I bought a 4 pass from the Highlands Ranch branch last year for my teenage daughter. She was then given a laser machine as a gift and started using it. We got to this summer and she will never need a wax again. It's a lot of money.. I knew, and accepted, that I would not get a refund, but I was refused the option of using the remaining passes myself!! Again, I WAS THE ONE WHO PAID for it. The pros: I was able to get an appointment fairly easily and quickly and my wax was half priced because I was a first-time customer. The staff were friendly and professional and I was seen on time. In the end, the hair that I wanted gone was removed. The cons: The waxing procedure seemed very rushed, and was the most uncomfortable wax I've ever received. It left some purple bruising on the area- which I've never had before- but that disappeared in a few days. First of all, my daughter who just turned 14, wanted to get her naturally beautiful thick eyebrows cleaned. Keyword: Cleaned!!! Being that is was her birthday, I took her in to get her eyebrows waxed. My daughter was assigned to Sandra. Now remember, my daughter is a minor. And if I, her mom were in the room with her, I would've been able to witness her horrific service toward my child and prevented this awful experience. She literally waxed off 99% of my 14yr olds eyebrows, leaving her with an uneven, unbalanced, thin line. Just because Sandra's eyebrows are thin, doesn't mean that a 14yr old wants hers that way. Sandra did not even bother to stop and have a decent conversation with my child, neither did she take the initiative to make her feel comfortable. Or give her confidence that she was in good hands. SANDRA didn't bother to ask my daughter if she wanted her eyebrows cleaned, leaving the natural thickness, or if she wanted her whole eyebrows waxed like her thin lines. The manager called me today and refunded the $20 tip I paid Sandra before this horrific incident. Now, my daughter walks around looking downwards, her confidence stolen. She doesn't want to go to school in person, nor does she want to come out of her room. And she's never like this. She loves fellowship and being out with her family and friends. She's been crying all day. You don't understand how rough life is already for a Preteen/Teen and Sandra had to make life even worse for her, ON HER BIRTHDAY. SANDRA'S CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AWFUL!!! I've never had a bad experience here. The clinicians are always helpful and make what I thought would be a very awkward experience (butterfly position) of getting better a Brazilian wax a totally non-thing. Seriously you don't have to be afraid of getting waxed! Yes it hurts (especially the first time) but the clinicians are so casual and welcoming and it feels very safe/not weird. Also compared to other places European wax is the best as far as quality of waxing. NEVER go somewhere that uses strips!!! It's all about the blue wax. Why 4 instead of 5 stars? Well it's really really expensive. Also as I sit here my appointment was at 10:15 and its 10:30 and I haven't gone in yet.. The front desk lady (Morgan?) was probably the most unfriendly person I have ever encountered. Or maybe it was snooty. I don't know. She had a problem. Fortunately, you can somewhat avoid too much personal contact by scheduling your appointment online. I took a leap of faith coming in here but my last waxing experience at a nail salon hadn't been that great so I figured these people specialize in it, it should be good. I nearly left after meeting Ms. Snotty Pants but decided to hang around because my brows were awfully shaggy. The good news is, my waxer (Dani) was a complete doll and did a fantastic job.The EWC uses a thicker wax that coats nicely and somehow does not really sting when coming off. It's $16 for single brow wax but I think that it's worth it and I will return again for Dani's skilled work. read more

I'm not sure that anyone ever LIKES waxing, but if you need to get delicate body parts waxed, this is the place to do it. The spa is nice and classy, and the aestheticians are all nice. The prices are reasonable, and they even have a first time customer discount/free wax (depending on the service). I had trouble with the online reservation system, but no problems making an appointment on the phone. They do have a bit of a hard sell on their products post-service, but on the other hand, the gel I was persuaded to buy worked, so I can't complain too much. I don't know why this place has anything under than five stars. I am surprised, but I guess people tend to write a reviews on complaints more so than good experiences. It was my first time getting a Brazillian Wax done and my pain tolerance is probably around -6. I was so nervous after reading about Brazilian Waxes online, but I decided to go for it anyways (usually I shave but it grows back way too fast and I get terrible razor burn). I have sensitive skin, low pain tolerance, and I'm super particular about products put on or anything done to my skin anywhere on my body. DANI was my wax specialist and she was AMAZING! So sweet and very professional. I definitely recommend her to anyone who goes to this location. I had such a good experience, very little pain, and I'm impressed with the results. I will be returning in four weeks! One thing that people don't realize is that when getting a Brazilian for the first time, you can't remove a few small hairs here and there. Once you become a regular to Brazilians, all of the hair is removed and it grows back thinner. Dani was super informative, made me feel so comfortable, and I could definitely tell she was experienced/enjoyed talking and working with clients. I have been a loyal customer to EWC for ten years and I am deeply disheartened by my most recent visit on August 7th. I went in for a Brazilian, the same service I have been going to EWC for for the last ten years. I arrived early and was even brought back to my appointment a couple minutes early. I was immediately thrown off by my specialist who seemed so stand-offish, like I had done something wrong. We chatted a bit here and there, which was fine but she definitely seemed like she was in a rush. Clients of EWC know that the wax is directly applied to the area you are getting serviced, which I have always appreciated, but this particular time it seemed like she was yanking the wax off too soon. I could feel my skin being yanked along with it. She kept applying baby powder every few minutes, so I assumed that I had started bleeding in a few areas but I do not know for sure as she did not mention anything. Throughout the entire service, it felt like it was being rushed. I was quite uncomfortable that I just wanted to get out there. After paying and walking to my car, I realized that I was in quite a bit of pain. I gave it some time in hopes that it would subside, but after a few hours, I took a look. My entire area was inflamed, irritated and very uncomfortable. There were spots where my skin had torn and there were spots where it looked like I had been burned. I called and spoke with an employee, I gave him all of the details and he assured me that the owner would reach out to me within two days. I never heard from anyone. I went to the corporate page to reach try and reach out, but I could only type 500 words and could not explain everything there. The pain increased for a couple of days, so much that I almost went to the Urgent Care. I was hoping someone from EWC would reach out to me to at least tell me how to care for this irritation/wounds. The pain continued for a couple of days and then I went to a pharmacy in hopes of finding something that would help the healing process. The pharmacist suggested antibiotic ointment, which I got and applied a couple times per day to the wounds and irritated areas. A week later, the pain is still there but not as bad. I do not appreciate the fact that I can still feel it. After having this service done by EWC for ten years, I could not believe the pain I was experiencing. I had always trusted EWC to have great customer service, and the fact that I never heard back from someone is definitely a bummer. I don't feel like I can return to this establishment. read more

My anniversary was coming up with my husband and I wanted to clean up my Punani before the special day! This was going to be perfect. Less then an hour after my appointment I got a horrible rash! I had gotten bumps all over my Beautiful Flower! I just could not stop scratching and itching! I even tried walking around naked to air it out! My husband was so upset that i couldn't finish during our inter coarse! The sex we had was so un-enjoyable due to the scratching. He even tried to soothe the pain with his hands and mouth and his teeth ! It was particularly good for when he hit some spots BUT I will never be coming back to this place! read more

I got my FIRST Brazilian done here by Sadhana. I made sure to note in my reservation this was my first Brazilian, ever. The receptionist greeted me and made me feel welcome. I waited a few minutes then Sadhans came out to get me. She is the WORST!! She made me feel so uncomfortable and was very impatient even though I told her in the beginning this was my first wax. I've been waxing for years and have had good waxes and bad waxes. The first time I went to Euro Wax Center for a brazillian I was pleased with the results, but not blown away. There was redness and swelling that I usually don't get. The second time I went, the same woman did my waxing. They were super busy and I had to wait 15 min after my appt time, when I had arrived early. My waxer was feeling rushed and I could tell. Her pager went off while we were in session and I could tell she was stressed about getting it done. I asked for my "patch" to be left in a triangle, but when I looked at it after walking out, it looked more like a Hitler Mustache! A sloppy one at that, no real definition of the shape. Also, the redness and swelling lasted for days and I had more ingrown hairs than usual. Two days after the wax, I started seeing stuble grow in. I never call to complain, but I was upset about paying so much for a service and getting my bikini area ruined. When I called they told me there was nothing they could do about it, and asked if I'd like to make another appointment. When I said "no" I either want a refund, or another wax, they told me they would have a manager call me. I never heard from them again. I now have been going to Studio Urban Wax, its cheaper with a no tipping policy and I have had several different "staff" girls do my waxing and it has been as painless as a wax can be with NO redness, swelling, or ingrown hairs (they have great product!). I went in today and the esthetician butchered my eyebrows and they did not look even. we are people who have to look at ourselves everyday, now I have to look at my uneven eyebrows every morning before starting the day, as if its not hard enough being a woman. I've been buying packages here since 2012 and usually have ok service. Today I walked in without an appointment and was treated like a criminal. Two kids were sitting behind the desk, the male didn't even look at me when I walked in only yelled at me "do you have a reservation" I said no so he wasn't interested in looking at me. The girl then told me they didn't have time for me but was talking so fast I couldn't understand her high school voice! I told them I always make an appt. but today just needed it done, the whole time I was there no one walked in our out and they never asked a waxer if they could fit me in. Why do they have a sign that says " walk ins welcome" if they clearly are not? I even asked about canceling my membership and the girl said oh you will just lose 25.00, would you like to cancel now? I feel like this place is hit or miss. I've gone here and had my eyebrows look great afterwards, but the last time I went I actually had to re-wax my eyebrows at home because they were done so poorly. I know that my blonde eyebrows can make it hard to see, but I also have thick hair. I wouldn't be so frustrated but when I asked my waxer to help re-do my eyebrows she seemed... annoyed? I didn't want to deal with telling her that they still needed to be cleaned up because of the way she reacted when I mentioned that they weren't really right. Anyway, I'm not into paying 20 dollars to re-do my eyebrows myself after my appointment. read more

I have been coming to this European Wax location for a long time however today I came into my appointment. I was a late and when I walked in and told them my name, they said I was 16 minutes late and their window was 15 minutes for late arrivals. Not only was I only one minute past the time but I was treated very rudely. They rudely told me that I was too late and there was no possible way to fit me in for the afternoon. When I asked if they could, they didn't even bother checking their computers. When I first walked in they were even telling a girl that they would try to squeeze her in. The girls were very unhelpful with trying to accommodate me and it was almost like they were excited to decline me service. As I said I have been coming to this specific location for a very long time and I have never experienced anything like this. Their attitude makes me want to never come back. read more
