They meant well and the staff was cool, but I'm not coming back for romantic or "just because" gifts. The lady taking the order explained the difference in the price of the ones showed on line. I ordered the premium package of a smaller peace lily with yellow roses and yellow tulip's, with the understanding that there was to be more roses and tulip's. Now in what was shown was 6 roses and 2 tulips. The plant that was delivered for my Aunt's funeral was not even as big as the one in the standard package. I had 1 extra rose and 1 extra tulip. There was only 1 spatch in the peace lily. I was so hurt, angry, and disappointed. Please people do not buy from this florist, unless you are right there to see them make it. This florist even put roses in a casket spray that were dying. Some of the pedals on the roses where discolored and falling off. For a casket spray you put dead flowers. Shame on you, poor management and poor service. When we called to complain, we were asked what could they do. You could have cared enough and did the right thing to start with!! The driver likely rang my doorbell when I was in my garage preparing to leave. I did not hear it. I noticed a van as I pulled out, but no signage to identify it as a florist. So I drove off. It was delivered @ 4:00 pm. I got a call from the gift giver a bit after 7:00 pm. asking me if I'd been outside that day. Needless to say the flowers were on my front porch & had been for 3 hours. Temps were at least 80 deg. I brought the flowers inside. There were a few limp flowers but the arrangement was still beautiful. They were so fresh & of such good quality they survived. When you open the door to Tonella's your senses are greeted with a vibrant flower wall and the scents of a wonderful variety of flowers. Snap a picture of yourself in front of the flower power wall and the owner greets you and offers a beverage. Mimosa? Um~ yes!!! The flower wall continues with individual hanging vases full of blooms and buds for you to handpick a bouquet or have them design something for you. I wasn't able to visit my daughter in the hospital when she gave birth and she just had a birthday- so I thought, I can pick out a small bouquet and surprise her! She was waiting in the car feeding little Riley while I popped into a couple of stores. I picked a couple of double tulip stems in a gorgeous, vibrant pink, a couple of sunflowers, these bell flowers that were white with a hint of purple and a bundle of filler stems with dainty little flowers to complete the small bouquet. The flowers were arranged and wrapped up while I sipped my drink and I happily gave the bouquet to my daughter back at the car! She was thrilled and said it was the nicest flowers anyone has ever given her- awww. I also made sure to arrange them in a vase when we got back to her house.
