You'll find the classics: chopsticks, ceramics, Lucky Cat statues, loose leaf teas alongside nostalgic snacks, fans, patterned paper, clothes/ qi paos, purses, and other beautifully designed everyday items. Everything is just so well curated, this is one of the best places to find a gift for someone when you don't know what you're looking for. Some of my favorite things to pick up here: Tiger Balm, lanterns, fans, incense sticks, tea sets, slippers. It's also still family owned and has been in operation for 55 years now (since 1971!). They also have a small location in Chelsea market but the SoHo location has a significantly larger footprint.

Nice place just to browse Chinese decors, knick knacks, clothes, snacks and condiments. I bought some nice pens and a beautiful silk scarf. Prices are reasonable. I happen to chance on their little art exhibit at the back. The Red Envelop show for Lunar New Year. Very interesting. Over all, i like this place, feels like it instantly transports me to China with out leaving NYc.

Stop and read this review if you want the best possible experience finding pieces that make you…read morefeel absolutely exquisite. I'm writing this review in order, starting with Tiffany, who honestly should be considered as the next owner or at minimum manager of this establishment. The grace, knowledge, and care she brought to this experience completely blew me away. I spent two and a half hours in this store and left with pieces I genuinely would have kept myself up at night regretting if I'd walked away without them. First, let's talk about Tiffany, because she made this entire experience, and then I'll talk about the products. Before that, something needs to be said. Corsets and pieces in this store are meant for events. For being seen. For adorning yourself and feeling beautiful in the world. They are not just for intimate moments behind closed doors, and it's time we stop thinking that way. You deserve to feel incredible, and this is the place to go. Tiffany I spent two and a half hours in this store. Tiffany was the first to greet me. She was always present when I needed her, yet I never once felt pressured. After I chose my first pieces, corsets, I spent most of the time in the dressing room, and Tiffany was there for everything, collaborating with me in the most thoughtful way. She taught me how to lace a corset and let me try it myself, which is no small task, but she was always right there to help. She was honest, genuine, and never salesy. The reason I walked away with so much is simple. She didn't have to push a thing. The quality of this store speaks for itself. She was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing details about a limited edition piece, one of only 15 in the country, and explaining how this brand created corsets for Beyoncé's Renaissance team. And she was absolutely right. The corset I purchased is the most comfortable, flexible, and beautiful piece I've ever worn. I can breathe, move, exist. I could honestly wear it all day and sleep in it, and I look incredible. I never felt rushed. Tiffany's timing was perfect. She was present when I needed help and stepped back when I didn't. She even brought my partner and me water. As a queer couple, we felt completely comfortable, welcomed, and celebrated the entire time, which meant more than I can express. For context, we were supposed to go to The Metropolitan Museum of Art that day, but this experience with Tiffany at Agent Provocateur was better than The Met so we skipped our booked entry time to the museum entirely. She listened. She was thoughtful. She was warm. Truly, Tiffany is a wonderful human being who should be highly favored in any room she walks into. If you want to know what it feels like to be a princess, cared for, guided, and pampered by another woman who genuinely wants you to feel your best, this is it. The Products Bikinis. Mature. Elegant. Beautiful. Chain pieces. Absolute dream pieces. I am now planning a trip to the Caribbean because I have always wanted a chain dress, and the one here was stunning. Any woman wearing it would look like a goddess. Corsets. An incredible selection. I loved all four I tried on. I had to make thoughtful decisions balancing desire with fiscal reality. At the very last moment, I was torn between two pieces. Tiffany said one thing that helped me make the decision that was genuinely right for me and ensured I chose the piece I would have regretted leaving behind. The pricing is a dream and absolutely fair for the quality you receive. I walked away with four pieces, and I am completely in love with every single one. Not a single regret. The Goodbye The bag and packaging you leave with are to die for. So beautiful that you cannot help but smile walking through the streets and taking the subway home, knowing what is inside that gorgeous bag. I was given clear instructions for my corset, which made me feel even more cared for and confident in my purchase. Tiffany even made sure to open the door for us when we were leaving, which honestly melted my heart. I had to give this woman a hug, because in two and a half hours she became my friend. How could women not bond in an experience like this? We brushed right up against closing time, yet I never once felt rushed. We were always exactly on time with Tiffany, and the entire experience felt intentional, calm, and complete. This is how retail experiences should feel every single time. Do yourself a favor and find Tiffany at Agent Provocateur. I do not live in NYC, but after the care, time, and intention Tiffany brought to this experience, paired with the quality of the products themselves, I can confidently say I will travel and work exclusively with Tiffany and Agent Provocateur in the future. That is how you create a lifelong, loyal client.

Our group consisted of 12 kids and 3 parents, and we were all looking forward to a fun end-of-year trip. Everything was going well until we visited the store for a second time. A security guard named Lasha, stepped in front of four girls and one boy, all between 13 and 14 years old, and refused to let them enter. The parents were waiting outside with the shopping bags, so we initially thought the issue might be related to the bags. To avoid any problems, we kept all of the bags with us. The kids were then allowed back into the store, except for my son, who was singled out and denied entry again. This was his first experience with the brand, and he had genuinely fallen in love with the clothing. He wanted to purchase a pair of shorts, so I decided to accompany him into the store. At that point, the security guard stepped in front of us and began speaking to us in a loud and confrontational manner in front of other customers and parents who were waiting outside. It was an extremely unpleasant, embarrassing, and uncomfortable experience for both my son and me. I understand that the kids were excited and may have been talking loudly, but the security guard's reaction was completely disproportionate to the situation. The level of humiliation was unnecessary and unprofessional. As a result, several of the kids became afraid to enter the store again. My son was eventually able to go inside only because I accompanied him. I would also like to acknowledge the store manager, who handled the situation professionally and listened to our concerns. He agreed that the kids were being loud, but he was understanding and respectful throughout the conversation. Despite the experience, my son purchased two shirts during our first visit and two pairs of shorts during the second visit. The store even offered us a discount, but my son was so uncomfortable after the incident that he wanted to leave as quickly as possible and avoid any further interaction with the security guard. While we appreciated the manager's efforts, the behavior of the security guard left a very negative impression and significantly affected what should have been a memorable and enjoyable shopping experience Beyond the incident involving my son, I personally witnessed the security guard behaving aggressively toward other customers. Several shoppers were looking through clothing stacks to find their sizes when he abruptly instructed them to take only the items from the top. His tone and demeanor appeared hostile and intimidating rather than helpful. This was not an isolated interaction directed only at our group. Observing similar behavior toward other customers reinforced my concern that the issue was not simply a misunderstanding, but rather a pattern of conduct that negatively affected the overall shopping environment.
