the employee did not listen at all to what i had said as well as showed her numerous times. she just seemed in a rush and then proceeded to tell me she felt it may look weird as i requested my eyebrows thin. i feel if im paying for the service then it should be what i request. i was very kind and patient, but after numerous failed attempts to meet my request it became ridiculous. i had to get them waxed elsewhere after my appointment due to there not being any noticeable change in my eyebrows. there was more wax on my eyelashes then my eyebrows. read more

I came into tulsa for the weekend and was in dire need of an eyebrow wax. I called them and ask if they take walkins. They normally dont, but they had an opening right then, so I was able to walk in. My first was was free, which was really cool! They have a lot of products and services that they use. My wax consultant was amazing. She did a great job on my eyebrows. She also convinced me to wax my nose hair too, which was a really weird experience, but I'm glad I did it. I would definitely be a regular if I lived in Tulsa. read more

I think highly of European Wax Centers because I had great experiences in their Houston locations. My impression of them is that they are very clean, modern and professional so I always recommend them to my friends. When looking for a place in Tulsa, I was obviously excited to find an EWC here. I've been able to make appointments the same day I call them and with my hectic schedule, I really appreciate them fitting me in. That's one of the main things I absolutely love about them. They manage their appointments well giving call reminders and are updating the schedule constantly in case of cancellations. Jill is very friendly over the phone too. You should be able to make appointments online soon but their site has been down for maintenance for a while... They have always been punctual with my appointments. FYI, I think 9 minutes after your appointment is considered a 'no show', so if you're a bit late or stuck in the construction zone on 71st, just give them a call as a heads up. They'll still take you in, but appreciate you letting them know so they plan their appointments accordingly. The girls at the front desk are nice and friendly, welcoming you and checking you in. There are usually two girls up front. Only once have I seen only one girl and it did become a bit frustrating that she was too busy calling people reminding them about their appointments while there were people waiting unattended. But I guess she did what she could...she did acknowledge and apologize for the wait. Now, with these kind of services (and other things in life), it's all about finding the right person. The first time I went it was absolute torture and it felt like it took forever. The girl didn't seem to know what she was doing. I found out that she had been working there only for a couple of weeks. While she had previous waxing experience, the wax and technique they use here is a bit different than others so maybe that is what threw her off. They use hard beeswax instead of strips so it's less painful and doesn't stick to the skin nor irritates it. I was so close to asking her not to finish (the paper they use to cover kept getting adhered to my skin and THAT was the most painful part, not the waxing itself) but I figured she had to get experience somehow and sacrificed myself for the common good (you're welcome!). Plus I would've felt bad. She was very friendly...Instead I stuck it through and told her I didn't have enough time for her to finish the other areas (smooth, I know). She also seemed to be confused about the difference between a bikini line, bikini full and a Brazilian but in my case that day I was not complaining. Thankfully I had much better luck the second time around. Book with Stacy! She's great! She does a clean and amazing job plus she doesn't make you feel weird at all. I will trust no one else but her to wax my lady goods! Kidding... I'm sure there are other girls there that are great too but I'll try to stick with her. The only thing I wish they would change is their use of medical paper to lay down on; something more sturdy (maybe towels?) would be much better. As far as prices, I think they're very reasonable, especially if you purchase their "wax packages". They also sell some products, including the ones they use during the appointment. I would say their serum and exfoliator are a must. Give them a try and you'll never go anywhere else! read more

I've been here before and didn't have a terrible experience. It was quick, no small talk, she didn't even ask me my name, she just went at it.... This last time I went was a different story. 10/10/16 Through the power of the internet, I have found Laney. I've only ever seen 3 people who were not Laney at EWC. The first one gave me the most painful waxing experience I've ever had in my life. Several times, she did not wait for the wax to cool before she started to peel. One was OK, but I've had better. I arrived for my appointment about 5 minutes early. My first impression was the reception staff was a little rude. I was asked my name and appointment time with no eye contact and several other clients standing at the desk. I sat down and waited. Once the other two guest had checked out, I was asked to come back up to the counter. I was given an overwhelming overview of the packages I could purchase and walked through the products they sale. I was also handed a booklet. I sat back down and waited for the technician. The waiting area is small, but clean. Crystal is the reason for my 5 stars. When it was my turn, Crystal came out and took me back. She had me remove the clothing covering the area being waxed. She explained the steps as she prepped the area. She then got to work. She talked to me during the entire process which made it go by much faster. She is very nice and professional. It was over pretty quickly. I have been waxing for years. I've purchased two wax passes from this place because It is cost effective. But I would rather spend $800 a wax than ever experience another wax from this place again. I've been lucky to find two really good waxers here, Lilly and Dolly. Unfortunately they both have quit. Company seems to have a high turn around. This place is basically a mill. They are turning over clients as fast as possible. One of the employees told me they have 15min per client and you should ask for "extra time" if you need it. Since Dolly quit I've tried two other waxers. Last experience was bad but no where near like today. I asked over the phone for the most experienced waxer and assumed that's what I got. She rushed And caused me so much pain. I've never almost jumped off a table like I did today. She didnt allow Enough time for the wax to harden and was pulling goopy wax which required multiple pulls. She did not anchor my skin. I thought she was going to rip my lady parts right off. I will never go back again. I'm going to find a private business that books 30min appointments. I'd rather give my money to them than a place like this ever again read more

I had the worst experience after spending money tipping buying product the manager Brooke canceled my appointment (by calling having her staff call me ) because her staff scheduled my appointment wrong but i don't understand why I had to cancel and that wasn't my fault she proceeds to tell me I get a touch up every time I come as if I don't pay for services and it's not policy you can get a touch she said no one has came for touch ups as much as me .
