As a recent SF to Marin transplant I have been flabergasted by the prices for dry cleaning in Marin. In fact for the last year, after trying a few places out here, I have had my husband take our dry cleaning back to SF - its cheaper to drive and pay the toll and get better quality than what you pay out here. I needed a few things dry cleaned and saw someone post about S&H on NextDoor and thought I would give it a try. Wow. I left the 8 sweaters outside - they picked them up and dropped them off 2 days later looking great (a few tough stains gone, no shrinkage) and then I just paid online.
