Today I saw Fadoua for both a Brazilian and an underarm wax, and she was wonderful! She - like Michele in Boulder - & I showed each other our vaccination cards, and that helped me feel calm, safe, and at ease from the start. Fadoua did an amazing job with my Brazilian, and was a great conversationalist. She also gave me tips & solutions to prevent ingrown hairs. She recommended avoiding using lotions, as those can trap hair under the skin surface, and to instead build a regimented exfoliation regimen, which admittedly I've resisted doing for years - embarrassingly & regrettably. She made it easy, though! Step 1: Active Body Wash (with gloves) - x3/week Step 2: Sugar Scrub; I chose the Reef scent (with gloves) - daily Step 3: PFB - daily Step 4: No lotion, only use aloe vera & vitamin E (as/if needed) I'll start using the above in 48-hours!

My favorite massage is the combo: 30 minutes reflexology (which includes a scalp and facial massage), and 30 minutes full body. Reflexology and facial massage can help with sinuses. This time, because I was in serious pain, I did the 90-minute combo for $85. Ooooooh. Owwww. The reflexology was wonderful and relaxing--the facial and scalp massage are done while your feet soak in a bucket of hot water--but the bodywork is INTENSE. My pain was mostly concentrated between my shoulder blades, and lower back. Like all Asian massages for pain, the process is painful. The therapist used her elbows on the knots in my shoulders. She found and kneaded out areas of tension. The massage finishes up with hot stones and a wipe with a warm towel to remove the oil. I'll admit that I was kind of happy when it was over, lol. But when it was, I felt SO much better!! I love this place. I hadn't been here in years (Coco Massage, their sister spa, is closer to my house), but they remembered me!
