I saw mirrors and wall decor on the ground thinking 'oh they just moved in' but when I asked how long they had been in that location, the artist said 3 years. Hmm, okay. Then we discussed payment. The place doesn't accept cash because employees constantly steal it. Hmm, okay. They use old lazy-boy recliners for clients and they are falling apart and just gave me an overall dirty feel. The two times I had appointments, there were never paper towels in the bathroom. The staff are very nice but don't acknowledge your existence unless you are their client. There's so much potential for this salon but don't get the vibe the owner is willing to put in the grit to get it there.

After speaking with her over the phone I decided to go with it and make an appointment to get my first treatment started. Once I got to the shop it was super cute and clean. I love the decor and vibe! I was a bit early so sat in the front for a little before someone was able to greet me. I was helped by Nicole and she was very comforting. I was so nervous I almost backed out. Nicole was very patient and said we could go as slow as I needed. I did take a few breaks because it does hurt but it's not unbearable if you break it up. I heard of lash lifts and it sounded like just what I needed. A lash lift is essentially a perm for your natural lashes, it lifts and curls your own lashes for about 4-6 weeks. This location used to be Wink Eyelash Salon. It is now called GloUp, but it's part of the Flutter empire. They manage 5 locations - all called differently, which can be a bit confusing when making an appointment online. You'll see different names, just make sure it's the location you want. Once I figured this out, it was easy and simple to book a spot. You get helpful email and text reminders. Since I didn't know any stylists yet, I chose based on my availability. I first booked with Sonja. She was very friendly and as soon as I told her it was my first time, she intentionally explained the process as she went, step by step. Their chairs are comfy, which is great since the process took quite a bit (about an hour). My eyes are sensitive so they immediately started watering. It's not a pleasant process but it's not terrible. My lashes lifted a little but not enough to where she was satisfied, so she didn't charge me and told me they'd reach out to schedule another appointment at no cost to me. I was confused about how long I should wait to since it didn't work but chemicals were still used. Two weeks later, I received an email and a call about it. They somewhat answered my questions so I was willing to give Sonja another try. I went in again and this time, it worked and I absolutely loved it. She used a different solution... The lift actually lasted a couple of months and I went in again with a different stylist, Jamie. This was a huge fail, after being there for at least 30 minutes, my lashes would not even cooperate to stay down long enough for the solution to be applied. She didn't know what to do so I got a recommendation to book with Valerie S. She was absolutely amazing. I will never book with anyone else. Valerie was extremely resourceful and somehow made it work with my stubborn lashes. I'm a fan of lifts now. Book with her!

I finally started coming back to this Bixby location they built closer to my house. This was my 3rd visit at the Bixby location. I had a bad customer service experience. I did not complain to the manager. But she heard about it, called to apologize, and she made it right. Pros: I will definitely be coming back here. I like the services I get (waxing and tinting). They do a really good job with my eyebrows. Much better than other places I've been going to. Clean. The customer service is typically very good. Scheduling is easy and convenient.

I have been going to Pretty Peepers for 7 years and she is hands down the best around! She uses top…read morenotch products and my eyelashes look great every time. In the past at other lash bars, technicians had trouble getting my lashes to stay and I would spent two hours in the studio just for a fill. At Pretty Peepers she is fast and I've never had any problem with my lashes coming off. Her salon is always clean and she even keeps hand sanitizer by the door with a sign politely asking clients to use it when they enter. I've recommended so many people to her; she sets the bar high!
