Interesting story here. So I got an Italian sectional couch from Dania in Tukwila and it arrived with a scratch on the bottom. We kept calling Dania and their own couch repair guy just somehow never contacted me for a follow up. After 4 weeks and 8 phone calls, the manager felt so bad and he said hey let me get our other partner European leather to come out and do the repair for you. I said sure and wow, European leather office Barbara reached out to me the very next day and set up date and time immediately for Marc to come do the repair. Repair was just done this morning and the couch is looking brand new again. I am very happy with their service and would recommend them to my friends and family. I don't know about their pricing though since Dania is gonna pay them on this one. read more

I called and left a message about our nice, new, expensive leather couch which I thought I had practically destroyed this weekend with a catastrophic spill. My wife bought a brand new leather couch when my 3 year old daughter decided it was a drawing surface and took a ball point pen to all 3 cushions. We purchased it at West Elm and they would not sell us replacement cushion covers. I brought the cushions to European Leather and they told me it would take a few weeks and they would try their best to get the pen marks out, and then match the leather wear. They finished it in 5 days and when I picked them up, I was amazed at home good they looked. The got all of the ink out of the cushion, and were able to match the worn leather look. I had what seemed like miles of leather bench cushions that we've had for 20 years and were a mess due to lively kids and lots of guests. Daunted by the expense of replacing all of them, I stumbled upon European Leather in my google searching. Bryan was so helpful and accommodating talking through my options and explaining realistically what I could expect. He also worked me in during a time where he could do it fairly quickly so we wouldn't be without cushions for long. The final result was better than expected and it feels like I got all new cushions. I'm roaming around the house looking for other projects they could do! I saved a lot of $$ by refinishing the current ones and they are going to be way less maintenance going forward. Marc Allen did an excellent job refinishing the seat cushions on our 10 year old dark grey leather sectional. There were some areas in which the color was totally done, revealing a plain light tan color. There were also some oily residues where our dogs had been on there. Marc matched the color perfectly (which is not easy with grey) and did the work in our home in under an hour. The results were excellent and the thing looks like it did when it was new. I would have no hesitation bringing them back if ever we need this kind of thing again. read more

I bought a leather chair in Brussels in 2000, and it's had a lot of use and travel. The main problem was where peoples head hit the leather. The hair product ate through the natural leather finish, and to be honest, I thought big pieces would have to be replaced. However, Marc and the team worked their magic and the chair looks like new. He was able to thoroughly clean it and give it a new, but identical finish. I also used their pick up and delivery service, as I have a smaller car. After calculating the rental car charges and mileage, this was nearly as cheap, and much more convenient!~ read more

I contacted European Leather Repair and submitted photos of a heavily damaged chair that someone gave me. There were cat scratches and cracks on the armrest. One of the arms was loose and appeared to Marc told me it needed a full restoration. After they completed the restoration, which cost over $600, he told me they discovered the base of the chair was broken and the part would need to be replaced. The part is an additional $500. It would have been better to buy a secondhand chair! They needed to fully examine the chair to assess the condition before they started the restoration. read more

We were AMAZED! Our Pottery Barn Turner Leather Couch with a burnished leather color had been damaged by kids repetitively pushing on one part (which removed the color). We hired a different leather repair person to color match who has been in the business for over 10 years. He said he was confident he could make it look good. But, he made the issue much worse. He couldn't get the multi-layered color correctly matched and instead we had big blotches of unmatched color on our couch. That's when we called European Leather Repair. Bryan talked us through options, techniques and answered all of our questions. Then, he performed his magic and did an incredible job fixing our couch. My husband has an incredible eye for detail and a VERY high quality bar (which hardly any contractors can meet), but even he was impressed with Bryan's finished product. If I could rate them 10 stars I would. My husband and I have a 16 year old recliner that needed to be restored. I wasn't sure if it could be repaired. The leather was in horrible condition. Bryan worked his magic. It honestly looks like a new chair. We couldn't be more happy with the results. Thank you so much We had previously taken it to a local company that does leather restoration and when it was delivered it was devastating. The color was wrong, the nail heads and been sprayed over, white flecks on the leather and a very dull rough texture. After a couple months it began to crack and peel. When my puppy chewed a sofa cushions on a new Restoration Hardware leather sofa, Restoration Hardware was no help at all. They could not sell me the leather ( had the fabric for fabric furniture) could not recommend a repair co, Etc.You are on your own with their leather furniture.. Thankfully I found European leather. I have used European Leather for two projects. One was to repair some cat scratches to the seat of an antique sofa. Somehow he matched the green color exactly and for exactly the (very reasonable) quote that had been provided. I then asked him to reupholster 4 dining chairs. Again, a very reasonable price and beautiful results including a custom made leather piping. I also appreciate how clearly he explained what he was going to do and why.
