We bought a sectional back on August 2nd. Part was in stock, the other half we were told would take 4-6 weeks to come in. On week 6 I called and asked for an update. I was told it was done and ready to ship and should come in another week. We are now over 14 weeks out from the purchase date!!! We still don't have the other half of the couch. Every week I get told it will be one more week. But yet it never comes. I've gotten zero good answers and have been told they can not discount us any for our inconvenience of having family in town and having to put fold up chairs in our living room to sit on. We paid thousands for a couch we only have one part of. We asked if we could bring the one half back and get a refund, so we could go get a couch somewhere that can fulfill the order. They said no they can't do that. So here we sit with no couch, no refund, and no clear answer on when we will get the rest of our couch that we paid in full for 14 weeks ago. As for me and any of my family, we have marked this place off the list and will no longer spend my money here. read more

Purchased a Catnapper recliner a year ago. A few months later, the seat popped up and the heating element went out. Contacted and had to fill out a Warranty Request with pictures. Received reply I would have to pay $60 to send someone to see if the manufacturing defect or normal wear and tear. It took over two months for Fast Furniture Repair to come and verify it is a manufacturing defect. Had to call to get a refund of $60. I received the parts and contacted them immediately. It has now been another two no the and chair is not fixed!! Overstock says they can't help because of third-party!! Also stated "Unfortunately we do operate on a all sales final policy."!! All the positive reviews are probably based on they tell you they don't get "commission" but if you put their name and positive review, they get a "bonus"! I initially left a positive based on that, but changed to an accurate review today!! read more

Do not shop here. I paid $650 for a couch in July. I asked for a refund and originally they said they would send it but now are saying no refund and no couch. Please read their response to me below. (2-23-2020) Update 3-14-2020: we ordered our set on 2-23-20 and we were quoted that our shipment would arrive between 2-3 weeks. Called them to check status and they said it should arrive end of next week. But it's not certain. I understand that things happen but when the sales associate says it will "definitely be here in 2-3 weeks" but now we will be waiting at least 1 month it's extremely frustrating. So we will be waiting at least a month before receiving our items. I texted the customer service # and had to repeat my question that I asked multiple times before getting an answer. Horrible customer service! Bought a couch and was told I had to pick up within 7 days M-F. Drive an hour away to go pick it up on Thursday and they tell me I have to come back this weekend because they don't do that on Thursdays. Tried to work with them see if they could help us out or give us delivery, since I was told wrong information by them. This place is full of crap! We purchased furniture January 2, 2021 and they informed us it would be 6-8 weeks, 10 weeks maximum due to COVID-19 slowing down deliveries. It's has been over SIX MONTHS and I am still waiting for furniture. They have lied and provided superficial dates of when they expect the furniture to be delivered and the those dates come and go. When I have asked about why the furniture is delay. They have blamed everything from the Texas ice storm to Ashley Furniture not getting trucks. Which is a lie because I know people have purchased furniture from Ashley furniture well after I purchased mine and they have already received their furniture. The communication is horrible, they do not contact you to let you know it is delayed. If I do not contact them, I would not have any answers. I will never purchase furniture from them again. If they tell you 6-8 weeks is most likely a lie! If they had a no star option, I would give them that! read more

Very disappointed with this place! We bought a living room set of a sofa, love seat, chair and ottoman on Nov 1st 2019 and the sofa broke already! I filed a claim with them to find out there is a fee to have a tech come out to see if it can be fixed or not before they will even discuss returning our set. Furniture is by Ashley but is the worst low quality set I have ever owned. I DO NOT recommend buying from this place. They only got 1 star because I couldn't give less. read more

This store is not what you think. They post lots of great deals, but when you contact them, 5 minutes after they open, you get the same old response. "it looks as if that item is very popular and we are sold out." I picked out several pieces, but they would have to order them?!?! Come to find out, they just order the items in and they are not overstock items on hand. And it was going to take 3 weeks or more. testing my theory on my last trip, I was in the parking lot at noon on Friday and sent a message at the moment I saw the guy unlock the door. Not a customer had walked in yet. Had been closed all week. But the message I got back was the same "it looks as if that item is very popular and we are sold out, but we can order the item for you." Have to agree with other reviews. Bait and switch seems to be their bag. In the end, we walked away and found the same or better pricing at a smaller store that had the items to us in 6 days. read more

I bought furniture and paid for it to be delivered and put together. I ordered an entire king bedroom set and a sleeper sectional.I happened to notice the bedrail was damaged and pointed it out right away. I did not notice the bedroom end table had scratches on the top and bottom corner until after they left. I called customer service within 24 hours to reslove the issue with the end table. I was informed that once you sign and the delivery guys leave your furniture becomes as is. Basically not their problem. The customer service manager ( lauren i believe) was matter of fact and could care less. I was informed that they couldn't get their money back from the manufacture so not really their problem anymore. So if you do decide to use this company i suggest you inspect and every corner every piece with a flashlight. By the pictures it appears it was scratched when they unboxed it ( looks like stables from box). I spent money at this store for good customer service and quality furniture, and got a rude customer service manager and damaged furniture that I paid full price for. After the conversation I realized the delivery men had to of noticed both of the issues but never said a word. So not only was I dealing with a company that could care less about my issues I was dealing with an unhonest delivery man that didn't speak up when he noticed he damaged the furniture or unpacked it damaged. I purchased a dresser from them. Online it said "assembly required" so I assumed it would be in a bunch of pieces to be put together. When I picked the dresser up, it was already put together. Which would have been nice; however, my home has narrow Hallways and the dresser would not fit through the hallway to go into the bedroom. I was not able to take it apart because it had been glued together. I called to see about returning it for a smaller dresser, and they refused to take it back! They said they do not do exchanges or returns. Absolutely crazy, this all happened over the course of one day. As soon as I picked it up I tried to get it in the house and found it wouldn't fit. There is plenty of hep in the store, but only two confused teenagers in the back screwing up your new furniture. Save your time and money and never shop at Evansville Overstock unless you want to be cheated, lied to, and out of money. Absolutely terrible customer service and management. Showed a salesman an online listing of a storage bed that had 6 drawers underneath. When the bed was delivered, it only had 2 drawers. After calling customer service, I was told it was MY fault because I didn't notice the wrong parts were ordered initially. Sorry, I don't work at your store and know what parts need to be ordered by looking at an invoice. I trusted your salespeople. I went in the store after this with printed proof of what I originally had showed the salesman. He agreed with me and ordered the extra drawers free of charge for us. I was then contacted the next day by the same salesman and was told management did not approve of the correction he made. Management told him he would lose his job if he gave us the drawers for free. (DRAWERS THAT WE ALREADY PAID FOR.) Management refuses to correct THEIR mistake. I may just be one person, but you've lost my business and future recommendations. read more

I was extremely unsatisfied with my experience. When looking for furniture in November I was well aware the the pandemic had taken a toll on manufacturing. And so when I placed my order and the salesman very confidently told me my order would be here in 6-10 weeks maybe even sooner, I had prepared myself for a couple weeks later than that ETA. While waiting for my order I have touched base a couple a times to make sure the order was still on track. Each time I was told my couch would arrive on the 10th week. Well, fast forward to the 10th week and my ETA had an additional 8 weeks added onto it. My wait time did not only increase it nearly doubled. When I spoke with customer service I was not offered a discount or a refund. I was told it wasn't there fault because it was a manufacturing problem. I'm sorry to say it is in fact their fault that they have sales people telling people ETAs and not giving their customers any warning that they are still having issues. I was not given a realistic projection so that they could make a sale and I will not be returning to this store. read more

Awful service. Paid cash for a bed and a sectional and it's been well over a month and a half might be close to two months before I get what I paid for that day in cash. My furniture arrived today and they can't even tell what day or time it's going to be delivered. I'm a grown ass man I have a schedule I paid in cash and they think it's gonna be ok to call me the night before and tell me when they can come. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone the customer service is plain flat out terrible. I work with a guy who said they even delivered the wrong shit to him and he called and told them he had to open it to make sure. Called back to tell them it was the wrong furniture and tried saying they might not be able to take it back. After convincing them that he wasn't going to take it seeing as it wasn't what he bought, these assholes proceed to tell him he would be responsible for bringing it back! So he did and I'm told he's still waiting on his furniture. Hopefully they can deliver the right thing this time. Terrible terrible store would never go back or recommend it. purchased 2 bedroom sets in March 2021. paid half to order it that was mandator. was told could be 4-6 months which was the normal. my sons bedroom set came in August and my dresser. they told me the rest of mine would be in the end of August. I asked to wait until everything was in for it all to be delivered. they told me no and said my sons furniture would be sold to someone else if I didn't take it now and had to pay the other half of my bill even though the rest of my bedroom furniture was not in. so forced to take my sons and my dresser only. well end of august came then every month after until got a call in November saying the vendor they deal with says end of April 2022. it's been every month since and was just now delivered today on June 22, 2022. poor business and blamed covid for everything and vendor that they deal with not my problem. This place is all about bait and switch. Taking the floor model is probably the way to go because you don't want the castaways from the back. The employees stroll around looking depressed and act irritated when asked questions. The price points look good at first but look closer. Turn cushions upside down, take a look at the hardware, etc. It's really dark in there for a reason and it's not because of "Low Overhead, Low Prices". It's slightly better than a tent sale in a parking lot because they carry brands like Ashley (but it's the budget Ashley Signature line). Went in and had to ask to get waited on. No one came up to me and asked me if i needed help. We found a set we liked and went on to buy it. The young sales man told us that following week between Monday-Tuesday we should recieve our set. We still havent got a call and cannot get ahold of anyone.
