Later he was able to get us a pass so we can go there on our own, too. There never was any pressure to be done selecting the fabrics to start work, and we certainly took our time to find the right colors and materials. Because that selection is very important and he is cognizant of it. When the selection was done, he came to us to pick everything up and did the work quicker than we thought it would have been possible since we extended the scope of the work on the fly: we decided to replace all the existing 23 year old seat and back foam in addition to re-upholstering, also grease up the rotating stools, add nonscratch pads to legs, and apply two layers of Scotchguard. Everything happened smoothly, with wonderful timely communication along the way, and finally delivery with everything carefully wrapped up in plastic for protection. The final result vowed us! If you fall in love with a complex print (like I did) they will need lots of extra to match things up correctly. You're probably going to need to replace some cushions and springs too. However, if you have some well constructed pieces that you've always liked the shape and size of and you've decided to go for it, you better go somewhere they know what they're doing. And that would be Furniture Pros. The sofa and chairs I brought to them were 30 years old and well worn (cats, children, clumsy husband). The pieces came out beyond my wildest expectations. It has been a well-used and well-loved couch. There are photos on my mom and dad after getting engaged on that couch. I opened Christmas presents as a little girl on that couch. My whole family, at one point in their lives, has slept on that couch. It has seen celebrations and illness. And it looked like it. Seriously looked like it. The cushions were under an inch thick, and the once very swanky, mod fabric was threadbare in places. Marie agreed to take a look. I sent photos, but then she actually drove 30+ minutes to where we lived at the time to see the couch in person for a proper assessment. She also brought with her thousands of fabric samples from which to choose. She spent almost two hours with us talking about the job, helping us choose the right fabric, and educating us about upholstery in general. And as if that wasn't enough, she is a genuinely good human to whom you could chat for hours. She glows from the inside. Marie gave us a fair estimate and told us it would be about a month. She was right on time and did AN IMPECCABLE JOB! We couldn't even believe it was the same piece. Yes, she's a perfectionist with fabric (Look at her portfolio to see how she matches intricately detailed fabric seamlessly from cushion to base to piping, etc.), but she is also a true craftsman who went above and beyond. She re-stuffed every inch of eac section rather than just here and there. She put in new springs at the front of each base so the sections are at the right angle for sitting. She reinforced the base of each piece. She Scotch Guarded the whole thing. She even gave me some oil/stain so I could freshen up the coffee and side table bases (glass tops) that my gran bought with the couch. We could not be more thrilled. I highly recommend you use Marie for any upholstery needs. She is an artist and a craftsman and a rad human. Truly, you will be lucky just to meet her.

The cost to repair my video/stereo system was close to $4000 dollars! My experience here cost me almost $7000 dollars and then another $800 to have another shop do a correct repair to my seat. Absolutely the worst experience i have ever had with any business in my entire life. I would be very happy to see Moe and this business go out of business!

I talked to experienced acquaintances who told me not to buy from the dealer, but to get a pro specialist to do the job. I'm so glad I did that. I looked around and got some quotes. I found this place by reputation and they were competitive on price, professional, and knew their business. They helped me with ideas on how to improve the look of the car with chrome blackout and other aesthetic suggestions. They didn't charge much extra for those and really helped me like the look of the car better. They also did some extras gratis. They sent me pictures as they did the job and really helped me to get excited about their excellent work. I enjoyed the car for a year, did the proper care for it by hand washing regularly, reapplying the coating every few washes. Was really blown away at our 1 year appointment--they got a few stains out of the interior for a modest fee and now my car looks like new both inside and out again. The normal fee for the annual appointment to refresh the coating was $165 and they charged me just a fraction of that extra to take care of the minor interior stains and professionally condition the leather. They earned not only their fee but great tips each time I went because they far exceeded my expectations. I'm so happy I chose to give this shop my business.

Joslin Upholstery & Interior contacted me within a day with a quote. When I took my chairs in the service was great! Jack, Pam, and Carol are all friendly, professional, and patient. The selection of fabric can be overwhelming so be prepared to spend hours digging through fabric sample books. I took home a few sample books and spent a week deciding with my wife. Once you decide on the fabric be sure to have your checkbook as a deposit is required before work begins. Three weeks later I went back to pick up my chairs and was amazed. To say that the craftsmanship is top notch is no exaggeration. It's difficult to put into words but everything about the work done screams quality. Now my store bought sofa that lives with these chairs seems horrible in comparison. If you need re upholstery work done do not hesitate to use Joslin's services.
