Great staff and I really enjoyed my services. It's the only Moroccan Oil spa/salon in the area. I love their products. That's the main reason I go there, the MoroccanOil. I have been numerous times for everything from massages, Vichy Therapy, facials, and most recently the scalp treatment. My only concern is how inflated the price became when I went the last time. It was - very excessive. I was quoted a price that was significantly lower than what I was charged. I did add one extra service. It should have been around $40 extra, I was fine with that, cool. I did not bring it up at the time because the services were great. They were very nice and were really knowledgeable. I enjoyed the experience and did not want to get into the over charge issue right then and there. I was relaxed and happy, and wanted to leave happy. It does still bug me evidently, otherwise why would I be putting this out here, right? I don't know if I'll go back, if I'm spending that much money on what I had done - I'm going to a full on resort spa and having a day. read more

Naisha is amazing! I got the derma-plane facial that was and hour and half. I know a lot of people do this themselves, and I have also tried but the attention to detail Naisha has made my skin so smooth and fresh in every spot. Nothing was missed. In summary: The company double dipped. This spa allowed me to pay for a service after 3 separate people prepaid for my services as a gift. The owner blamed it on the receptionist and told one of my friends that they should have coordinated with my other friends (she doesn't know them lol) to avoid the confusion. It took the owner 5 days to contact me about the issue and it was only after one of my friends called and had to give her my phone number. It's the lack of a competent system and integrity for me! So I decided to book 2 treatments for my birthday at the spa (Thursday, Aug 5). Enjoyed the spa experience for the most part. Monsoon treatment was great and the facial was cool outside of the aesthetician being a little too forceful with the extractions. So I check out and pay with my credit card. The receptionist also asked if I wanted to leave a tip; I left cash. I get home and Friend #1 asks about spa and then awkwardly asks if the receptionist told me that she paid for my monsoon treatment. I call the spa and the receptionist nonchalantly informs me that one of my services was paid for and when I asked her why didn't she tell me or give me the birthday note/card she told me, she thought that I knew. Now even if I knew, she could have told me happy birthday because you know that's what spas normally do when someone comes in for their birthday but whatever. Later that afternoon friend #2 calls and after talking with her I found out she attempted to pay for both services but one had already been paid for by Friend #1 and so she paid for the facial and left gratitity after the receptionist offered for her to cover that. *Please note the system is showing prepayments accurately in the system when Friend #2 calls. The next day at dinner, Friend #3 also tells me she paid for a facial. I called back on a Thursday and the receptionist told me the owner was unavailable and that she would contact me back. The receptionist called later and told me that I received a refund for my payment I submitted and I told her that there was still a service that has been prepaid by one of my friends that I didn't receive. She said the owner would be in contact with me on Monday. I did not hear from the owner on Monday. On Tuesday one of my friends called to get things figured out. The owner told her "mistakes happen" "we've never had this happen before" "you all should have coordinated so this didn't occur". Yes mistakes do happen, but please don't blame my amazing friends for your system not showing notes and/or your staff's incompetence. My friend told her that I hadn't spoken to her and she gave her my number and called me after they ended their call. The owner calls and was apologetic and was flooding me with the excuses. She blamed it on the new receptionist even though 2 of my friends got checked out by one receptionist and the other got checked out by a different receiptionist with a different name. The owner said she didn't have my number on file correctly and called another number and left a VM. Mind you, the receptionist I spoke with on that Thursday had my correct number to call me back. Additionally the system sent me a text confirmation for my appointment. She then tells me I have a credit left on my account. I asked her how when my friends prepaid for the services I booked. She said they actually purchased gift cards; my friends specified the service they prepaid so yeah, that sounded weird. She said "You can't prepay for a service, because what if you have to reschedule?" I didn't even go back and forth about something that literally every spa's billing system in the world can do. What annoyed me was when she took a big sigh and says, "What would you like me to do?" It's the fact that she asked that rhetorical question. She reminded me that she had been a small business owner for 7 years. I finally, just asked for the remaining credit to be refunded back to my friend. It wasn't that her team made a mistake. It was the fact that they made multiple mistakes and it took 5 days to reconcile the issue after my folks had to reach out multiple times. It's the fact that the spa's seasoned receptionist was so nonchalant about her mistakes and lack of great customer service skills. It's the fact that the owner didn't call each one of my friends and apologize. It's the fact that the owner didn't attempt to offer a free spa enhancement or treatment for the mistakes. An apology sans the monologue of excuses and a discounted or free massage was all you had to offer to make this right. It's a shame because I've had multiple folks ask about my treatments and I was ready to refer them to your spa. Actually, one of my coworkers actually did book with you all after I told them about the monsoon treatment. Had my friends never told me they purchased the services. I booked hair and makeup for my daughters senior prom. The hair took way longer than what they scheduled aca the makeup was terrible. My daughter left in tears and we had to go home and redo everything. $165 and I ended up doing it all myself. When I contacted the owner she just offered to give her another makeup session and use it as a lesson. I asked to just have a refund for the make up part and she never responded. If you like luxury, this place is your spot! I get my hair done here and it's a spa experience every time. Instead of the loud cluttered open style you get at standard salons, you relax with meditative music, comfy shampoo bowls, and individual time in your salon room with your technician. When I have extra time I always get add in a spa service because they're all so good. The nail room is also private. It's a refreshing change from the open quick nail salons we are all use too. My appointment was for a highlight with Bianca. When I arrived the first thing I noticed was that the salon had very low lighting with an amber tone. While this may be comforting for spa services I don't' think it is very conducive for coloring hair. Bianca is very sweet and polite. We discussed what my expectations were before service was provided. She mentioned that I wasn't booked for a gloss in addition to the highlight appointment. I agreed to this extra charge. When service was completed, I wasn't sure about the resulting tone of the highlights, but I decided that it was due to the bad lighting and didn't say anything. At checkout I noticed that in addition to the highlights and gloss charge there was a charge for "extra bowl time". Not sure what this was for but seems excessive. Next day, I decided that I definitely noticed quite a bit of brassiness to my highlights. I was disappointed since I did say that I preferred an ashy tone. I washed my hair 3 days in a row with purple shampoo and did not notice any real difference. I called the salon and told them I wasn't happy with the tone. They got me in next day with Bianca. Once there I was escorted outside by Bianca and the owner to examine my hair in the daylight. I was interrogated by the owner and asked many personal questions. I was very uncomfortable and felt that it was really unnecessary. Bianca applied a toner and I wasn't charged at checkout. I am still not 100% happy with the tone of the highlights today. Very disappointed in my experience here with hair color services. Complete waste of time and money! Would NEVER GO to this salon. Owner chose not to be understanding, was rude, and unwilling to correct my hair color after it was not done to my satisfaction and turned copper. They were given the exact formula by email, and chose to change it without discussing with me. After speaking with the Owner, Renee, she informed me she was not going to provide a partial refund for services, as well as telling me her salon would NOT WORK for me. This beautiful salon is a neighborhood gem! I'm so grateful I found it and should have come here first before two not-so-good experiences at other local salons (I was new to the area). I had an amazing experience getting my hair done here a few weeks ago and this is my definite go-to for all spa needs from here on out. Salon Serenity puts the customer first from start to finish - no detail has gone without consideration. From the start, their new online booking system is so convenient and easy to use. I love that I can make my own appointments and that the pricing is up front. Other salons will state one price on their website and then gouge you at the end of services so I really appreciated this up front pricing at the time of booking. I also was provided a detailed receipt at the end of service (which has not happened at previous salons I've gone to). The front desk receptionist Mariah is the sweetest person and so professional. At other salons there can be attitude and a stuck up mentality. But at Serenity, Mariah was so warm and welcoming. She even called me before my service to be sure I had booked the correct service for my needs. Wonderful follow through and very accommodating. The stylist I booked time with was Laura R. - pure perfection. She recently moved to the area as a previous salon owner and with 30 years of experience. It totally shows. She did an exceptional job (fixing the bad coloring job of another stylist). The color Laura did on me was absolutely beautiful and she was extremely efficient with our time. She accommodated me as a new mom not wanting to be away from my kids too long and made me feel like it was no problem at all to get it done quick. She still managed to do it in half the time with double the precision I've seen from anyone else. Even better she is just a top notch individual. She made me feel so comfortable and at ease due to her easy going personality, incredibly positive attitude, and high skill set. At Serenity they take the time to have a conversation with you, a consult ahead of doing any services and determine what you want at the time of the appointment (like normal people!) Other local salons required me to send in inspiration pictures and pictures of my hair just because I am a new customer to the salon.... and then would let me know if they could accommodate my needs (for a simple color and cut) ...seriously... you can't make this stuff up! That was too much work for me when Serenity makes it SO easy and enjoyable instead. It was absolutely lovely to go to a salon that is relaxing and ambient. Too many salons now have gone too stark and cold. The product lines they use and sell are absolutely wonderful. They offer a few different lines which is really nice. I had an appointment for 12:30 PM, drove for 20 minutes to get there, was kept waiting for 15 minutes only to learn the nail tech had called in sick and they didn't have a replacement. Rather than texting me in advance so I didn't make the drive, they kept me sitting waiting. Perhaps that is acceptable for some people, but for me that is not good customer service... I should've been told in advance so I could move the appointment, or choose to go elsewhere at my preferred time... they left me scrambling snd annoyed. It was unexpected to have to make a change, so I was apprehensive. I did my research and read reviews across multiple sites. I also personally know Renee, but hadn't seen her in years. They are busy! You can't just call and get right in so plan ahead. They won Best of the Best and I see why. Renee is a Master Colorist. I gave her my formulation from the previous salon, and she was able to do what I had ... but BETTER! No bleach or foil was used, yet I got rich, multidimensional color. Extra care was taken to keep my long, colored hair healthy. Renee took the time to find out about my typical hair routine and my goals for the color and maintenance. Ambience: this is a full service salon and spa. Facials, massages, makeup, nails, skin and body treatments, you name it. Price: they are more expensive than my last salon, but worth dvery I've now been going to Salon Serenity for a year and have my color done every 2 months. My hair is healthy, I always love my results and I almost always get a new color each visit so it's not just a touch up every 2 months. My husband and kids go here too. I received a gift certificate from my daughters. I called in the beginning of the week and set up the appointment for Saturday. I mentioned I needed deep tissue and hard pressure. Ashley recommend Katrina . She was able to schedule me and was delightful. Upon arrival the aroma and atmosphere instantly relaxed me. The waiting area was clean and calming. I didn't wait long and Katrina came to get me. I booked the 90 min deep tissue massage. It was the best massage I've ever been had in my whole life. Received a gift card as a gift 6-8 months ago for $120 worth of services and they would not honor it bc they said it had expired. I was pregnant and had a very hard pregnancy and hard birth with my baby in and out if ER the first 3 months and was I unable to use this gift card within the last 6-8 months or so and they would not honor the amount purchased for this gift card so this tired and busy mom couldn't get one freaking massage for herself. Extremely disappointed. I planned a girls spa day for my mom's 60th birthday. When I called and made the appointments, I asked for 3 facial appointments and 3 pedicures and said we were all together and celebrating a special occasion. When we arrived at the spa, we were told two of us would get facials and one would have to wait for an hour in the lounge. Then the first two would get their pedicures while the third got her facial. Then the first two would be sitting around waiting for the third one to get her pedicure. I asked why we weren't all together like I booked and was told that "There are three pedicure chairs and we have to keep the middle one blocked off for COVID". Mind you- the owner was not wearing a mask and only about half the employees were so that was definitely not the reason. She tried to act like this was always how the appointment would go, but that's definitely not how I made the appointment. Once my mom and sister went to the nail salon, they found out from one of the techs that the middle pedicure chair was leaking/not working and that was the reason we couldn't all be together. It was frustrating because look it's totally understandable that things happen, but be transparent and let us know that, go out of your way with your customer service, etc. I also understand being understaffed- things happen- but own up to it and make up for it with your customer service. Additionally, this was definitely not the day spa experience advertised. We weren't given robes, wine and drink selection was sub par, overall just ok. For the price, we definitely did not get what we paid for. I have gotten a better pedicure at a regular nail salon for much less. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE. First, the "owner" is both a bully and a coward. My services were awful. It started with a massage which mimicked a laying down chair massage with limp pressure, after I specifically requested a fully body, deep pressure massage. She never checked to see if the pressure was ok and rushed through the 30 min session by cutting it short. Then, I had the WORST FACIAL OF MY LIFE. A woman literally wasted 40 minutes (after wasting 5 mins tussling with my hair and making comments/asking inappropriate questions about my style) rubbing products, including a cream cleanser, cheap exfoliant and finally cream + OIL into my (combination oily) skin. NO STEAM, no extractions, no real tools...just her ungloved hands awkwardly massaging my face. She got products, including the exfoliant, into my eyes THREE TIMES!! Then blamed it on me by saying "keep your eyes closed!" LADY -- WHY ARE YOU RUBBING MY EYES AT ALL and ESPECIALLY with exfoliant on your hands. Complete trash. Lastly, the "package" was supposed to finish with a "mini mani/pedi" according to their website. This turned out to actually be a "polish change" only, which the owner and nail tech both called it and which I declined. I was prepared to chalk up my losses and reflect my extreme dissatisfaction via a lack of gratuity. However, the owner asked me how my services were and my mediocre response (I really watered it down initially to preserve her feelings) pissed her off, I guess. She made it her business to hunt me down in the nail room, where I was sitting next to my colleague, who was accepting the paltry polish change disguised as a mini-pedi, and confront me in an extremely unprofessional way. She loud talked me, insulted me in front of my colleague and her employees, and then defended the poor work of her clinicians, explaining that they are experts and "never get complaints." She then offered false alternatives (another try at a longer service tomorrow) and explained that the package we picked was "just a taste" of what they offer. When I declined, she jumped over me and began harassing my colleague about her level of satisfaction to justify her egoic claims of excellence and discredit my feedback and terrible experience even farther. It was so off-putting that I immediately returned to the locker room to change, pay and get the heck out of there. However, in the changing room, it hit me how poorly she had treated me as a "client" and how embarrassing and uncomfortable she made both of us with her unprofessionalism. I proceeded to make my way to the front and requested to speak with her again, which I was planning to do outside of her establishment, in private. She refused to come outside and then pretended she'd left the premises for lunch, refusing to come back out and face me. At 3:45pm. Yeah right. What a coward! So her minion took my number under the auspice that she would call upon returning from "lunch." Needless to say, she never called. My colleague and I didn't exchange words about the disrespect until we left the salon, but the "owner" made her feel so uncomfortable that she decided to skip the rest of her "mini-pedi polish change." This place is a nightmare. Awful technicians and piss poor customer service from the alleged owner. Save your money and your sanity. 0 stars. I was looking for a new salon/stylist closer to home since we've moved, but also for other reasons that I will describe below. I came across the reviews on Salon Serenity Spa, and upon calling for more info, booked an appointment with Jazlyn. I can't say enough amazing things about the salon as well as Jazlyn, but I am going to try to recount my experience: The salon is beautiful, inviting, and extensive. The staff were ALL so polite and friendly, there is definitely a real "teamwork" style about how they operate, you get the feeling that you are everyone's client throughout your treatment. As for Jazlyn, she had such a mop of hair to deal with when I came in - my blonde was brassy, my ends were straggly, and I was just feeling in a "hair rut". I have not had such an amazing cut and color in my life! I walked out of there feeling so relaxed and my husband was floored at the difference she made with my hair. We looked at pictures of my hair before for comparison, and he was astounded. What I think the most important thing about my experience (aside from my hair) was the fact that this salon and stylist cared that this was supposed to be a relaxing treatment. Every other stylist I've ever had takes the whole time you're there trying to coax small talk out of you, to tell you about all the troubles they're going through, and tries to fill up the "dead air" (which usually consists of the same tired questions/conversation from your previous appointment). Until now, I've never had a "relaxing" trip to the hair salon, and certainly not one I look forward to. At one point, I offered to hold a section of my hair so Jazlyn could go get another clip, and she said "no, thank you, but I want you to relax". *sighhhhh* She's a dream. The ambiance is incredible, the massage during your shampoo/conditioner is legitimately heaven, and the fact that everyone truly wanted me to walk away feeling refreshed made me a client for as long as I live in the area. I don't write reviews normally unless things go really well. About 2 months ago I went in to get my hair cut and a brow wax. I had an event to go to afterwards. My hair cut was great. The stylist did exactly what I wanted her to. Then it was on to get my wax. When the wax was applied it burned directly through my skin. The technician applied some cooling gel but the damage was already done. For weeks I had huge scabs over both eyes. It was so bad that makeup couldn't cover it. Now I have a nice sized burn scar over my left eye. Every time I look in the mirror I am reminded of this place. On top of all that the lady at the front desk charged my credit card for double the cost of my services!!!! Anyway, be very careful if you go. This was after a years time that Patrick had previously butchered me! I told him, absolutely no cutting my hair just style it and color. I was so happy that I could finally wear my hair down again. I'm extremely well educated and worldly, I could have not have made my Instructions clearer to Patrick... so clear, in fear that he would do it again. He didn't do it again.,.. He butchered me 1000 % worse. He knew that I had a photo shoot the next day. Which had to be canceled.That's why they did it because they're just nasty nasty people! So the words gotten around. I never thought that he would've done it again, I would've never walked into their door. Patrick cut my hair like a boy! I later found out that he had butchered so many women, people are and were whispering about him. As well as that nasty nasty owner. It was the same story over and over again they went in there and Patrick butchered them!!!! At least the many women I spoke to you never went back and just shut their mouth's. But I'm giving you full force warning. It's been well over another year and it's still not grown out from the disaster that they've done. I should have sued them! Additionally Patrick colored my hair as well, which is and was red. he decided on his own that he should make it dark deep black! They chopped off ALL my hair and then made it black! The nasty owner told me I should just keep washing it and wash it twice a day !!! Right...I'm going to pay them $200 and go home and keep washing it and wash it to get the Disgusting Color that he purposely did! This is a warning to everyone. Please trust me. Everyone is so friendly and professional and the atmosphere is inviting, serene, and calm. You can feel the warmth of the staff from the moment you enter the building! Becca and Renee are often there to greet you as soon as you cross the threshold! I want to make sure I acknowledge Cass who gave me an amazing massage, Allison, the salt and pepper shaker collector, who gave me a wonderful manicure and pedicure, Jordyn, who gave me a fabulous facial. Alex, who has cut my daughters hair and Lauralee who has cut my hair were A phenomenal introduction to the cosmetologists Who work there! They were friendly and energetic and so good at what they do! Our next two appointments were with Heidi and Karen: I cannot say enough about how wonderful these two women were with my daughters and me!! We all talked nonstop and loved the cuts, styles, and conversations! Plus- their caliber of cut was big city styling!!! I truly cannot say enough about this salon and spa! They are truly a cut above the rest! Love love love this place! My spouse bought me a $300 gift card at the end of year 2021 and I received it as a Xmas gift - during the COVID era which I was definitely more hesitant to do any sort of spa treatment. The gift card looked like a credit card and had no info on it with regard to how much was on it when it expired etc.. fast forward to beginning of 2023 (March) I remembered I had a gift card to serenity and booked a massage which I was waaay overdo for and had not gotten one in a while. My massage therapist was great and I was pleased with the massage and was already thinking this could be my new "go to" spa. I booked a 2nd appt with my therapist before checking out and then handed the woman at the desk my gift card who tells me there is $300 balance on it but I can't use it as it's apparently expired and I owe $160 for my massage. I have never been to this place and I was unaware that my gift card had expired. She informs me that I only had year to use it which I clearly had no information about nor did my gift card. Additionally a $300 Xmas present via spa treatment which I think is a pretty nice gift, the front desk woman dismissed the gift card and me as if my money was no good. I ended up paying the $160 for my treatment but walked away pretty disillusioned and knew I would need to attempt to resolve this with mgt/owner. Given the fact that the past few years have not exactly been "in person friendly" coupled with no info on the gift card i would hope that any small business owner would have some decency and extend some good will wanting to gain a new loyal customer as I was more than ready to be. I had already booked my second massage before I left my first appointment. And fyi my husband already paid this place $300 before anyone did anything. I emailed the owner a month ago and have yet to garner a email, voicemail, or text Response. I am surprised a business owner would pass up the opportunity to not only do the right thing but gain a loyal customer. $460 vs a thousand + $$ a year off of one customer? ‍ In the end I guess that was a pretty expensive one and only massage for $460. definitely not worth it. Many other places in the area to go to that not only focus on service at hand but customer service as well. read more

Had a wonderful time at Salon Serenity Spa. All of the ladies where very kind and attentive. Jordyn cut my hair and did a fantastic job. I am so content with the job she did on my hair. She was very patient and sweet and looked at all of my photos to make sure she understood what I wanted. Alex did my manicure and pedicure and she did a fantastic job as well. She is also very patient with me since I can be a bit piky at times but she was super sweet. Allison, the other nail technician, was kind and sweet too, she tried to help Alex and I find the perfect nail polish for my toenails that would match the gel polish for my hands. Front desk gal was very attentive and polite showed me around. I also met Renee, the owner of the spa, she was very nice too. The place is spectacular and high end. She has all of the high quality products. I saw they have the Moroccanoil brand for the hair and another high end hair product. They also have available Image and Glo which those are the products I use on my face, so good to know I can buy them here. The door is kept close so the can let one person at a time and the front desk gal, I forgot her name :(, she does a good job at monitoring that. I saw both of my girls disinfect their working areas after they where done with me. Clients are way separated and there is no crowding of people.
