This place is an ABSOLUTE SCAM. I got my wife a $750 lip filler for a full syringe & it had ZERO effect. You know what that means? It means their products are diluted. You're paying full price for 1/4th of a product. Don't believe the billboards & reviews. All you need to do is ask if you can film & they'll reject your request. Board certified dermatologists ALLOW YOU TO FILM. Such a shame. What a waste of $750. August 13, 2025 I went to Souther Vanity asking to have threading done on my face due to my age on July 29. I had gone to Ideal Image on July 28 and was told that fillers would not help me with my jowl area. I meet with Sam, their expert, that told me that fillers in my cheeks and middle face area would help soften my lines. The way she explained it sound truthful. Then she said we could follow up with the threads if I wanted to but her first treatment plan call for me to get fillers. I had the filler done on my face on July 31. I was told it would take a week for me to see a difference and for the swelling to go down. On August 4, I did not see any difference at all. I toke before and after pictures. I spent $1400 on two springes of fillers for my cheek and middle face area. Yes. I expect my frown lines to soften some. I saw no difference at all. I wrote a letter on August 5 and sent to the business and I also called on that same day and told them I saw no difference. I was told I neededto get the threads done to see the any difference. My statemnet was that is what I asked for in the beginning. Since another business was honest enough to tell me fillers would not do anything for my face. I listen to their expert and I feel I just be taken for $1400 for twenty mintes of service. I will not gone again. I will make sure to tell my friends not to go there. maybe because I am a older Black female that fillers did not work on my face. I feel Sam just wanted to get as much money out of me as the could. Dr. Briana Brown took FANTASTIC care of my 3.5 year old. We aren't anywhere near home and not only added us on as a same day appointment, but as a new patient AND was able to put 2 stitches in my poor babies head from a fall he had! From the front office staff getting me scheduled and checked in promptly, to the wonderful medical assistant Katie being so sweet to my boy and getting him numbed for his stitches, this place was amazing. They even faxed the visit note for me to my practice at home for when these stitches come out. Highly recommend read more

I went here for a consultation just to get something looked at and I understood the last time I came here why I would've been a little bit more expensive but this place really likes to jack up the prices I canceled my appointment just based off the prices they charged me a lotttt for just seeing the doctor and talking to her for 3 to 4 minutes they didn't even do anything that day all we did was talk I feel that they were charging like that because they were just going through my health insurance and they felt like they could charge whatever they wanted so based off that I canceled my new appointment when I got a bill in the mail that said it was almost $300 just to talk to the doctor to 3 to 4 minutes and then when I ask them why they charge me so much money they said they'll have someone called me back and they never did so I have a feeling that they are going to charge me for my appointment that I told them 48 hours before hand I was canceling I was thinking the comments and reviews on here were fault information and I figured I would give them a try, but they really are scamming people out of a bunch of money because no doctors visit should be that expensive especially when they are doing nothing that day I wanted to help out this business, but they're not doing right by people and I think that's very inappropriate especially being a business owner myself I really hope they improve and the doctor stops doing what they are doing I didn't want to leave this review but they never even called me back to even tell me what's up so they obviously do not care enough which is really sad because they do good work but they overcharge like crazy but if someone would've talked to me and gave me proper care I probably wouldn't have left this review I really hope this business well. But they shouldn't be money, hungry like this when they get plenty of business. So just be wary when you go here. read more

This place looks extremely nice in their lobby. It is clean. The staff is nice. BUT that is all that I can say about the place. From my sons first appointment we were never given any documents to take home with us or emails for any specific LOGINS that we would need for my later rant. We filled out all docs online while waiting to be seen. The nurse is really nice and talkative but can also be very strange. My son has been a patient here for 3 months and I am ready to leave. IF I could, I would offer a zero star. They stressed for him to do Accutane which I was fine with due to the fact that he had severe acne. They also stressed that we use their online pharmacy that is not only based out of TX but also TN. They told me they would have enough of the prescription that some of our local pharmacies wouldn't have. Fine. But then I got the constant run around between the pharmacy and the Dermatologist about when the prescription would arrive and the approvals and yada yada yada that I never knew who to believe. Second visit with clinic went well enough for my husband and son that there were no complaints- great! Now, we go into the 3rd month and have to see the NP/PA whoever she was. She admitted that she didn't look at my sons file before the appointment. We talked about the general stuff. We have been waiting on my sons medication to well over 5 days. On day four I call the online pharmacy that I was using for him and they told me Southern Derm never called in a prescription for me. Both Big Pharmacy and myself call the clinic and got an automated message stating the place was closed but their website stated their office was still open. So Big Pharm could not process another prescription for us and suggested I call and find an emergency person to speak with so that we could process this. I was fuming. I emailed and left a detailed voicemail. I get a returned email this morning stating 1) their phone system was down and 2) the PA/NP had sent my sons prescription to our local pharmacy. Since when??? I didn't approve of this? When were they going to tell me. Here it had been 4 days and I no clue other than waiting for this script to show up on my front porch. I called the local pharmacy this morning and he did confirm that the Rx was sent there but they couldn't approve due to this other info they needed from my son/and dermatologist. Something I did not know of. HE had to take the time out of his morning to explain everything to me and stated he could fill it once I found out the info. Well....how the hell would I know any of this other than the Dermatologist setting up an account FOR ME...I ended up having to jump through hoops and call IPLEDGE who then walked me through the process. This place is a joke. I am done. I do not recommend. Customer Service is terrible. They may need to consider a new office manager. read more

This used to be Southern Vanity but just recently expanded not only its footprint but also its range of services. It's still located in the same area, just one building over in the same parking lot. I love the care here. The doctors are always willing to talk to you about what you are looking for and what your options are as well as your budget. I like to research but honestly, it's so much easier to just talk to a real person and I've never felt pressured here and have always left completely happy with not only my results but also my care here. They also offer "Botox parties" which may sound odd, but honestly, it's a nice way to try out filler at a discounted price with friends or neighbors. It's also not permanent, despite what some over the top pictures may look like on social media, it does wear off over time so if you aren't satisfied it's not forever. They offer discounts on occasion and they use an app called Allē that offers roughly $20 off every $200 spent, which is a pretty decent deal. They also offer a military discount currently. I highly recommend Southern Dermatology and its doctors. read more

Very disappointing experience. Office is not organized and doesn't communicate well, my treatments did not work (CO2 laser and hyfrecation) and they are not responsive to emails. However, Dr. Brown was initially responsive after my first appointment, but then it took almost 2 months to get other questions answered. Dr. Brown apologized and offered a free treatment. I tried to give them another chance and have had an even worse experience. Dr. Brown did give me time to ask her about a few things in our appointment, but when I went to schedule the new treatments, the front desk didn't know what to do. I told them Dr. Brown said something about a freezing and vascular scar treatment - well, that didn't mean anything to the scheduler, Caitlin, and she didn't know how to put it into the system and had to send a message to Dr. Brown about how to schedule it. Never heard back about this and it has been 3 weeks. Prescription not sent in either and Dr. Brown suggested a blood screening test and I tried to inquire by email about how to go about getting this done and heard nothing. I emailed 3 times with NO response, so I canceled my future appointments by email. Well, they got that email and sent me a text almost immediately that they were canceled. So they responded to that, but didn't have time to address my prescription issue, blood screening test question and Caitlin never followed up after she said she would send Dr. Brown a message.
