I am VERY disappointed in my LV bag that I purchased from Belks but sold by What Goes Around Comes Around. The bag actually looked good in the store and for the first 1-2 months. I purchased the bag December 2025 and the bag has major issues with the outside of the bag. I am NOT hard on my purse. I carried this one like I was carrying around a delicate glass piece worth lots of money. This was my first and most likely my last LV bag. I purchased an authentic Gucci Brown Princey Tote, but the bag I received was nothing like the one pictured in the listing. The photos were misleading, and the actual condition was far worse than advertised. It was obvious that no effort had been made to clean or condition the bag before shipping. Made a purchase on Lydia's "Live" and received a vintage Gucci tote with a musty, strong odor. After giving it one month to air out, the smell was still unpleasant and unacceptable. When I reached out to the business to seek a refund and return the bag, was told it was over 30 days and non-refundable. I have a rather well curated collection of vintage apparel and accessories that I've acquired over the years. Many are rare and unique but recently I've decided to part with a few pieces that don't get much wear time. After visiting their location I thought this might just be just the place to move them. I called and the less that enthusiastic person who answered, told me to email pictures to me and assured me they'd be in touch. A week later, nothing so I resent the email and pictures with a follow up note; again nothing. If I take the time to photograph a few things (Levis from the 1040s, Vuitton from the 80s and a one of a kind North Beach leather jacket from the 70s) at least give me the courtesy of a reply. After having visited the location, I wasn't surprised. My wife purchased a bag on 4/23 through Amazon. We received it and promptly returned it the same day 4/27. Only opening it to put the return paperwork in it. Although Amazon said it was refunded, no refund occurred. When following up, this retailer finally (3 weeks later) got back to Amazon and said they were refusing the return because "tags were removed". They are lying. My wife has collected Chanel for 40 years and we would never take a tag off anything. Total lack of customer service. Why would it take 3 weeks of pursuing the retailer only to find out they did not honor the return? I've written to the co founders, so we will see if they rectify such abysmal customer service. I was interested in a handbag I saw online. I sent several email asking for additional information and additional pictures which I received a response within 24 hours. This timeline was acceptable to me as I know I am not the only customer. After getting the information I requested I purchased the bag. Like others I did not get a confirmation or shipping email, however, I followed up with WGACA customer service and that to was responded to promptly, including tracking number etc. I recieved my hand bag in 5 days. It was well packaged. Prior to making my purchase I reviewed the return policy and also confirmed the process on a phone call. The bag was in very good condition, however, I decided to return it. I followed the return instructions that I was told in an email and confirmed the same on WGACA website. I did NOT remove the tags. Some reviews get irritated with this requirement saying " it just a tag". That tag is the authentication tag. My thoughts, Yes it's just a tag, however, I bet if that tag is removed the bag has to go through each authentication again. If your making a return, follow the policy, its not hard or tricky. After contacting WGACA requesting to return the bag I was sent a shipping label. I repackaged my return exactly like it was sent to me. Dropped it off a UPS, tracked my return and WGACA received it on a Monday. The next day Tuesday I received and email stating I would receive a refund. I received the refund on my card the same day. That was quick!! I had no issues. My online purchase and return went smoothly. I will shop again with them looking for specific vintage bags. As to value, the bags may be priced a bit more than average for the same vintage bag, not enough to detour me. I look forward to going to the standing retail location in person one day. read more

The merchandise is fantastic quality. I high-end vintage hunt fairly often and had some questions regarding authenticity on a few different items. The sales associates nailed the answers to my questions (I was assessing them as a first time shopper), proving they've been educated on the fashion they are selling (a must for any learned vintage buyer). We came very close to purchasing a vintage LV bag. While we changed our mind in the end, we would certainly purchase a bag here in the future. I climbed the steps up to this vintage boutique, not sure what to expect. I was immediately impressed by the environment and the presence of staff. I loved sifting through the unique vintage tees. Then, I hit the men's department and saw the Hermes cufflinks and tie bar set. Of course, I had to see them, handle them, and purchase them! They historically have had some pretty interesting vintage band tees despite the prices. I left New York a while ago but I came back for a visit in winter of either 2018 or 2019. I'm writing this now because I remembered and I'm still kind of livid and traumatized. I'm willing to let some things slide because I know the store has gotten a lot more notoriety and traffic since the old days. When I entered, no one greeted me (I don't need an annoying effusive host to smile at me and welcome me, but this wasn't the typical smug record store clerk who ignores you - this was kind of a "you don't look like you have money so why waste our energy" vibe.) I did however get attention from a gruff security guard who looked like he wanted to die, who made me hand over my bag. Ok. They do this at metropolis too but the people working there are actually nice and cool and helpful. So I'm cruising the vintage T-shirt's and there are maybe one or two max other customers in the place, one of which was clearly a stylist for some corny celebrity who wears band shirts with bands he's never listened to, and she was on the phone with her client or someone, and I think making plans to visit their appointment only showroom. I was mostly alone in this area, oh except the swarm of not subtle at all employees breathing down my neck in shifts. One employee was actually very nice and I think he felt awkward that this was his instruction- to stand behind me in silence and when I turned around to make palpable my discomfort, he'd just say "oh, uh, let me know if you need help" or "are you looking for anything in particular". I say no, Just cruising, as I very carefully inspect each shirt crammed onto the rack. The stock has plummeted, save for a T. rex baby tee that was like 2000$, everything was quite average and way overpriced (for example, an xxL Melvins stoner witch tee-- which is awesome- but not worth 700 bones.) nevertheless I keep digging just to see if I can find anything rad. I found a "sex pistols" (did they ever have merch?! That wasn't homemade and in a museum or SEX?!) shirt on the SHITTIEST shirt and an OBVIOUS iron on 8x11 sheet of some terrible makeshift collage of "punk" and pistols imagery, with a clear line of demarcation certain to peel melt and crackle with one wash. $300. Appalled. I gasped but had the decency to not say anything in front of a man and his young daughter who were looking at misfits tees. Once they left, I quietly and respectively just brought it to the attention of a blonde and disgruntled woman who may have been a manager? I didn't make a stink , I just quietly showed her, stupidly assuming a top brass there wouldn't be in on such a blatant, offensive , absurd scam. She completely condescended me and cut me off and was like "uh huh, cool, ok" and as I tried to hand it to her to maybe look it over, she shoved it back onto the rack and let loose an energy as simultaneously rotten and defeated as a c-diff fart. The utter lack of respect I was smothered in despite my genuinely trying to low key point out an egregious error and a chance to pull it from the shelves before someone really loses it was almost as disappointing as knowing this person gets paid to do ... whatever she does. She really shouldn't work with people and instead of assuming every customer is Winona Ryder on painkillers in a changing room at the nadir of her mental health, maybe she should take a class in vintage clothing (particularly T-shirts) knowledge as well as some basic human interaction life skills type education. Her rotten attitude haunts me to this day, like, even if her entire family died that day there's not an excuse for how miserable she was. Her delivery was like an unfunny untalented Rosanne Barr. Like "oh this shirt is fake? Lemme mock you wow that's so cool lemme jam It back on the shelf so one of my lackeys might make commission if some corny celebrity's child's stylist "pulls" it to wear to the kids choice awards. I wanted to vomit and was left so disoriented I ended up in the bag and jewelry half of the store just trying to get the FUCK out, like my vision was starting to fade. I will say, however, on that side there was a great attendant I think her name was Ann (e?). She was cool and had me fill out a form so they can keep a lookout for shirts I'm looking for (mostly the one that got away... a Kelly green 'til Tuesday shirt i once saw in their basement)... Anyway , rent is high, but trust your customers, upgrade your inventory, and fire half your staff , get them off customers backs, and whoever this woman was-- a human stench-- this wasn't just a bad day, this was clear that she has ZERO business working with vintage garments or human beings. i bought a bag online on Dec 9, I didn't receive a confirmation email but my card was charged the amount. I reached out to customer care twice, but got no responses. I reached out to what goes around comes around on instagram, and got a response but didn't give me a resolution. When I asked to follow up, they ignored me and didn't reply. The gift was for Christmas, and I have no idea what happened/if I will get it. I'm having such a horrible experience, especially with holiday gift stress. They advertise a bag at excellent and charge premium but when you receive it, it has leather damage that has been covered up and they refused to take the return and keep the bag and the money you paid for it on a technicality that I paid for tag that they put on a bag has been removed at place inside the first. They do not own up to the fact that they falsely advertise the the bag. After multiple emails they did not offer any refund and kept the bag that I returned. So I explain to them you are keeping the bag and my money to that which they replied you remove the piece of paper with the string from the bag after multiple emails and get into those emails, they decided that they're going to force me to keep the bag at our willing to return the bag to me. On Nov 22nd, 2020, my daughter and I stopped by the Soho store where my daughter purchased two jackets. One of them was a Moschino jacket. We don't live in NYC and it was months later that she wore the jacket. We noticed a blue ink-like stain on the jacket. It was soon apparent that the black lines on the jacket were drawn over by a marker and when her slightly wet hair touched it, the color bled. The black lines were colored in by markers to appear fresh and immaculate. The next time we were in NYC, I went to the store. My intention was to point it out to them hoping for an apology. The manager was extremely rude and said " her hair must have been blue as this jacket has no blue in it". Great, great selection of items from vintage Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent but used items should not cost over $300, especially for a mildly worn belt. What Goes Around Comes Around is a good vintage shop, not a thrift shop (only a small section with used, extra small "children" clothing for $10 and up), unless for those who think used items that cost an arm is within their price range.
