DO NOT BOOK MORIAH! I had to still go home and shave. I've only been here 2x and will not be back again. My 1st time wax was with Antoinette. She was nice and very understanding when it came down to my wax needs being met. On the other hand, my 2nd experience was with Moriah and it was very distasteful. She has awful customer service. I booked a stomach strip and keep in mind my hair grows in a vertical line. Antoinette did a vertical strip and Moriah did an unnecessary horizontal strip in an area where there's no hair growth. I mentioned it to her and she told me she would have to charge me for a stomach full for the 10 (I counted them) hairs around/above my belly button. I was flabbergasted and immediately grew upset due to the difference in stomach strips and the fact that she was unwilling to accommodate me. Especially, being there's no option for upper stomach. She then asked me to leave without finishing my service because I was trying to tell her about my hair growth. She then rudely asked me if I went to esthetician school. I may look young, but I'm a college graduate and current dental student. My academics far exceeds esthetician school. I refrained from putting her in her place and making a scene after she insulted my intelligence. Instead, she received no tip, lost a customer and received a bad review. I recommend finding a personal esthetician, as I will be going back to mines. If not, Antoinette is your best bet or even brazils waxing center. read more

i really like this place because the way they wax your eyebrows is different compared to other places; the wax is much less irritating and it does not hurt as much. the service was also really good the lady was nice to me and explained a lot of things about waxing that i did not know before. the only thing is this place is really expensive when compared to a typical eyebrow threading or waxing place, so i dont know for sure if I would go there all the time to get my eyebrows done, but if you can afford it it's definitely worth it read more

I love that the first wax was free. I got a Brazilian done by my friend, Julia. She was so sweet, patient, and did a great job. She was gentle and took it slow since it was my first time. She is just a beginner, it was literally her third day there but she is a PRO! She did an amazing job and my looks amazing! So smooth, soft, and beautiful. I will definitely go again the future. So. Bad. I've been to a European Wax Center before (in Estero) and was a loyal customer to them. When I made the move to Gainesville about a year ago this place didn't exist (or so I believe), and when I realized there was one so close to campus I decided to make an appointment. Chelsea completely messed up my brows. I've never seen brows so uneven, or misshaped. She completely removed half of my tail end, the lines aren't straight, and the other eyebrow had so many stray hairs around the tail end. The front desk pulled a "your brows look great!" when anyone can see they're extremely uneven and a poor job. Next time when your coworker messes up offer a discount or waive the cost instead of making me pay the full amount. I've attached my brows without product before the wax, and a picture of them now. I used to go to EWC in Gainesville, FL back when Nyia was there. She was the absolute best, but then I was told she was no longer there so I quit going for a while. Finally went back and had my appointment with Antionette. She was friendly. However, the wax and the experience itself was not great at all. She didn't do anything to ease the pain (like adding pressure, etc), barely spoke, left many hairs (didn't even tweeze them out), and completely skipped the middle leaving many hairs. Very disappointed and upset that I spent over $100 on this wax and it's barely subpar. read more

Antoinette was a great waxer, really fast, and I had minimal ingrowns because she explained exactly how to take care of my skin post wax. The most irritating part was the fact that when I was checking out, the front desk person tried to talk me into buying a million and one things. I said no to like five things and she kept trying to sell me packages. Overall, I would probably go back for the wax, but the price of the wax and the front desk service was such a turn off. read more

Ok I used to go to Antoinette and she was so fire. Literally she's so nice and I never got ingrowns or anything. I was lit. THEN. I left for summer and came back. They told me otp that my appt was w Antoinette and then it was w another girl. Which is fine. Also so nice. But then she got wax literally like stuck in my b***hole. Like I'm not kidding. So this was my first time...& it hurt like a *insert profanity of choice* Lmao Was clean and waxer did not double dip. She was also very gentle. Front desk lady was super nice! However I currently have left over wax on my vagina, not my favorite. Also I thought I got a Brazilian, however this does not include your inner thighs or any hair below your belly button. I've gone with friends before...& usually they take all of that hair. So I wasn't a fan of paying extra for the few hairs on my inner thighs.... read more

This was my first time at a European Wax Center and I was impressed. The location is perfect in Butler Plaza and the building is completely new. The wax center is very clean and the workers are professional. They have special rates for students, brides, and military. I think this location will do really well! read more

I have been to several locations in Florida, but this location by far has a lack of customer care and customer urgency, they never call to confirm appointment nor updated your info when mentioned to do soo, I would rather drive 1 1/2 away due to the poor service they had rescheduled me twice already, the first time I drove 45 min to the shop to be told that my waxer had called out I had rescheduled for 4 days later to be actually called again to cancel my appointment due to having to sanitize, I get most of it , but location should had to be a lot more prepared , poor management .. read more

I've been going to European Wax Center for three years in Miami and just started going to them here because I've moved up for school. I was not happy with Chelsea's work. She was not friendly. When I told her the wax was too hot she just continued to keep waxing me without saying anything. Just ok...I went in for an eyebrow wax, the lady at the front desk was nice but my waxer was not friendly at all, barely said a word to me. My eyebrows turned out ok, with no redness which is awesome, but she left pieces of the cotton pad on my face and some wax in my baby hairs. I would go back, but only with a different person. Chelsea is awesome! I've gotten two Brazilians from her so far and she does an AMAZING job. Every other time I've gotten a Brazilian (which is 15+ times), I've had some sort of rash or bumps, ingrown hairs, or some missed spots, but Chelsea's work has ended up perfect each time. She is friendly, quick, and thorough and will pleasantly chat with you to distract you from the pain. Highly recommend her! read more

The place itself is nice and clean and the front desk ladies were super nice but the lady that gave me my brazilian wax was not friendly at all. first of all, she never introduced herself or smiled at all. she didn't leave the room when I got undressed which I thought was a little weird and they didn't have a smock or anything for me to wear which also was a little weird. she was hasty and rough and the wax was really hot. in my opinion, if you need a brazilian wax, go somewhere else. they don't seem to value their clients and the odds of me going back there are slim to none. read more
