(This explains the Ace and Do It Best logos on products.) A lot of what they sell is also new old stock and some hard to find items. Some of the tools they sell are harbor freight quality, but cheaper in price so they are worth it for what you get. I stop by very couple of weeks. Finally Emma Gonzales, comes in doesn't acknowledge us at first then takes are bidder number. We then ask how long do you think it will be. She tells us she has no idea and just go sit down outside (100 degrees outside), and wait to be called. Rude, but we did it, there were several others waiting for their items as well. Three of them had already been waiting for more than 20 minutes. After being there for 30 minutes we call the corporate office to complain. My Husband is a disabled vet and was beginning to feel ill. at this time there were about 15-20 people waiting and I could not get a hold of any of the employees to tell them we had to leave. We called corporate again and explained the situation, they told us to reach out to the owner, that they would try and help us but we needed to do that first. This place is open 8-2 and if your item/s are not brought out they close and it's just to bad. Well I texted the two people on the web site, Emma being one of them. Told them the situation, she says " you are the ones that called corporate , right?) , not let see what I can do to fix the situation. She then tells me one of my items has been misplaced and they will offer a refund on that one. I was told I could pick up my other item the following day. I reassured her I would do that. You would think that she would ensure it was ready to be picked, it wasn't and we waited for her to finish typing for another five minutes, before even looking up at us. Again just rude. We picked up our item, took it home, and it is not the correct item! For the love of God! Why is this so hard for her to figure out! I sent multiple photos and told her I wanted a complete refund, and she could come pick it up. I was not going to drive down there for a third time. My time is valuable and I was fair about everything. She messaged back and said no you return or no refund. At this point I'm going to eat the loss but I will post as many reviews as possible, I don't want anyone else to be treated so badly. Just a side note ; when reaching out to corporate they did state they have had numerous complaints about this auction house and they were probably going to discontinue allowing them to use Local Auctions Platform. I sure hope the do!

OK, I've been here three times now spent 1 to 2 hours each time and so far haven't bought anything…read more Number one make sure you have a cell phone that you can look things up on Home Depot because that's how you find the prices. Unfortunately, I have to be in a Wi-Fi area in order to use my phone like that. And they don't have Wi-Fi. I needed very specific things size wise. And you're not allowed to open packaging but when you pick up a lamp and you lightly shake it and you hear broken glass, but you're not allowed to open up the package and see what exactly broke why bother buying it at half price if you're not gonna be able to use it. This happened repeatedly also I was looking for a specific size bathroom medicine cabinet. Since much of the writing on the boxes didn't have dimensions, and I couldn't open the boxes because it's against the rules. I could find boxes that I think might've had the right sized item inside but I really couldn't take the gamble especially when I can't see if they're scratches or dents or a door ripped off, etc. I think the only thing I will come back here for is tile. If you're doing a craft project and you need a few pieces of tile or you're doing something special to cover a table top and you only need a few feet. This is the place to come for the tile. Unfortunately, the majority of the tile is not labeled and not priced and I hate having to run up to the counter every single time I find something to find out how much it's gonna cost. It's just ridiculous. I found a similar place, not too far away, where the people don't mind if you open the items to look at them and they will even go so far as to take a light fixture and wire it to a test area to show you that it works. So I think I will keep going to this other place instead.
