The smell of the cashmere sweaters I expected to dissipate after the cleaning was still there fully intact- the closet smell, the smoke of the barbecue smell in the restaurant all were there, as if never been cleaned. The sweaters didn't look clean but ironed, which is not good for the health of the fabric. Because now the grease, the sweat, dirt - all are embedded into the fabric. And I'm not sure if the bright color of the cashmere will ever be restored. But that's just on the quality of the job. There was an issue with customer service and communication as well. I called the business before I took my dry cleaning asking about if they do express cleaning at extra rate. She gave a promising response - I can pick it up next day or two days maximum. So we agreed I showed up. After receiving and counting 32 items she gives me 4 day minimum. I explained to her that we will be leaving for east coast on the same pick up day but she responded with unclear answer. The only thing was clear when she said was her remark on my clothes - she said I have nice clothes. I always hoped the dry cleaning have less judgment on value of the clothes we bring. They could be equally valuable for various reasons. Anyway, not going back.
