. I've been disappointed by this place several times... one time I got acrylics and they looked hideous. Literally there was no reason for them to look the way they looked. Laura got angry and well she had someone else redo them. I only ever went here for pedicures but they're horrible at that too. Honestly the worst nail salon in Frederick. She has so much clients because her service is cheap but you're paying what you asked for. Most of these nails fall off 2 weeks after or start to unattached from your actual nail. Causing them to fall off and she blames it on the length your real nail is. I found a new place and I can go 4 weeks and all nails still beautifully attached. I went here the other night because all other nail salons in the area close around 6pm on Saturday. This salon at least stays open until the mall closes. Do not be enticed because the prices are cheap. You get what you pay for here. The salon is noisy and while I was there they were playing a horrible b-rate, pirated action movie on their big screens. The last thing I want to hear while trying to relax is gunfire and explosions. There was also a woman sitting in the waiting room eating smelly Chinese food from the mall while she was waiting on someone. She just set up shop at the drying station like it was her dining room, watching the movie and slurping her chow mein. Staff said nothing to her. The tech that assisted me gave the worst pedicure I've ever had. She was abrupt, did not actually clean the nails, nor did she clip them. She only filed them. She cut me twice (it bled) trying to clean up the skin around the nail. She never scrubbed my feet or filed the dead skin off; she just lightly rubbed them and started softly punching my calves. It was...awkward. It took her forever to actually paint my nails and they were still sloppy. When she did my manicure I asked for squared off nails. My nails were filed down short and rounded. I had to fix them all when I got home and now I don't even have nails! She did not clean the nails either; paid no attention to the cuticle. She cut me once while doing my nails. She was sloppy when painting the nail so I asked her to just put clear polish on instead. It took forever! $39 + a $5 pity tip was a waste of money. I doubt the girl was even licensed. FILTHY!!!!!!!! Disgusting does not even begin to describe this place. I used to go here years ago when it first opened and it used to be a fabulous salon. I went back recently after moving back to frederick and i thought i was going to have a panic attack mid-way through my pedicure! around the pedicure chairs are LITERALLY HUNDREDS of toe nail clippings surrounding the chairs. That alone made me want to barf. After noticing this I started to look around behind the pecicure chairs is PILES of dust and those tacky plastic flowers that must have been there FOREVER. Even more terrifying is in the middle of my pedicure the technician needed an additiional tool and grabbed one out of the sink that i had just watched another put in there that was just used!!!!! This place is rude and they rush thru whatever you are getting. Most of the staff is rude and mean. They are not a clean place. They don't clean their pedicure tubs at all. When they drop a tool on the floor, they will still use it on you. I saw them take a customer for a pedicure, work on them for 15 minutes, then they took another one without cleaning the tub. When you want your nails a certain way, they throw an attitude with you. NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN!!! read more

I only went in for a fill; front desk service lady had an attitude, when I told the guy I wanted black stripes on my one nails he had an attitude about it, and the lines were so uneven, and looked like a 12 year old did it, one of my nails is triple the size in thickness and it wasn't like that going in, and my nails looked grown out as soon as I walked out. I HATE to go to this salon but of course when in a rush you go to the closest person near your home. I got stuck with the guy that sits in the back because the people in the front did not feel like doing my fill ( Although they had NO ONE sitting in their chairs) He didn't remove the polish i had completely so as he was doing my fill he said it will wash off when you wash your hands .... so he caked the acrylic on my nails which was completely not needed and screwed up the shape of my nails that my coffin shape name now look like squares.
