Came through this station a few times during my stay in London. The Elizabeth line from Heathrow ends here as does the Heathrow express. National Rail also leaves from here. The Heathrow express is a 15 minute train from the airport. It's a bit pricey at $45 a ticket, so my preferred transportation from Heathrow is the Elizabeth line. Trains leave every 30 minutes and the price is roughly $15 per person. Apple pay is accepted or you can use a credit card that has contactless payment and just tap and go. In 25 minutes, you can be at Paddington Station. The Station is one of the largest with excellent signage and beautiful architecture. It's clean and easy to navigate. It has an open air concept with plenty of places inside to get something to eat while you wait or you can walk across the street and find some good pubs.

Loved it. Easy to get around and clean. Signs are easy to read. Someone is always around to help and answer questions.

Paddington Train station is so convenient to get to from Heathrow London Airport. I flew into Heathrow airport and got tickets from the manual machine to get tickets for going and coming back. The total for that was about $50.00 per ticket to get to Paddington. It is a super fast train which is only a 15-minute ride! So fast and super clean. Overall there are plenty of signs to help you find the Heathrow Airport on the floor of Paddington Station. If you are lost though don't worry just ask someone and they will be able to help you! I'm super sad though, I didn't realize there are statues of the Paddington bear around. Next time I will try to find it!! But a good option to get to other destinations as well.

Like most large main train stations around Europe this the hub that connects you to the airport, regional trains, commuter trains and high speed trains that go around England. Plenty of well placed sign boards that direct you to the trains and plenty of help points if needed. There is a lot of food and drink options here and of course some shopping as well. If you intend to travel by train around England you will likely end up here at some point. The Heathrow to Paddington express also starts and terminates here. It can be extremely busy so give yourself extra time just in case you have to walk around looking for your platform or to get from the tube to the main line train station.

I'm not sure of the station was named after the bear or the beat was named after the station, though I suspect that it is the second option as opposed to the first. In fact there happens to be a shop devoted to Paddington Bear in here, not that I actually knew about it when I was wandering through here. Mind you, the only reason that I ended up here was because it was the closest tube station, though that is a little tricky because there it is a pretty decent clip between one set of lines and other (which actually required you to go out of the station and around the back). It is also the mainline station of Great Western Railway, as well as the Heathrow Express, which is ridiculously expensive by the way. It still has its own character though.

Bustling, very busy train station outside London that serves as a hub for those arriving from and leaving out of Heathrow Airport. Even though it's crowded, it's not pandemonium unless you're transferring to the Tube. There's plenty of places to grab snacks and coffee as well. Not a total mess and I been to much worse train stations.

Although its fame is nowhere near Kings Cross, Paddington will probably be the London train station that you'll encounter more often especially if you are a tourist unless you live near Kings Cross or have to ride Eurostar! As the downtown terminus for the airport express train - the Heathrow Express - Paddington Station is the first point of central London for some, and it deserves so with its cleanliness and efficiency! Although it's a busy hub for London Underground and National Rail, Paddington Station's spaciousness and clear signage makes traveling here stress-free. If you want to stay in a cheaper accommodation without having to stay in a hostel and don't mind the distance from the major attractions, the Paddington Station area may be worth looking, because the station is also the nexus for many subway lines that'll connect you to anywhere in London!

Very airy and easily navigated station with many information boards conveniently located throughout the station made finding our platform easy. Multiple fast and fresh dining options and a pharmacy (thank you Jesus) supplied our last-minute needs for diet cokes and headache tablets :) We enjoyed traveling from this station on our way to Wales. When the Tube reconnects here, it will be double convenient. 5 stars

Cool station. Not as impressive as Victoria, but Victoria doesn't have a statue of Paddington, so this is better.

I have since passed through many times in the last 3.5 years and it is still magnificent. The architecture is very grandiose and picture-worthy. It is relatively easy to navigate; if I can do it as a tourist, I'm confident most can figure it out ;) The toilets (bathrooms) are a bit hidden. You need to go down a set of stairs for the ladies. The wallpaper reminded me of 2006 Victoria's Secret, and the doors are floor to ceiling offering the most privacy of any public restroom I have been in. The entire station is ridiculously clean compared to any US train or bus station I have traveled through. There are many options for coffee and food, as well as a mini M&S and Tesco Express.... Tesco Express meal deal for less than £4 cannot be beat!!! 5 stars for convince, cleanliness, friendliness, and Tesco Express.

However, I have to admit that this place does have to place in my heart because I ended up staying around the corner once so I ended up using this station rather frequently. Oh, it's pretty deep, and while they do have an elevator, they also have stairs, and I get the impression they recommend that you use the elevator despite the fact that it is really quite old.

It's quite an old station, one of the few classics remaining of the original Central London Railway by Harry Bell Measures. Despite having lifts to street level, this is not a step-free station. There is good signage including a "next train" display hanging from the ceiling. The platform curves slightly, so there is a small gap between the train and the platform edge on cars at the end of the train. Mind the gap. At street level, there is a staffed ticket booth as well as automated vending machines. The usual Oyster readers and ticket barricades too. Note: Bayswater station is only 100 yards away. If you're looking for Central/District line, it's much easier to just walk there at street level than taking a train and changing at Notting Hill Gate.
