Nashoba air and boiler installed a heat pump in December 2021. Within a few months it stopped…read moreworking they quickly came out and refilled unit. And then a second repair that took two days to fix. They repaired the unit, but not all the water damage With streaks of bluish green down my new walls. Now warped and swelling. The leaking units caused damage to two bedrooms in my home as well as exterior siding. They denied and refused to supply me with their liability insurance carrier. They're so unprofessional. Other companies can install heatpumps. Who will stand-by their product and installation. Not Nashoba air and boiler. 0 stars should be an option!

I needed a shower mixer replaced, a simple repair that most homeowners could do in an hour or so…read more Since we only have one shower, I decided not to DIY -- if anything went wrong, it would have been a huge problem. Nashoba quoted $850 for the entire job, including labor and the part, which costs roughly $100. I was completely shocked. Then came the "discounts": $100 off, and when they saw I was still stunned, another $50. It felt like buying a used car, with a high-pressure negotiation designed to make me feel like I was getting a deal, when in reality I was being ripped off. If I hadn't shown my shock, I likely would have paid the full $850. The work itself was fine, and the technician was polite, but the price was outrageous. The national average for this job is $375-$450, and even in Massachusetts, the high end is about $575. I paid $700. I later learned that Nashoba Air & BoilerWorks is owned by Sila Services, backed by Goldman Sachs. This corporate structure adds overhead and drives up prices for customers. I thought I was hiring a local company, but I was wrong -- this is part of a multi-owner corporate platform. After reading other Yelp reviews, it's clear my experience was not unique. I wish I had read them first. If you want reasonably priced plumbing, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a genuinely local company.

Bill and Carmine D'Ambrosio went above and beyond my expectations to help me get an electric range…read moreinto my condominium this past month, after carbon monoxide alerts (from unvented fumes) necessitated shutting off the gas to my old range. D'Ambrosio Electric came wonderfully promptly to assess my job and submitted the most competitive bid of three that I considered--and Carmine (who had come to do electrical work here for me more than once, over the years--and his reliable work has stood the test of time: for decades, I think...I am glad his magnetic business card is still in my electrical panel so I could know right away who to contact first!) assured me that I had sufficient power for an electric range, despite another electrician's expressed concern about that question. D'Ambrosio Electric worked efficiently, even with the holiday season in full swing...and with a wall that apparently needs some more repair work done in it, we discovered--and (when the range installers came days later and discovered that a wrong cable had been attached to my new range, causing a BIG spark) Bill even came back the same day my range was delivered, the day after Christmas--when most other electricians were out on vacation--to check my range and the power situation...he even assured me that he could get my new range moved in--and he did indeed even work with a kind neighbor to install my new range by tilting it under an adjacent window ledge--after the two "professional" installers retained by the appliance dealer had told me they could NOT slide the new range under the window ledge, claiming that the range simply would not fit in the available space...so the "pro" installers had left the new range standing out on my kitchen floor for ME to figure out what next to do (they could only suggest cutting off the window ledge or cutting back the countertop to accommodate the range). I absolutely cannot thank Bill and Carmine of D'Ambrosio Electric enough for making my transition to the new electric range possible! The installation never would have happened without them, so they saved my whole 2024 holiday season and this New Year, too! (I am only now getting decompressed sufficiently to post this review, in fact, the ordeal has been so trying and draining--clearing a pathway for the old range to be moved out and the new range to be moved in--then moving everything back...how Bill has ever weathered all the work he did, I have no idea--I am just very, VERY grateful for all that D'Ambrosio Electric has done for me, over all these years.) FIVE+++++ STARS--or even more, if I could!

The asking price for the project came in lower than their competitors and yet their quality of work outshines the rest. I'm very pleased with the work they did and am glad to have someone I know I can trust in my future home projects!

I explained my situation so they made a schedule within a few days, not weeks. Two professional looking guys showed up on the exact time at my door and they finished within an hour. The quality of finishing the job was SUPERB!! and they also cleaned up my garage. The fee I paid was very reasonable compared to the offers I got from Amazon or another website. I left a message for Ryan at 2 pm on a Tuesday, he called me back right away and two of his guys showed up promptly at 7:30 Wednesday morning. They were consummate pros: They fixed three issues in an under an hour and checked the wiring of all the other exterior lights to make sure they were properly grounded. Peace of mind restored. His team was professional, courteous, prompt, and reasonably priced. Everything you hope to find in a contractor! Will be calling them again for all future projects.

Can we give a zero rating for Bryan? This is my worst…read moreexperience with any contractor and Bryan from B.P.Logue tops the list. He gave me a quote which we agreed and signed off on financing using Synchrony Bank (which he proudly displays on his web site). He completed the first half of the work and promptly collected his partial payment. Now, he refuses to work with Synchrony Bank and expects me to pay the balance amount WITHOUT installing the generator and completing the setup, activation and town inspection. The setup, activation and town inspection are clearly mentioned in the quote which we both signed. So far, for the past 4 months, he has refused to install the generator and complete the requisite work, but expects payment without installing the generator and getting the town inspector approval of his work. Beware of Bryan! He has a very condescending attitude and cannot be trusted. Ravi R.

He didn't call me or even respond to me trying to flag him down as he walked to his car.
