I was a loyal customer until one visit your computers went down. After a 70 min wait I was asked which card I wanted to use for payment. Since the long wait to pay I asked for a discount. After a short discussion that would be a no. Then the lady asked which card I wanted to use. I found out that they had maintained all information from 5 cards. Really?? I absolutely LOVE this location! This was my first time visiting this one but even so, the staff were friendlier and more organized than the location I used to visit frequently in CT. I put "any" for my wax specialist when I booked online. Dan'Elle (or Dan) was my specialist for the morning and she was absolutely amazing. She did a wonderful job on my eyebrows and tint. I felt 100% comfortable with her and she was so gentle. The center is clean and bright, organized, and the products are well stocked. I used to dread going to European Wax Center back in CT because I've always had issues there (specialists were running late...one time was over 30 min, one ripped my skin, etc etc, I never liked anyone at the center). All I have to say is ... Courtney Courtney Courtney. She does a superb job. I try my waxers out before I commit. I am committed. So glad I found someone near home. She does a technique no other waxer has done for me before. And super friendly. I was instantly comfortable. Aside from Courtney, EWC's wax is top notch. I noticed a huge difference from a private waxing company I was going to since I moved from NY. I followed my EWC waxer when she opened her own spot and she went through many many wax trials to find something similar to EWC or better. I was sad to leave her and start over again. My legs were never the same while I switched to the private boutique. My hair was breaking instead of pulling out - hair came back faster and thicker. Arrived today for my 3 appointments only to find 1 was made apparently. They made no effort to squeeze us in and offered us "points" to make it up. I explained we are leaving on vacation, on a super tight schedule and all I got was a sorry. At least 1 of 3 will go on vacay looking put together. 0/0 on customer service. Courtney at this location is the absolute best! She is so personable and does such an amazing job! Being plus size isn't always the most comfortable when you're getting your bikini area waxed, and not all aestheticians know the best ways to wax a plus size person. I Love EWC! I have been a customer for years! Wake Forest location had recently opened and I was so excited, it's now closer for me. I travel 1 1/2 hrs now to get my multi wax services done once a month and before WF, I traveled to Raleigh, even further. It is soooo worth it! My wax specialist Ariel is great! I went to Courtney for a full face wax and she is amazing!! If you havent tried european wax center, it is completely different from other places. I am so excited to not have to drive into raleigh because of this location in wake forest! I dont know how to say this, but it isint as painful because of the wax they use. Love, love this place! I am new to waxing and decided to try it after countless years of irritation from shaving - BEST decision ever! I've done three waxes now and the itching and bumps are completely gone, which feels like a miracle! EWC makes it so easy to schedule/reschedule in person, online, or via their app, which is super convenient and user-friendly. Waxing can be expensive, but EWC is constantly running promotions and gives you rewards towards future services for every visit. They also offer discounted wax passes for multiple services **that never expire and can be used at any EWC location.** Cleanliness and professionalism are on point and the customer service at the Wake Forest location is phenomenal, which is huge given how difficult staffing has become for so many businesses. The receptionist, Nyquashia, is WONDERFUL! I didn't know what I was doing or who to book, but she provided amazing recommendations for me on the team of wax specialists and on pre/post-wax products without any pressure to buy. My wax specialist, Ariel, was so friendly and made me feel super comfortable the entire time. She walked me through the process, answered all my questions, talked to me to keep me comfortable, and did an excellent job. Wait times for appointments are always short, checkout is a breeze, and they offer to set up your next appointment or provide info on how to do so later if you're not sure yet.
