Everything absolutely exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail, compassion, and patience translated into a beautiful ceremony and burial that will stay with us forever. Mike Jr. gave us a suit of his own at no extra charge. They helped us arrange transporting my father-in-law back to his home of Queens NY in the middle of a pandemic at the epicenter. Wow. I could not believe the way my family has been treated recently. When you have to go to a funeral…read morehome it is likely at one of the worst times in your life. We are a low income family living paycheck to paycheck because one of us is currently out of work from an injury. Everyone knows that a funeral is -not- cheap. And it being an expense that is sudden and unplanned for.. can make it almost impossible to just have the money to pay out right for. So we were told that BS would do a payment plan and would work with us in our time of need. I could not believe the up front amount that was asked for. After we paid the amount leaving us hurting in the worse kind of way we find out that they've doubled (literally) the amount they required up front. I understand that this is a job they do. I know they must make money. But don't say you offer payment plans if your idea of payment plans is pay XXX today and in two days we'll double that amount to XXX. At a time like this you need people to at least pretend they are sorry for your loss. I wish we'd never ever heard of this place. My family is hurting and now all we can do is seethe with anger over being treated like we're nothing but dollar signs.
