Finally got in for my Brazilian after this 2 month quarantine and was seen by Sharon. Sharon was so friendly and got the job done right & quickly making me feel brand new and ready to go out there for bikini season. I enjoyed her amazing customer service and positive attitude, very relatable. I don't typically go to this salon as I live in the east valley but they got me in after calling 15mins in advance! You do have to wear a mask, wait outside until they are ready for you and they ask that you sanitize you're hands once you enter. read more

I've been coming here for awhile. I've never had a bad service.... all the techs are very good. I can't stand now is the text and wait. So annoying. Don't see why we can't wait inside. Clearly we can sit 6 feet apart and have at least 3 people wait. I understand no walk in service... which should be posted on the door. But all the signs and STOP etc is just a little over kill. Four wax services as always, the same ones all the time. Always book ahead normally on time, but today was an abnormal time for me and I squeaked in just on the nine minute mark. And every location has the rule that you were allowed to be late up to nine minutes. on my arrival, my waxer told me that she was unable to do my complete wax because I was late. I would have to drop 1 or 2 of my waxes. if you rebook for a different day, then that offsets your entire routine, and I am not prepared to do that ever. For two years I have been very dedicated to the same person to the same location and 99.9% of the time I am on time. But the one time I am just borderline within the time zone. I am told no. Three weeks ago when I was in there I had to wait 20 minutes because the person before me arrived at the nine minute mark, therefore, they were still allowed to get their wax done; and I had to wait. I had to wait 20 minutes which meant they pushed my appointment out by 10 mins with out my ok due to the 9 min rule. But today they told me that because I was on the nine minute mark I couldn't get all my services done because the next person couldn't wait, it is unfair to me and I will never step foot in that location again. You fully except me to wait and fall into line when you allow others to be late, but when I do it you promptly shame me. You just lost a very loyal customer that spent allot of money and tipped very well. I'll never be back and I will advise my friends that go there as well what happened. read more

Ummmm.... She took off the ends of my eyebrows... I asked for a simple clean up and to highlight my brow definition. I have been going to European Wax Center for 7 years for my brows and have always said the same thing and have always gotten what I need. At the end when she gave me the mirror I immediately noticed and said something. And her response to me was "no there was like 2 hairs there so I just took it off" Those "two" hairs (it wasn't just two hairs) are what gave my eyebrows the perfect amount of length and were very clearly apart of my brow and shape. Seriously so confused why any professional would opt for removing especially without asking. Also didn't appreciate her attitude and denial. Anyways, those hairs will be dearly missed read more

Location staff did not call to advise 345 appt would not be able to be fulfilled for facial due to parts that were known to be broken; as front desk girl conflicted her statements and advised they should have parts in tomorrow and offered to reschedule me for then. I asked why they didn't call to cancel and she said they just realized there was an issue like 2 seconds ago... none of it makes sense. I am appalled that I was permitted to book this appointment online and that it wasn't cancelled on their end, even if the system did allow me to book something they couldn't perform. I regrettably wasted 25 minutes driving each way here plus gas. (That's an hour + of my life that I won't get back, and driving to and from in rush hour traffic, mind you) Obviously I was shocked upon arriving, checking in on the app, and walking in only to be told "I'm so sorry", instead of them offering ANY type of courtesy anything, for the HUMUNGOUS INCONVENIENCE and waste that I had just incurred. (In this situation, offering a gesture of complimentary products/services etc would have helped buffer the shock and dismay, and following poor review -- as they could have seen from my account, I've spent plenty of money with EWC and their location over a decade++ so something like that definitely could have been appropriate) While it should go without saying, let me be clear, as a very regular client of EWC's, I am exceptionally and extremely disappointed in today's service experience. 0 stars. read more

I am not the one to leave bad Reviews for anybody, but this Hass to be the worst European wax center ever, I've been going here for years I never had a problem at any location but I live near this certain location and I came to get my brows and lip done for my nephews engagement party, I kept telling The lady The wax is too hot!! Multiple times she was not listening, forget the fact that she barely even took any hair off my brows fine, no big deal I can tweeze more myself at home when she was doing my lip, from how hot the wax was it literally burned my lip and I literally have a scar! I called to the store asking them to file a complaint corporate has never called me back it has been two weeks I called them twice about the situation horrible location I will be getting my lawyer on the situation. read more

I would give it zero stars if possible. This center has been horrible to contact, they charged me for a pass I never used. They processed 2 charges to my account without consent & did not fully refund them. I have attempted to reach out multiple times but have not had any luck getting to speak to a manager. I have spoke to someone via Facebook and multiple times called the center. Do not recommend this location and it is such a horrible experience not being able to reach "upper management " . i went into for just a simple eyebrow clean up on 9/17/22. i was paired up with shannon. i honestly thing she did a really bad job. she did not clean up my eyebrows, pinched me twice hard with the tweezers, and somehow there is a chunk of my eyebrow missing.... i have scabs and bumps from the brow wax. honestly horrified on how my brows look but hopefully they grow back. my eyebrows are still sore from saturday as well. read more

Sharon is the GOAT! (Greatest of all time) She makes the Brazilian wax experience a breeze. Ingrown hairs have always been an issue for me but with her magic touch and product suggestions they have DISAPPEARED! Even my fiancé uses the products I bring home and his ingrown hairs and hyperpigmentation has subsided substantially. The girls at the front are always sweet! I've gone to other locations where the front desk girls just seem like they hate their job. This location has the BEST employees! Also love that Sharon, when recommending products, isn't just like "here use this it's good" she EDUCATES clients on ingredients and how to use it for the best results. read more

I love this location. You are provably asking why...well location is everything for a business to thrive. This location is nestled in the busy intersection of 16th st and Camelback. I usually make an appoint during my lunch hours for a was and they always seem to get me in and are always flexible. The establishment is clean and everyone there is professional. They really need to do something about the front desk customer service apparently I called to book as I haven't been to European wax center in years ( found someone better but she moved out of state ) . So I called cause I couldn't remember my profile email. Briana answers the phone * I hear someone walking in because she greets them as I'm talking & then interrupts my question to abruptly say hold on* before I could finish talking I hear hold music. I still booked. Fast fwd to 10 min ago I need to be moved up something came up so I call back and they couldn't move me up which is fine so the girl (this one didn't give a name) says she will transfer me to the Bell location and hangs up instead. Haha I call the Bell location and get a " It's a wonderful day @ European Wax Center"! She listened to my concerns and even conversed with me about them not just oh ya ya we will take care of you ppl do to rush you off the phone. The camelback location should take some notes from the Bell location. read more

This is by far the worse European wax center I've visited since I started coming in 2011. The front desk Doeminique has horrible customer service skills, especially to be "right under the manager" in her words. She is rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. The front desk will definitely affect revenue long term here. Okay. So I went back in today and Domeinique was there and apologized. Phenomenal! Lesley did my waxing and was amazing!! If you're looking to get waxed please support local business waxers, they're knowledgeable and actually wax with care. I've been to EWC plenty of times and either they burn me, rip my hair off slow, and don't get all the hair. Then have the audacity to ask for a tip. Iwas always wondering why the top after my Brazilian was always sore I thought it was normal. Ever since I found a small business waxer I no longer get the unpleasant soreness after a Brazilian, it actually feels nice getting a wax now! read more

I had an amazing experience here! It was my first time at a European Wax Center. I'm a medical traveler and being away from and needing to maintain myself care, I was looking for a good place while not at home. I was greeted and tended to as soon as I walked through the door but the very friendly front desk staff. Tatum was my wax specialist for the appointment. She was absolutely amazing. I've gotten my eyebrows and upper lip waxed before, but this was my first time getting a Brazilian wax. She explained everything as she was doing it, and made sure I was comfortable. We had such a good conversation during the waxing which made it go by so quickly. She recommend products to help with certain issues after, and the front desk was very helpful when checking out as well. I highly recommend this place. Le Sigh. I left my appointment feeling rather disappointed. The service here is subpar & I will not be returning. I made a reservation online for an eyebrow wax appointment. I arrived two minutes early & checked-in but I had to wait an additional 13 minutes before the lady came to take me to my room. I'm not sure of her name, as it was never provided. My eyebrows turned out okay, but it was just a clean up & not a super smooth experience. At check-out, the girl behind the counter was being rather pushy. She offered me three different packages to which I politely declined. After the first offer, I told her that I only wax every couple of years so it would not be necessary. Yet she continued to offer. It just feels uncomfortable to have to keep saying no & explaining myself. Definitely left a bitter taste in my mouth for this location. Next time I will have to do my research. read more

Had an appt that was unsatisfactory ... after I got home, I realized she missed a ton of hair. Zero attention to detail. Called to complain and was told the manager wasn't in but would get back to me within 48 hours. It's been over a week ... nothing. Called again today and was told the manager "just stepped out." I asked if she would be back today and was told "we don't know." Doesn't seem like there's actually a manager at this location. And if there is, she sure doesn't care about customer service or satisfaction. I paid $70 plus tip and had to tweeze half of it myself.... I bought $500 credit in advance. then due to the covid, I could not use them in California with address 810 El Paseo De\, Saratoga, 95130, United States" I contacted them and told them that I am leaving California for Arizona. They told me I could use the service everywhere. Also, they gave me a paper credit that I can have the money as a credit to use on any services service that I wish. Now I am in Arizona, trying to use the credit; however, they won't let me because they believe the credit is only for that location in California. This is nonsense since you are a branch system. beside. At the beginning of shopping, I asked them before buying $500 credit whether I can use the credit in every location of them. The answer was positive I can. Now when I call the location in California saratoga, there is no one to respond. I need either permission to use the credit or my money back. read more

EWC offers some screaming deals for first time customers. I loved how immaculate the place is, really great first impression. The receptionist was a total sweetheart, she warmly greeted each customer that walked in. I just got back from my first wax at EWC. The front desk was very nice, everyone was very nice. I really liked my waxer as a person, but she was not very thorough. It was my first time there, but I had been going to another waxing spot. Even though your first "bikini line" wax is free, I paid a little extra to get a "full wax" (+$16) and the "inner thigh" (+15). Despite getting these add ons, I still had a lot of hair left over and A LOT of wax. So much so, that I thought about using Nair when I got home. I didn't b/c I know that I'd be hyper sensitive right now, but I really wanted to since there was so much hair left over. I know that each esthetician is different, so I am going to give them one more chance with another esthetician, but I was disappointed. I did like the use of the different gels to reduce ingrown hairs and such and will report back later if they actually work. read more

I've been coming here since 2014. They have great waxers and very pleasant staff. The wax they use is great. I took my 11 year old daughter to get her eyebrows done and she seen Rae.
