I brought in 5 pairs of pants to be hemmed. The seamstress was warm and friendly throughout, and I appreciated that. Unfortunately, one pair came back with a noticeable unevenness. When I mentioned it in person, I was told there was no issue -- but when I got home and measured them myself, there was roughly a 1-inch difference between the two legs. For a $300 pair of pants I plan to wear for years, that's not something I can overlook. I wish the hems had simply been measured before being returned to ensure accuracy. I will have to take them elsewhere to be corrected. I hate leaving a critical review because she truly is a lovely person, but I won't be returning and unfortunately cannot recommend this place. I had planned to bring in an additional 10 pairs of pants, but after this experience I'll be taking my business elsewhere. A little quality control would go a long way. read more

Ms. O was great I called yesterday at 11 am to have a suit tailored for a last minute trip. She said no worries just bring it in and we will figure it out. It was me and another customer in the store so I know she had other people to help as well but she altered my suit for me and it was ready by 10 am today when they opened. We discovered this tailor via Yelp a couple years ago after moving to the area. Since then I've used them for multiple formal events (weddings), and the alterations have been high quality, efficient and fairly priced for bridesmaid attire as well as men's suiting. The owner is always very kind and provides excellent service. Most recently, I brought in a designer sweater that had a small hole due to my puppy swiping at me with her paws and the alpaca knit getting caught! I was devastated and unsure if it would be possible to fix. The owner said it wouldn't be a problem and when I came to pick it up, did not charge me anything since the repair was minor. There is nothing better than having a really stressful day, crossing paths with an extraordinary person, and having that stress completely disappear. I was scrambling around this morning, kicking myself for procrastinating on getting ready for a wedding, and desperately trying to figure out what in the world I was going to do about my one baggy shirt, and long suit pants. I needed a same day alteration, but after calling 3 other local tailors, the situation was looking pretty grim. I felt doomed. The panic was really beginning to settle in. But all of that changed once I got on the phone with Olfelia!! I explained what I needed, and all she had to say was "When can you bring it in?" and "I'll see what I can do," which came as such a relief for me. Once I got there, I was even further relieved by her kind smile, and her lighthearted comments about my procrastination. I felt that I was in great hands. It's so special when you meet someone like her, because you can just leave your stress outside. Olfelia's here to gently chastise you (as she should) and everything's gonna be okay. I know so many other reviews talk about how amazing Olfelia is and how they had a really great experience with her incredibly fast, high quality, and affordable work, but I really truly feel like I gained a personal superhero with the way I was saved today.
