Kaleena was not satisfactory in customer service. I showed up and a different Waxer was assigned to me than requested. I explained my concern and inconvenience and she also said she was inconvenienced. No accountability or empathy was considered. I have been a customer for years and always purchase a membership. I was really upset by the experience. My concern was I don't want someone who has never waxed me to wax me because I'm not sure if they are experienced. She mentioned that I have canceled a lot of appointments in the past, and my last appointment was at another location. I've never had this experience at European wax center. read more

My daughters went to get their brows waxed and one of them had some skin pulled off her eyelid that scabbed. I don't know if the wax was too hot or what it was..but we thought it was that her skin was too sensitive, so a few days later , I went in to get my brows waxed and the same thing happened to me. I felt a sharper then usual pain when the wax was pulled off...burning and it really hurt. I didn't say anything...but at that point...it's too late. I thought it would just be red...but it scabbed up my eye too. Not very happy that we paid to be injured. My daughters eye still looks terrible five days later. They are very nice, but maybe they need some additional training to learn how to pull the wax off without taking your skin with it. I did notice they didn't put powder on my kids like they usually do before waxing. When they do that..I don't usually have a problem. This is our last visit. I'm giving 4 stars strictly for AMBER. Don't know the technical name but she is the wax specialist that I prefer at this location. I've been here atleast twice before and she happened to do my wax both times. She is young, professional, and gives great service. I will be sure to request her every single time. I came today for my appointment and was matched with Cynthia. After a couple of minutes through my Brazilian wax appt today Cynthia decided that she didn't want to wax me anymore and canceled the appt. I decided to come back late that day to see if amber (who has waxed me in the past) would be able to wax me. Whenever I came back amber was able to wax my cooter without any problems. I had a 12 noon appointment, I called and informed that I'll be few minutes late. I was then told as long as I get there within the 9 minute grace period that they should be able to do the services. I got there right at 12:09 and was declined service, so what was the point of me calling ahead to make sure I wasn't wasting time and gas. They should make it clear before you come in that this is a "speed waxing" place. I got a Brazilian wax and it Honestly hurt way more than when I've been to other places. The service felt rushed and I felt like usually they wax smaller sections at a time but this time it was larger areas and therefore made it hurt more. She dropped the wax on my hair root while she doing my eyebrows so i had to cut my hair. The Manager who has a purple hair did not know how to manage a schedule and how to take care of their customers. After they have ruined my hair they did not even apologized they were so careless. Overall, this location's team did not show hard work or put any effort to make things better. I am not sure if they hiring experienced staff or certified people. Waxing requires a special skill. Courteous employees, from the receptionists to the estheticians. I never had any kind of waxing done before setting up an appointment at this location. From the moment I step in, the receptionist greets me and checks me in. I've yet to have any issues with rescheduling appointments whenever warranted due to circumstances beyond my control. Was 7 minutes past my appointment (that have a 9 min grace period). I waited behind a lady making multiple payments (not sure what the difficulty was). When lady was finished paying finally it was 11 mins after. I know times are accurate according to my cell phone. I let lady know I was there within grace period. Decided I would give this location another chance even though I had a bad wax a few months ago. I made my appointment two days ago because my schedule is packed and I needed an appointment at 9 AM. Unfortunately, I get there this morning and no one can even get inside as they don't have keys. I call the location so I can get through to a call center, and apparently they 'tried to call everyone to reschedule because they could not open today until 10 AM' and would I like to schedule for another day? I went a couple of weeks ago to get both legs, armpits and bikini line waxed. Jamila did my waxing and she was awesome! She made me feel at ease and was easy to talk to. She also did a good job with completely removing hair from my legs and armpits. There was no wait when I got there. The total time for waxing was about 30 - 45 minutes. The only complaint that I have is that there are no towels to put over you. I was pretty much butt naked on the table. It was also cold in there too. It's been awhile since I've been to European wax but I really thought that the last time I went I had a towel over me. All in all I will definitely return back to this location. read more

WORST experience with waxing, ever. Monica did my waxing and she was so brash and her whole demeanor was rude. Did not make me feel comfortable, did not ask if I was ready to start, talked to me like I was stupid when I told her the second strip was hot. She continued to ignore me telling her the wax was hot, saying "it just feels warmer after the first one". I have waxed before, I know the difference between warm and hot. She pulled in multiple directions, missing a lot of hairs which she did not go back to remove. And I have NEVER had the labia portion waxed on both sides in one go. She put the wax (which was hot yet again) on both sides and pulled both at the same time. My skin was red and irritated for more than 2 days, and felt bruised to the touch. I was in and out of the center in all of 10 mins. Service and experience was NOT worth my money. I DO NOT recommend this center. NEVER coming back. read more

I have been going to EWC for almost 2 years now. All the service providers are awesome however the front desk girls could use some training on customer service. I made an appointment today and the young lady, Ashley who answered my phone call was rude and very unprofessional and who ever is in charge of hiring these young ladies really should consider the fact that they are the first people we see and the last.
