The folks at Evans Dermatology are awesome. I went in today to have a general skin check and everyone from the front desk staff to Dr. Florentino were super friendly. Dr. Florentino took time with me to make sure I did not have any questions or other concerns while there. Unable to get a person/nurse on the phone and after leaving several messages still no reply. Oi was in the office a few days ago and since Dr. Florentino was on vacation I saw a PA. Prescriptions not working, rash is spreading, no itch relief. No response when I need their help. Dr. Florentino is the best there is but the response attitude of the staff is unsatisfactory in my case. UPDATE: A nurse called me and I am scheduled for an emergency appt. tomorrow. I will never return to this establishment again. My medical concerns overlooked and outright dismissed, and I felt rushed through my appointment. It makes me question if this is how they treat all their patients. This was a terrible experience, and I refuse to go back to a place that doesn't consider their needs. read more

My appointment at Dr. Florentino's office went well. The office staff at the front desk were very friendly and answered all my questions. I am very pleased with the short waiting time in the waiting room and in the room while waiting for the PA to come. When she did she checked the areas tt I was concerned with and gave me her diagnosis which was the same as I suspected. Then another nicelady came in and she was just as nice as Ms Cummings. I would reccommend Dr. Florentino to anyone who has a skin problem because they all did their job well and professionally. Don't believe all the negative reviews. I was hesitant about keeping my appointment afer reading them, but now I'm glad I kept it. This is why I' giving them a 10! I called Wellcare at the end of December and again yesterday because I have't gotten my ID card and then called the doctor's office yesterday and told them that, but I still had my 2022 card and told me to bring it with me and they would see me anyway. read more

(IMO) Fraud: 1. I called ahead and was told this doctor was in my network, and a cancer screening was 100% paid for by the insurance company. Almost two months later, I get a bill for $50 from Evans Dermatology. I called up the insurance company, and they said Evans Dermatology billed them for a "medical issue," - not a screening. There was no medical issue. In my opinion (IMO), this is fraud. 2. Also, the doctor (Frances Florentino) spent less than five minutes with me. read more

I made an appointment for a specific procedure that they had performed some years back. Once in the room, and after the copay was taken, I was told they no longer perform that particular procedure anymore. It was "bad". She provided other options that would take longer (and probably cost more). read more

Top notch staff at Evans Dermatology and Dr Evans himself is not only an excellent doctor, he has a wonderful bedside manner. As an orthopedic doctor myself, I look for the best and in my opinion he is excellent. That's why I go to him for my skin need and any treatment necessary.. read more

I don't know what is wrong with people and giving great customer service. I told the recpecionist that I would pay my copay and she said I had a balance, when I asked her what for she proceeded to make a phone call and make snide comments to the person on the phone about the bill. Yes it was a low bill, but considering I never got anything in the mail stating I owed anything I was going to ask questions. And continued to be unfriendly. This is not what you want your guest to first encounter. Other than that the doctors are great. Just need to adjust the front desk staff. Make it more personable. read more
