We went in yesterday which was a Sunday, we are regulars, myself I always make an appointment with Vy which is amazing!! My daughter had another lady which was in a hurry and not the nicest, after she was done she was checking over her nails as we all do there was a nail that was separating from her real nail and asked her to fix it. Another lady approached her and was very mean and was very aggressive with her hand and did a terrible job. Some of these ladies in this shop are just the worst. Also there were so many of the workers kids in the back screaming and yelling so loud you couldn't even enjoy being there the vibe in this today was just terrible. I just don't know if we will be coming back. Just being warned ladies. read more

The service at Oscar's Nail Salon has deteriorated drastically. I have been going there for a few years. I got a pedicure in October and the cuticle was nicked and caused an infection. I recently went for a pedicure (I know not smart) and tried to communicate what had previously happened. A waste of time. I had always used Loan and she left a few months ago. Loan was excellent and took good care of her customers. I don't think the tools used are autoclaved /sterilized as they should be. I will not be going back to this salon. read more

Definitely not coming back. It seems they just want to do it fast and be done I wasn't able to relax. They burned my feet and never asked if I was comfortable with hot towels or the burning stones or the hot wax. I'm afraid to say they might not even sanitize the utensils which made me want to cry when I saw the leafy going to the next customer with same utensils. Not a good experience. read more

Pros: My friends and I are regulars here. This is where we go once every 3 weeks. I get the 3rd level of pedicure (can't remember what it is called). Comes with massage, scrub, and paraffin wax. A very relaxing experience. Great service. Accepts credit cards. Punch card. Cons: This place is a couple dollars more expensive than other places in town. But I'm willing to pay that cause this place seems cleaner than those others. This is totally not their fault. I got hooked on having my nails dipped for several months. However, my workplace recently passed a new regulation banning shellac, dip, or acrylics. When I took off my dip, my nails were all weak and yellow. They break or bend easily now. It's awful. I've been coming to get regular manicures just to hide my hideous nails. read more

Well... this experience was interesting, to say the least. I arrived at 10:30 on a Sunday to get a fill before I had to go to work. I wouldn't typically show up right when they open, but this was one of the only open places and it was close to me. A lot of other people had the same idea, as I walked in and the place already had several guests getting pedicures. I waited for about 20 minutes, I was the only person at the manicure table. The man who did my nails arrived, sat down and got to work. He was very rough with my nails. He used the drill at a high rate of speed, he filed my nails so harshly yet still left the corners sharp, he was answering a phone call several times. He just seemed irritated and like he didn't want to be there, and was taking it out on my nails lol. I also observed a young man wiping off tools with a regular towel, and then placing them into the plastic sealed bags. The one that is supposed to have clean, sanitized tools in it! That turned me off so quick to this place. My nails ended up uneven and lumpy. I went ahead and paid and left because I needed to get to work. I won't return to this nail salon, they don't have safe practices. read more

I enjoy being pampered when I go to Oscar's. They do quality work and are very pleasant.

I called this establishment at 11:25 am and set an appointment for 1:00 pm because they were busy. I get there and was seated within 5 minutes of arrival. I sat for 30 minutes waiting patiently, I get they're busy.. two other people showed up 5 minutes later and were helped IMMEDIATELY. I ended up waiting 45 minutes total when I finally got up and asked the young kid (that I set my appointment up with) the situation. He wouldn't look me in the face once and kept saying "i understand that. It's easier to get an appointment if you have a specific nail tech", essentially blaming his shortsighted mess up on me. Didn't apologize once until I mentioned to him that he didn't. Very very VERY POOR SERVICE. If I would've been treated like a human being I wouldn't be so upset I will say that the nail service I had received the past couple of months I've been going was phenomenal and I enjoyed going there. HORRIBLE. cut them way to short when that is not what i asked for, I asked for a french tip and he did them so awful, didn't do the shape i asked for at first and then SLAMMED his stuff back down to fix it, there was bubbles and chips ALL OVER my nails! I DONT RECOMMEND NEVER GO HERE read more

Customer Service is nice. The employees are generally non-English speaking, which makes communication tough. But everyone is very courteous. The salon is well maintained and clean. They take their time and aim to please. However, on our second visit, my daughter had a bad experience with the waxing part of the salon.... I'm not sure the lady knew what she was doing at all because she literally ripped my daughter's skin off her forehead and eyelids. We couldn't tell until we got home but it looks as if she has 2nd degree burns all around her eyes. She's been so traumatized that she's sworn off ever getting her eyebrows done again. I just hope she doesn't have any permanent scarring. I had my eyebrows waxed in the same day but by a different lady so mine turned out fine. read more

I WILL NOT go back. First I was the first customer there even though I was a walk in. Second the chair thet put me in would not set up in a more sitting position I am short unable to lay back. Two pillows were placed behind me. I was unable to use massage part of chair which I was looking forward to. Third I chose Classic pedicure...she never even turn the whirlpool part on and nothing put in water. Plus I barely had feet in water and she started on feet. They hadn't had time to soften. Fourth, I asked for basic manicure with own polish. He started on cuticle removal with out soaking hand. Fifth it is not very relaxing when two people are working on you at same time. Sixth since two people were working on be at same tome the 2 of them spent the whole time talking to each other in their own language. Which I think is quite RUDE who knows if part of that time their talking about you. Plis it was annoying and who can relax with all that going on and to people working on you. Seventh. The massage was a hoke she didn't even massage my feet just my legs. Then the hot towels probably on for 2 minute. Eight they never had me sit with infraer lights. Oh and I forgot he never even massage my hands with lotion. Ninth I noticed after doing dishes last night ALL the POLISH on my right hand came off except the thump. Not even chipped but off. Plis on finger on the left. Tenth the whole time I was there it wasn't until it was time before I was to leave no other customers came in. I am mad at myself for the good tip I left. read more

I got my nails done here (with dip) and they were all broken within less than 48 hours after I got them done. They also messed up my real nail. I called and they said if I came in within a week they would fix them for free. However when I got to the salon they told me my nails were not fixable because of how messed up they were. I was told I had to get a full new set. When I was done and went to the counter they told me I had to pay the full price of a new set even though I was told they would fix them for free. If my nails aren't fixable then the new set should have been free. This place is awful and the quality is very cheap. Their service is also not good. Do not recommend at all and I know people who have had similar experiences. read more

They said it was my fault because my nails are thin even though this has never happened before. They were rude, spoke about me to each other and did a quick, horrible repair job. I have been to this business once before, used Loan and was beyond satisfied with her service, personality, professionalism. I went a second time on the 18th. And the lady I had to use would not help me with picking a color because she wanted me to use shellac and not what I asked. I asked if she knew how to do color powder refill and she walked away. I sat for 5 minutes while she stood over with other employees and customers present and said ' that lady doesn't think I know how to do nails, she can go to hell for all I care exact words. I received a text saying they what to make it right. I called and asked if that meant I could get a pedicure free. But I want loan. So I go to my appointment, ask again if boss approved. Get finished and they wanted $55. I tipped loan because she is amazing. Kim, the manager insisted I pay, I only had $35. They wouldn't agree of me paying $35 for something they said they'd do to make it right and make up for my time and effort lost and humiliation on 18th. I will not return. And I never do reviews but I will tell my story everywhere I can. read more

Just left from having them fixed-only I had to pay $25!!!!! WORST NAIL SALON EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I made and appointment for 12:45 for a basic manicure. I arrived a couple mins before my appt time. I didn't even get sat until 1:05, after being assured that appointments take priority over walk-ins. The lady who worked on my nails never said a word to me, never asked me if I wanted my nails trimmed or how I wanted them shaped. After she finished & I sat (in the same seat) for 15 mins to dry, I looked at my nails closely. They had bubbles all over them, ends were jagged & had cotton fuzz sticking off the ends (mind you, no cotton was used on my nails - I came in with nothing on them). When I went to the counter & let the guy know I was unhappy & showed him why, he called the lady over. She then pulled the fuzz off, which smudged over half of my nails & then she pressed on them to smooth them out, which left finger prints on them. She said "well I can fix them for $5 more". I told them I wasn't paying for something I was going to go home to remove & I certainly wasn't paying extra for them to be "fixed" after they weren't done well or right in the first place. I walked out. Never in my life have I walked out anywhere without paying. read more

This is actually the worst nail salon in Tulsa. I never get my nails done at Oscar. I needed to get dip taken off and I figured that was easy enough to do. I was wrong. I went in asking for a dip removal, when I told them I did not want the $40 manicure, she seemed angry and was very aggressive with my nails. After telling her to leave some length, she cut them down as far as possible to where they are now painful. She continued to file my nails until they bled, as well as smacking my hands to get my attention. I told her she was hurting me and she responded by simply shaking her head. Believe me when i say this is the WORST place in Tulsa. I would not recommend this to anyone. read more

I went today for a mani-pedi. The manicure was fine but the nail tech cut my cuticle so bad on my big toe that it bled the entire time. She poured antiseptic on it but it kept bleeding. So she painted the toenail anyway, and put the brush back in the bottle and the bottle back on the shelf despite the fact that I said something. Completely unsanitary. Just praying I don't get an infection. read more

Never going back! I went to Oscar Nail Salon yesterday looking forward to some R&R, but left 2 1/2 hours later in pain, hungry, and upset. They did not seem concerned at all that they cut me twice, which took forever to stop bleeding. And they acted offended when I asked for a discount. This is the second time in a row they have cut me. I also hate how they talk to each other in Chinese and completely ignore the customer. I will be looking for a new place that actually likes their customers and treats them with respect. read more

I came in for a pedicure this evening .Linda Boy, did I need it! It has been too long. Miss Linda did my pedicure and worked really hard to make my feet look and feel nice. It's been about 4 months since I've been In and my toenails sure have been hurting. Seating was right away. She was very sweet. Offered a beverage and put a warm thing around my neck. Prices were pretty fair. 36 plus 20 for shellac. I have never been to this nail salon. I will come back to miss Linda :). Very pleased with the service she provided. read more

I just started a job as a teller and decided to get my nails cleaned up since people will be looking at them often. I had never been to Oscars before and decided to give it a try after a friend recommended it. I can confidently say this is my new place. I wish I would've gotten the name of the man who did my nails but he did an awesome job. He listened to exactly what I wanted and I felt very well taken care of. Honestly the worst nail experience I've ever had, as soon as I sat down and given the book of colors I had two women pressuring me to get hot pink. I would show my friend a color I liked and they would chime in and point at a hot pink color. Not saying I don't like opinions however I said no to hot pink multiple times. I ended up getting a light pink, I think that was influenced because I felt so rushed, I didn't even want pink when I went in because I always get it. Moving on the water was so cold, by the time I noticed it was already full. I had gotten the same pedicure as my friend however she got way more than I did, different types of serums a REAL massage on her legs, while I got normal lotion barely a buff with the callus remover. When I say barely I really mean a touch of a feather, as well as the "massage" nothing relaxing about my experience here and not to mention my shellac nails chipped within the first few days.
