It could have been so much better. I've gotten bikini waxes since I was 16, so I know the drill. When I went, and they had just opened, I understood some bumps would happen. My waxer did not know what she was doing. When I got home, it was clear that she had not finished. There was still a lot of hair on my bikini line. I also expected a discount because it was my first time there, but I didn't. Finally, the entire time they were trying to sell me something. I know places like that they kind of do. I'm here for it! I got a full bikini and I'll be honest, there were a few strips that sucked but I fell out of my wax routine and my hair cycles are all over the place. Sawyer was a sweetheart and she was super thorough and I love her energy! The whole process was quick and mostly pain free...let's be real waxing is different for everyone so there may or may not be some pain. Earlier this month I contacted the shop on west Dodge regarding a Brazilian wax. I was put at ease very quickly by the lady I spoke with. Being a man, I wasn't sure how I would be greeted. She was very helpful. I was directed to contact the legacy location as there is only one person on the staff that does men. I made the appointment for late that afternoon. Upon my arrival I was warmly greeted and took a seat. I was early so I was expecting a wait. I don't think it was more than 5-10 minutes. Ellie, the lady who did the waxing, greeted me, and invited me to the room. She was kind, and very professional. After doing my eyebrows she continued to the Brazilian waxing. The last time I had waxing done it took a fair amount of time. Ellie explained about the hard wax vs the soft wax and how there is no need for the cloth strips. That proved to be fantastic. She was very efficient and was finished much quicker than I remembered. Although waxing does sting, having it done quickly and without having to go over spots more than once makes the procedure much more pleasant. To finish our time together Ellie explained the best suited products to use. In the end not only did I purchase products but also paid for 12 more waxing appointments. I am so pleased with the results and with the staff. They should be commended! read more

Solid waxing center, but really nothing special. It's a nationwide chain so it's very standardized and you know exactly what to expect. Wax passes are definitely the most economical way to do things and you should wax regularly anyway. read more

Heard about this place from some friends so decided to give it a try, and ended up getting overcharged by $30. Service was fine until the end when they asked for a tip, I said $5 and instead, they type in 30 DOLLARS. I am UNABLE to see the TOTAL AMOUNT OR BREAKDOWN OF THE TOTAL on any screen and just authorize the amount. When I get home, I look at my bank statements and see that I was overcharged and call them to check. The first time, the girl tells me "no we correctly charged you and gave you the 50% off so I can't help you," the second time I point out that they charged a 86% tip then apologize and get a hold of the manager. An hour later they call back and tell me that they are UNABLE TO REFUND BECAUSE I PAID WITH A CARD. I have to mention I called 4 hours after my appt and the charge was still pending and the register was not yet closed. In all 4 years of my retail experience--corporate and local--this is the first time I've heard of a company UNABLE TO GIVE REFUNDS WITH CARDS. All I get in return is a "the company and we apologize. Have a good day." This was the most unpleasant experience I have had and am not going to return to any EWC. I also filed a Dispute because this is unacceptable. Had high expectations and EWC did not deliver. read more

I convinced my fiancé to get a Brazilian with me so we both did. Mine was pretty good but there was wax leftover and she did tell me she can't guarantee full hair removal since its been a minute since my last one. However other wax places will tweeze pesky hairs so that you get the Brazilian you paid for so that was confusing to me. My fiancés was worse than mine (this was his first time) but it wasn't because it was painful it's because they removed skin from delicate areas. She did inform him that some spots will be more red than usual and that just means that no hair will grow there anymore. I read some reviews concerning that this place is all about speed and I can definitely see that. This place is more expensive (around $76 each not including all the things they try to sell you the whole time) than the one I used to go to ($39+ tip) and maybe that's because the service also includes skin removal. Be careful here. When googling "why am I missing skin after wax" the reasons were either poor waxing technique and/or cheap wax. Please beware I would love to add a photo but... read more

this place is so clean and everyone is so professional helpful and nice. I was given a breakdown of my charges in a receipt and told my total before AND after the tip I gave to my Waxer. This was my first time ever getting waxed and the woman up front seemed just as knowledgeable about products as the Waxer was.
