I have a new aesthetician since my other one left, so far so good. This is my third aesthetician here. The first one did not do a thorough job, the second one left to start her own business, not surprising. (I was with her a couple years). The only thing really bad is the main customer service center - they barely speak English and they always make mistakes on the appointments so I try to make the next appointment each time I'm actually there on location. Issues only occur when I have to make a change to my appointment for some reason with the main customer service which is obviously out of the country. The app also doesn't pick up any appointments made in person or if you are on a package deal. read more

They charged my credit card that was on file $198 without my knowledge. I only authorized a $6 tip which I was also charged. I was shocked when I saw it on my credit card statement. When I called, the manager admitted they made a mistake but said she couldn't refund it as they have a new system that won't let her. She offered me a store credit which I do not want. I just want the money back that they stole from me. After four phone calls and waiting two weeks, I still have not received a call back from the multi-store manager. I ended up having to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I've been going to this location for 12 years and it is evident that they do not value their customers or the law! My advice is to choose another salon and if you do go to EWC, do not let them keep a credit card on file. read more

First off, i switched to this location from my original one because it's a bit closer for me. I walked in at 11:25 for my 11:30 appointment and there was 1 empty chair. I was told I could not sit and wait in the chair. I had to wait in my car! I did not have a vehicle as I was dropped off for my appointment. We are talking five minutes until my appointment. It's not my fault the waxer was not ready. . I was not allowed to sit and wait in an empty chair?! I did not want to wait outside by the liquor store. The receptionist could care less about my safety. I did walk out. She did not care about me at all. Both in front were extremely rude. They talked about payment methods, not even acknowledging that I had prepaid in advance at a different location. I have prepaid way in advance for these appointments you would think they would have the common decency to acknowledge that! , I was honestly taken aback at how Ii was treated. Call me a Karen, I don't care. They were rude and obnoxious. They are just horrible at this location. I'll just go back to the other location, that has different owners apparently. Absolutely horrible. Was really excited because haven't been in a while (became serial shaver due to COVID). Stripped down, got on the bed, spread 'em wide and OUCH!!!! The wax was HOT. I felt like my vag was scorched. She swore that I must be sensitive to the wax and I'm like, no, maybe your settings are way too high (it's funny because when I went to the one in Katy, I did not have this issue). At the end, there was still some hair remaining and she advised me to shave it because if she went over it again, she would cause irritation to my skin. Yeah, that was probably true but too late, on the right side of my inner thigh, it was raw/red. It was a horrible experience. I mean from the wax and to the hair still left. I have ingrown hair bumps, gross and they hurt. Then bummer, a few days later my hubby went and got his waxed from some lady in Spring (man, I should have waited) and he looked like a baby seal. This center just sucks ! I was two mints away and they closed my appointment without any notice. One time I was early and ahead of 3 mints and they didn't let me in. I have to wait in car. First off, she has made me feel comfortable since my very first wax. I refuse to see anyone else because Stephanie is so good at her job!!! She makes sure I'm comfortable the entire session, and she is also very meticulous which results in a great wax! Stephanie is also really honest and never tries to up sell me products I don't need, which I've experienced at other salons. Love this location so far. I usually go to the Copperfield and Champions locations but due to an appointment in the area, I scheduled at the EWC spring cypress location. Booking online was super easy. Once I arrived I was promptly greeted by Jessica, who checked me in and asked me a few initial questions since it was my first time at this location. She then showed me a special they were having that included 2 makeup travel bags and a full size facial exfoliate for $17.50! Original price is $59! Jessica even demonstrated how the exfoliator worked on my hand. It was awesome and smells great! Carolina came right out and took me into the room. She was quick, gentle and efficient. Very thorough. I haven't gone to EWC since 2014, but decided I'd start going back. I originally went to the one in the Vintage, but wasn't sure the waxers were the same (the turnover can be high), so I decided to check out this location and I'm glad I did. Carolina completed my Brazilian wax and she was absolutely wonderful. She worked quickly and carefully, even used tweezers when needed. Waxing is, in its nature, painful but she made it as comfortable as possible. At the end of my appointment, I learned I still had a package that allowed me to get a free wax; I could've paid $0, but opted to tip her $10 anyways! I HIGHLY recommend! read more

When I moved to the Cypress area I was nervous about finding a new waxer that I love but luckily I did not have a problem finding that at this location! I normally go see Kelly who does an amazing job and always takes her time. She does not rush and is very gentle. I also love seeing Dennes when Kelly is not available or if my schedule works better with hers. Would definitely recommend either of these waxers. read more

LOVED STEPHANIE S. i'm not typically one to leave reviews on websites or yelp or anything, and this will actually be my first review ever. i'm 19, i would personally say i have a super low pain tolerance, and i've never had a brazilian wax before. the only experience i've had when it comes to waxing is with my eyebrows and occasionally trying to wax my own legs. i once tried to give myself a brazilian...which did not go well to say the least. i was extremely nervous for the pain level of getting a brazilian done for the first time. i expected to at least cry to be honest, and before having it done i would've guessed the pain level would be around an 8/10. stephanie was absolutely amazing, and the reason i booked her is i decided to read other reviews and saw her name mentioned multiple times. the countless good reviews she has are definitely deserved and accurate. she was extremely kind and comforting. she always kept me informed of what she was doing in the process so i would know what to expect, and offered me a couple seconds to breathe if i needed it, but truly i never really did. it was truly not painful at all. i would honestly rate the pain a solid 4/10. it does sting a little here and there but it truly isn't unbearable and the pain only lasts for a couple of seconds. she also tried to maintain conversation with me especially while going over more sensitive areas to provide distraction, i'm assuming. i was warned by my mother and friends that this would be extremely painful, and honestly walked out confused as to what pain everyone was referring to. if you're thinking about getting a brazilian wax specifically, or any other wax for that matter, GO! and i would 1000% book with stephanie s., she's an absolute sweetheart and is extremely professional and kind. i've already scheduled my next appointment and don't think i'll ever go back to shaving, and this is coming from someone who has shaved for 7 years and has an extremely low pain tolerance. loved it. absolutely recommend this location and stephanie. the lady at the front desk was extremely kind as well. overall wonderful experience and i'm excited to go back. read more

Due to my odd schedule I don't make appointments so usually call an hour ahead or just walk in, risking on getting a new was specialist every single time. I've had 3 different waxers and they have all done a great job! This would be the 4th EWC location I have visited, I kept switching because at other locations, it was hard to get a wax specialist that would not "break off" my hair from the follicle, (the entire hair follicle must come off otherwise you'll start to see re-growth in a few days) By far, the best EWC location.... I think they even hired front desk staff isn't mad at the world or is too pushy - which makes your visit so much better! read more
