I have had my Catnapper zero gravily chair 6 wks. I use it to sleep in. it dropped me in the middle of the night . it turned over backwards with me. I was trapped between the chair and wall. it took me 30 minutes to squarm around to finally be able to get up. I am 75 yrs old and fighting cancer I have a couple of bleedy places on my arm and leg. Kings want to repair , what ever is wrong with the chair. Not replace with a different one. It is an over size chair for my weight. The web site for Catnapper says that 250 lbs is limite. I am 251. I DO NOT WANT THE CATNAPPER CHAIR. read more

My daughter bought a commercial refrigerator from them with the money I gave her, -big mistake but that is another story-she told me that she paid $4000 for that fridge. It was not worth it. She has has it going on three years and the ice maker has broken down twice! It just stopped working again for the third time and while waiting for the part to come in, it decided to start working again. Plus I'm on my second matteress from their store. The one I did have before this one, gave out at the 10 year mark and I didn't sleep on it that much since I was living with my mom. The new matteress is giving out fast since I moved in with my daughter in 2021. I will buy my own matteress from now on and it won't be from an appliance store! read more

This was the worse bunch of people I've ever encountered. We ordered a washer and dryer on Jan 21st. 6 different scheduled deliveries.4 times they brought damaged washers forgot to bring dryer. Then we agreed to keep a damaged washer until they got more of the model we wanted in. So they deliver a dryer. The drum was so dented it wouldn't turn. 3 weeks into this nightmare managers Jamie and Mike wouldn't even return Our calls. Never did. We paid 50 dillars tk have our old ones removed but the delivery guys were so lazy they said it was unsafe to get up the stairs. But the next ones who came for a blunder delivery they got ot right up and out the front t door. I ended this circus by telli g them come bet their damaged washer and we wanted nothing from them. We went to BIG SANDY where they want to sell appliances and are true professional. If I could get nobody to ever go to Kings for anything I definitely would. Those people are a joke and dont even communicate when it's them making the mistakes. I literally can it believe either if those managers could run a lemonade stand. No stars if I could. Been battling with them over a month. Kings is a ghost town. Not one person knows what they're doing. They have no manners nor communication whatsoever between front desk, supervisor, Managers, salesman's, delivery or pick up. Bring the wrong bed leave the new wrong bed, say you have it but don't have it. Buy the used floor model, can't have it. I've heard it all. The Fact that someone won't take any accountability for this mishap, someone was left with nothing to sleep on for nearly a month their should be repercussions especially when someone has health and back problems. I usually don't give bad reviews but I need to make people aware of the rebates. Between my daughter and I we spent $6,000 on appliances with rebates. We tried for months to get our rebates and finally went to the manager and he accidentally sent an email to us that I assume was for the manufacturer saying that we were wearing him out just because we were trying to get our rebates. I find this very unprofessional. The reason I even gave two stars is because I do like their appliances and we also liked our salesmen however none of my family will go back there because of the way we were treated. If the manager had kept on the manufacturer we wouldn't had to continually ask for our rebate. read more

Background to my rating......1 Looking for a piece for our couch & walked out with a 86" TV, dishwasher & the piece for the couch. Salesman was very nice & not pushy, which was a great surprise......that's the only thing I can say nice about the company Delivery was scheduled for Saturday (TV & dishwasher), we were told that the TV would be delivered at 0900 but had to call at 0930 for the dishwasher. TV was on time but after calling 4x times (between 0930-11:10) finally getting a 3hr window (4-7pm) delivery time for the dishwasher. At 6:45pm, I called the store due to no delivery; I was told that they were busy. The driver calls at 7:15pm stating that he will be there in 45mins! Arrived & started installing but we realized that it was the wrong dishwasher. After a call to the Manager by the driver, we were told that he will contact us on Monday. Monday, Tuesday no call from the Manager but I went to the store & left a message for the Manager to please call me. He calls my wife & makes arrangements for Thursday delivery after 5pm. Thursday at 6:30pm, I called the store because no delivery. The front desk had no clue of our delivery & would contact the manager, never heard anything back that day. Friday, I received a call from the manager asking if Saturday morning or Monday evening would be feasible. He also stated that he would provide compensation for our time & issues we have had. Very hesitant on making "another" scheduled appointment, we decided on Saturday morning at 0900. At 10:20, the driver arrived with the correct dishwasher.......!!! I have called multiple time & store visits to talk with the manager & after 2wks of trying, I still have not heard from him. We still don't have confirmation that the couch piece (which brought us into the store in the first place) was even ordered. We were told that payment would start after we have received everything, which was incorrect .....payment is already due. I HIGHLY recommended NOT shopping at this company....... After they received our/your money.......the customer service & communication is over !! read more

Not sure really where to begin with this store and it's never ending nightmare for me to get appliances. We ordered several items that were suppose to be delivered Saturday to our new house we bought, the most important item being the fridge. Fast forward to Monday evening when they finally bring a fridge, the wrong one naturally, with no cords with my stove like there was suppose to be. Now I am on to Tuesday where I am waiting all day for my fridge which will take 12 to be cold enough to have any food in my own house. So unless you like dealing with unintelligent, no organization, and just general non stop stress for your house hold needs, then by all mean call them. If not, save yourself, time, a headache, and beer money, and just go someone who can actually do the job that they claim they can do. read more

Let's face it - having to buy a new laundry pair because my old one clunkered out - isn't my idea of a good afternoon. First of all I was shocked at the inside of this store - it's very modern and colorful and it doesn't have that dull, cold feeling that I figured it would have. Second. Although it's not necessary it's and added bonus...they have working washers and dryers for you to actually play with to figure out the features (from a man's standpoint I think this was pretty good) Third. I usually try to avoid salespeople but it was pretty cool to have someone explain why I would need the different features. So all in all it was as pleasant of an experience as I think I could have had spending all my food and drink money for the month on laundry :) read more

Seriously great great place if you're looking for a spot selling appliances, electronics, furniture, etc. My wife and I just purchased a washer dryer combo from Stan at Kings and it was a great experience. I believe the salespeople work on commission but it's a no pressure atmosphere. I recommend talking to Stan there he will take care of you. read more

My family and recently visited Kings Best Buy Oct 4 and was greeted by sales rep(Stan) who showed us a mattress and accessorys we liked- the rep informed my wife and I our daughter that our purchase would be delivered on following Thurs 8th if we purchased now - longer than we wanted to wait but acceptable regarding our purchase decision. We paid in full and prepared our bedroom for promised delivery date. We called the store Thursday to check on approxiamate time our order would arrive. My wife was quickly informed by phone receptionist that "no way our salesman told us thursday" and " we dont know when it will be delivered and we were not told it would be today. My wife was upset and asked for a manager and got the same " NO WAY OUR SALESMAN TOLD US IT WOULD BE DELIVERED TODAY". My wife was very upset by the stores "were right your wrong" unapologetic attitude and she would like to come get a refund and Matt abruptly said "well come get your money" and was hung up on. I left work early left my upset wife at home and arrived at Kings around 3:15 to get our refund. An apologetic clerk informed I would have to return Friday afternoon to get my refund because no one was here that could do my refund, of course so called manager Matt had "already went home for the day" and could not have cared any less about my special trip to Evansville only to be told I was getting my refund whenever they could get around to cutting a check. Wasted time,gas, and a horrible experience at KIngs BB where they will say anything to take your money and then care less delivering on their word. Worked out for the best anyway I was sold a no-name mattress and a $100 cover the "warranty required" on some iAmerica mattress no one including the internet has ever heard of at Kings and was lucky it was not delivered as promised. I went to my local Sears store (Henderson) and purchased Sealy pilowtop icomfort set with no money down -no interest for 24 mo and was treated like a customer by a professional retailer who really strives to please the customer. GO TO A PROFESSIONAL RETAILER WHO KNOWS THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT A JIP JOINT like KINGS WORST BUYS AND SERVICE. read more
