Horrible experience. The staff was really disappointing. Laura, I believe is her name, should not be a manager. She's no help at all and absolutely does not care about her clients. She takes no accountability, nor do her workers. She claims so, but that's not what was portrayed. She refuses to believe that her employees can make mistakes just to protect the company's image, absolutely pathetic, considering they did lie, make mistakes and some are incompetent. They all lied by insisting certain information was went over and discussed during the consult, such as risks, which was not. Grace definitely did not go over risks. Rachel did when I asked but also persisted it was covered by Grace previously and Desiree, whom I have never seen regarding fillers. They made the mistake of noting inaccurately in their system that I'v seen Desiree twice about fillers when I haven't. It was Grace instead, and only once. Grace unfortunately isn't as experienced as she should be. My consult with her was not informative. She barely knew how to answer my questions properly, hesitated and did not even bother to show me any sample photos at all considering this is a big procedure. I'm sure this wouldn't be the first complaint against her expertise, and I know they all know it, including the manager, Laura. Never also seen a place that didn't have photos to offer to go by. This led me to ask many questions during the day of my procedure. Rachel in a way was rushing to get started so my numbing creme wouldn't ware off, which ended up waring off 6 hours later... So... I can conclude that there was plenty of time to ask as many questions needed. This is where I explained that I hadn't had these questions discussed previously and therefore is crucial to have them answered. Rachel argues and insists that I'v had a consult twice with Desiree based on the "notes" on the computer which were inaccurate. I did not have any consults with Desiree regarding fillers, only laser hair removal over more than a year ago. I blame the person in charge for all of this, whether the workers are dishonest and/or incompetent, full accountability should be taken by Laura the manager. Yet, no accountability was taken. Whether you're also a loyal client or not, which I certainly have been, guess that definitely doesn't fall in with them. I'v been with Rita for probably a little over a year for laser and had planned 3 other future procedures. Like I said, it does not fall in with them. I don't recommend this place. read more

I've been seeing Kelly for almost a year now, and I truly can't say enough good things. Not only is she warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind, but she also brings a level of knowledge and professionalism that sets her apart. From the very first appointment, she took the time to understand my skin and its needs, recommending treatments and products that have genuinely made a HUGE difference in my skin. She has an amazing eye for what your skin needs based on your goals. She also has a long-term approach to skincare, which I LOVE, and I've never once felt pushed toward unnecessary treatments--which is one of my biggest pet peeves! I feel confident and cared for every time I walk out of her treatment room, and truly enjoy our conversations during our sessions. If you're looking for someone who is not only kind but also deeply knowledgeable and results-driven, I cannot recommend Kelly enough! read more

I cannot say enough good things about BodyLase! From the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. The spa itself is spotless, beautifully designed, and has such a calming, luxurious feel. Every staff member I interacted with was warm, professional, and truly knowledgeable -- you can tell they care deeply about their clients and results. I did daxxify and my treatment was fantastic -- my provider (Grace) took the time to explain everything, answer all my questions, and tailor the service to my needs. The results have already exceeded my expectations! I left feeling refreshed, confident, and so well taken care of. I've previously done the hydrafacial and laser genesis here as well and can't wait to try microneedling next! Everything has been excellent. read more

This spa is the best in Raleigh! No wait time, clean and professional. All the staff is amazing and Rachel did a great job, very skilled, encouraging and gentle. Just what you want! Highly recommend read more

I don't why I waited so long to do this for myself. I have broken capillaries and hyperpigmentation/redness from acne in my youth. I've tried many things over the years, this is the most worth it for me. IPL laser. This clinic is legit & professional. Actual doctors on staff able to prescribe medication if needed. Most med spas don't have that capability. Brings me peace of mind to know that. I'm seeing 60% reduction in broken capillaries and redness immediately after the first session. This is a huge deal for me! I've always had to wear full coverage makeup and felt very self conscious without it. As I'm aging, wearing less makeup is a priority as foundation tends to settle into lines and wrinkles- making me look even older. I had Abby for IPL. She's amazing! I had readied my mind for pain, but it was nearly painless. No numbing needed. Bonus points! My appointment didn't feel rushed, she was very understanding and kind. She made sure to give the more stubborn areas extra attention. I was able to relax after it clicked in my head that I was in good hands and it didn't hurt like I had anticipated. I'm going back in 4 weeks to complete the treatment. I already feel more confident than I have in 15 years. The results are real. BTW- I never felt pressured or upsold. read more

I had a treatment with Kelly. She was amazing. She explained everything so well. She had the most wonderful personality. And she was extremely skilled with the aesthetic treatment I received. I will definitely be going back. read more

I had never considered having Fraxel treatments until my son insisted that I try it.....And he was SO right! Of course, the only place I would trust with treating my face is BodyLase of Cary! I was so fortunate to be teamed with the most attentive and thorough Gloria Elmore as my numbing Queen & spa assistant and the fabulously meticulous Tiffany Clodfelter as my Fraxel Magician! I absolutely LOVED the entire experience and highly recommend them! I am confident I could not have received better service anywhere else.... And the results were nothing less than Amazing!!! read more

Went for a consult and got bad recommendations for skin care and lack of knowledge regarding the Obagi products they carry. When I tried to exchange a recommended product for one more appropriate for my skin type, was told the alternate product doesn't exist when it actually does. Also told there are no refunds. Am out $150 for a product I can not use. read more

Great service and very clean location. Rita is very nice and helpful and provides excellent advice for my skin. The receptionists are also friendly and always offer tea or water. I also appreciate the availability of appointments after work (after 5pm) read more

I always enjoy coming here. I have a hard time trusting anyone with my sensitive skin, Rita always gets it right! I've only had 5 star experience anytime I have an appointment for facials/peels. Rita makes sure to answer all my questions and put me at ease! Julia did my Botox for the first time, and i am looking forward to more appointments! read more

Grace pumped so much filler into my face I look like a chipmunk with a moth full of nuts. Thousands I spent to look un natural and terrible! In speaking to the manager, Laura she was no help and didn't care. No sympathy at all told me basically it was my problem which Im spending hundreds to get it out/ dilute! They don't care. They just want to sell you more product so they make a commission . For years I was a loyal customer( Rhonda & Kelly are great) BUT this visit they offered nothing for this horrific look I'm sporting. I'm embarrassed and sick about it all! read more

Kelly is amazing and makes you feel so comfortable. I started with a small area that I was having hair removal done and have added multiple additional areas. Consultation was great and made things streamlined. The Raleigh location is so nice. I highly recommend!! read more

I have been going to Bodylase for about a year and it has been great. Kelly and Desiree are knowledgeable, friendly, and take their time answering your questions. The facility itself is beautifully decorated and everything is clean. It's even relaxing to sit in the waiting area before your appointment. When I first went, I felt nervous going to a spa for the treatment I needed since I've done it years ago and it was extremely painful, too expensive, and ineffective. I'm so glad I gave it another shot at Bodylase. My treatments worked this time, were not too painful, and it has been a huge confidence booster. Initially, I was also worried that it would cost too much, but I did financing with 0 interest for a year, which made it very manageable. My only warning is you'll want to keep going back! read more

Looking to give your skin a little refresh? Go see Kelly! I have been going to Kelly for over a year now and truly trust her with my skincare needs (fraxel, laser genesis and VI Peel to name a few). Not only is she amazing with explaining each technique, how it works and what to expect...but her positive energy is contagious! She will make you feel so comfortable and recommends the best treatment and products specifically for your skin type. Rhonda is another fabulous provider at BodyLase. She is my go to for Botox injections and takes all my wrinkle worries away read more

BodyLase Skin Spa is certainly the place to go for all your skincare needs. I've been a client for years, and was delightfully surprised when my husband decided to pay them a visit. He's in his early 60s, and not fussy about skincare in the least, but was bothered by a little neck waddle under his chin. He met with Rhonda, who recommended some Botox (in his neck!) plus Ultherapy, and the results are amazing. He looks 10 years younger, and I'm definitely going to get this procedure when the time comes for me! In addition to the many services they offer, it is also my favorite place for quality skincare products, including SkinMedica, Obagi and Neocutis. The staff is highly trained and very experienced, and the spa itself is beautifully appointed, and spotlessly clean. I highly recommend BodyLase Skin Spa without any reservations. read more

As someone who has had both good and bad past experiences with filler appointments (at other practices), I can honestly say Bodylase of Raleigh is the place to go for your cosmetic/filler needs! I was treated today with one syringe of Juvedérm and minor Botox by Julia Pjetraj NP and my experience was nothing short of AMAZING. Her quality of work and attention to detail is impeccable. From the moment I walked in, I felt warmly welcomed by Brittany and the other staff who even offered me a fresh cup of coffee! Lol Julia treated me with a level of expertise and genuine concern for my satisfaction that I have never experienced before. One thing that really stood out to me was her consideration for the intricate detail of my concerns regarding maintaining the natural shape of my lips, and I'm so happy with the final product! She should really be considered an artist because I feel like she crafted my masterpiece today! haha I'd originally been seeing the same "lip lady," for almost two years and my visit today had me regretting not finding Bodylase sooner. Needless to say, I have happily found my new home at Bodylase :) read more

Make an appt at BodyLase with Julia for botox and I promise you won't be disappointed. I've been to Synergy and Sona for Botox many times and feel so grateful I've finally found Julia at BodyLase. She's very skillful and knowledgeable of her practice and in my experience the only one that actually spends time discussing your concerns. She takes the extra time to explain what she's doing and brainstorm future needs you may have. BodyLase has a wonderful Botox membership program and all the front desk staff are a pleasure. Leah takes the extra time at the end to tell you what perks you have "banked" in the system, if you'd like to know where you are with Botox units and Allē funds ;)! read more

I have been going to Bodylase Raleigh to see Kelly for laser hair removal since I moved here from NY 2 years ago. Honestly, she is one of the friendliest and most upbeat people I have ever met. She always make me feel comfortable and at ease during my treatments and the results are amazing! The space is also recently updated, clean, and beautiful! I am even considering trying out one of the many other treatments BodyLase has to offer, as the pricing is right and they run specials frequently. I would recommend BodyLase and Kelly to anyone who is interested in a positive skin care experience :-)! read more

The Bodylase Raleigh location is beautiful. Clean, serene and the staff are all delightful. Kelly, is one of a kind. Ive been going to Bodylase for a few years now and absolutely love it! I want to give a huge shoutout to Rhonda, the injector I see. She is always so warm, and takes the time to listen to my concerns and come up with a great treatment plan for my face. She is excellent at botox and filler. One of the many things I love about Rhonda is her keen eye, attention to detail, and her patience. If you're looking for a great injector, look no further! I also always have positive experience with the front desk girls. Brittany is a fabulous spa manager, and Janna is always so kind & welcoming and makes me feel like family. I've been to a couple of other Medical Spas in the past, but I always come back to Bodylase consistently because none compare to the way I am treated here. It's a warm inviting atmosphere & the staff are lovely! read more

Fabulous results and an equally fabulous experience! From the moment you walk in the door, to the moment you walk out, the Bodylase team is on top of it. Not only are each of the team members experts in their field, but each are kind and make an effort to show clients that they are a priority. This is certainly true for Rita, the medical esthetician I've been going to for years. Sweet, cheerful and knowledgeable, she is my go to for all things skin! She is patient and answers each of my questions and helps me understand the purpose behind her recommendations. With consistent treatment both in the office (microneedling, laser facials and dermaplaning) and at home in the form of medical grade skincare products they retail, the acne scars and hyper pigmentation that I had, have disappeared. With these treatments, I have also noticed a difference in my fine lines (I am 29)--and am glad they are also beneficial for anti aging. The laser hair treatments I have received have also left me confident (goodbye underarm hair!) any time of the year. I whole heartedly recommend Rita and Bodylase. read more

I was extremely disappointed with Bodylase on Creedmoor Rd in Raleigh when I tried to buy a gift card for a 1 hour facial for my wife. Online, even currently, bodylase shows this 1 hour facial for $75. After driving there and trying to purchase this gift card, I was told it was $85, because "it's a really good facial." I went back and forth with the receptionist about how that was false advertisement and that the price shown should reflect the price in store whether they took a loss or not. She refused to get clearance to change the price so I then told her I would find someone in Raleigh who did honor their online pricing. I then saved $25.00 going to Hand and Stone. My wife was excited either way. read more

If you are looking to transform your skin - - RUN (don't walk) to Bodylase and get a facial from Kelly! I cringe when I think of all the money I've wasted at other day spas. Sure, those other places had beautiful waiting rooms and luxurious scented products. But I wasn't seeing results at those other spas. And even though my bathroom counter top was cluttered with fancy (read: expensive) products from these fancy (read: expensive) day spas, my pores were still clogged, my complexion was still splotchy and the dark spots on my face seemed like a neon sign announcing "GIRL WITH CRAPPY SKIN, COMING THROUGH!" But then I found Body Lase, and I haven't looked back. On my first microderm appointment, Kelly and I discussed my concerns and problem areas and she suggested some products that might be helpful. Ok people, don't roll your eyes when she's talking . . . LISTEN. She's going to suggest Obagi products. You might think it's pricey (which it kind of is . . . upfront) but they last a LONNNGGG time (if you use correct portion size) and unlike the pumpkin/blueberry/chocolate/seaweed scrubs, cleansers, and magic potions that other spas suggest . . . these products work (and they only take up a small corner of your bathroom counter top). Quick question: if you're sure that your products are better than the ones she suggests - then why, pray tell, are you seeking out help with your skin? Uh - huh. So listen, turn off your ego, and take in the suggestions. After our discussion, we started the microdermabrasion session. I've had microderm before but never like this. There was cleansing, exfoliating, steaming, extracting, massaging, and microderm-ing. At first, I was genuinely concerned that somehow I was getting a luxury package as opposed to the basic microderm I asked for. When all was done, I crossed my fingers as I went up to the desk to pay thinking that there were going to be massive upcharges for all the luxurious treatments she did during my hour treatment. But nope . . . I was charged the basic price. So TRUST ME when I say that you are getting your money's worth when you get a one hour treatment with Kelly. Stop wasting your time and money at other places. Three sessions with Kelly and my skin is brighter, clearer, the dark spots are pretty much gone. And if my face is saying anything these days it's "GIRL WITH AWESOME SKIN, COMING THROUGH!" read more

I made an appointment at Bodylase with Julia and she was absolutely wonderful. You could tell she knew what she was doing and cared about her work. I had such a wonderful experience at BodyLase. Starting with the phone call to book my appointment to walking out the door after my appointment, everyone was so nice and pleasant. Kelly administered the Fraxel laser to my face. I can't explain how great a person she is. I read reviews about how great she was before booking my appointment and they are all so true. She is the nicest, sweetest person and really put me at ease for what I was about to get done to my face. She is great at her job and loves what she does and it shows. This spa embodies great care and customer service. I decided to take my teenagers (17 & 14) here last minute for their first experience having facial/extractions and was able to be squeezed in immediately. The spa is immaculate, warm and inviting. Desiree was professionally poised, friend, and helpful upon our entry. What a wonderful way to be greeted and serviced. She was a true delight and enjoyed my every interaction with her. Kelly exuded the customer service and knowledge. She was warm, intelligent and provided a thorough consultation. What made her so special to me was that she listened and adapted. She heard my needs and created a plan perfectly designed for each of my teenagers that fit my budget. Both teenagers walked away after their salicylic peel amazingly pleased with their service and their time spent with Kelly. She talked them through the process and put them at ease. Both children said they would happily go back to her. I'll see you in the fall for Fraxel!!! :) Thanks so much! read more

I have been seeing Kelly for 4 years now and every time I leave BodyLase I feel more confident in my own skin. I recently had a very negative experience here. I have come here twice for microdermabrasion with Kelly. The first time I came, I explicitly mentioned that I wanted the a la carte microdermabrasion, but they put me down for the entire facial which is much more expensive. It was only as Kelly was beginning the procedure that I realized and was able to stop her before having the wrong treatment done and having to pay so much. Now onto the negative experience--both times I have come here I felt like there was way too much pressure/product pushing. I expected it the first time, but this time was just terrible. In fact, I left BodyLase feeling extremely self conscious about my skin which is unfortunate because I have been really happy with the improvement of my skin over the last few months until hearing Kelly today. The way Kelly was speaking, she made it seem like I had this horrible condition using the phrase "this is just the hand you've been dealt and you'll have to work on it for the rest of your life." I think this is an extremely overdramatic and negative thing to say to a client, because my skin isn't that bad--i just have scarring on my cheeks. She also spent the entire time yapping like an infomercial (instead of explaining what she was putting on my face) about their OVER priced products like these vitamin A pills that are no different than your one-a-day daily vitamin. Finally, when I made it clear to her that I could not afford a $100 moisturizer or a $500 acne system, she went on saying "give up that $5 coffee you drink everyday" which made me uncomfortable because she has no idea about my lifestyle or finances, and it's not fair to put so much pressure on someone to buy a product if they genuinely cannot afford it. To me it seems like this place is just about making money and selling products. I will not be returning here or recommending their services. read more
