The owner(s) decided to build a house in the city, with a beautifully manicured yard that you would have to see. Once I got inside the first time I was greeted by the owner who was incredibly friendly and went through the options and asked me all types of questions as I had mentioned I wasn't sure what to get. She also asked me on budget, without trying to pressure me into any category. The nicest thing I've heard someone say, was when she recommended I wait until the afternoon that day as she would have fresher flowers by then. Once I received the flowers I was very happy with the selection, and my wife was incredibly happy as well. This had me decide for Valentine's Day I had to come back! Before I came back I called ahead and asked again for her thoughts and she guided me based on a few questions to a fantastic solution. She also asked again on my budget, and made it based on this. The picture I have is based on $100, which I find incredibly reasonable. Today when I picked up the flowers, the store was very full, but the owner (and daughter I think?) had brought in extra help in anticipation of the volume. I was apprehensive on my wait time as I pulled up, but was helped rather quickly, and was very happy to hear I hadn't been forgotten from last time! I've recommended several people and will continue to as this will be my go to place, and I'd recommend the same for others, as it's definitely the best in Pasco County!

When you open the door to Tonella's your senses are greeted with a vibrant flower wall and the scents of a wonderful variety of flowers. I picked a couple of double tulip stems in a gorgeous, vibrant pink, a couple of sunflowers, these bell flowers that were white with a hint of purple and a bundle of filler stems with dainty little flowers to complete the small bouquet. The flowers were arranged and wrapped up while I sipped my drink and I happily gave the bouquet to my daughter back at the car! The lady taking the order explained the difference in the price of the ones showed on line. I ordered the premium package of a smaller peace lily with yellow roses and yellow tulip's, with the understanding that there was to be more roses and tulip's. Now in what was shown was 6 roses and 2 tulips. The plant that was delivered for my Aunt's funeral was not even as big as the one in the standard package. I had 1 extra rose and 1 extra tulip. There was only 1 spatch in the peace lily. I was so hurt, angry, and disappointed. Please people do not buy from this florist, unless you are right there to see them make it. This florist even put roses in a casket spray that were dying. Some of the pedals on the roses where discolored and falling off. For a casket spray you put dead flowers. When I first spoke with her, she already had an attitude. After we agreed on a price, she tried to raise it to almost double just because we wanted to add more flowers. I showed her a circular setup. She delivered a small square. It wasn't even close to what we discussed. On the day of the proposal, she showed up 30 minutes late, which pushed everything back because the setup wasn't ready. The flowers she used were low quality, nothing like what she advertised. She also required us to bring all the pillows, tables, and glasses, which was surprising considering the price she charged. After comparing prices with other vendors, it became clear how overpriced this business is. She also only accepts payment through Zelle, which conveniently prevents any type of chargeback. Looking back, that says everything. The most unprofessional part happened right before the proposal. She didn't pay for parking even though there are signs everywhere. She got a parking ticket and instead of taking responsibility, she texted me a picture of the ticket five minutes before I got on one knee, blaming me for it and telling me to pay for it. My photographer parked in the same area and had the common sense to pay without needing instructions. The setup itself was tiny. When I asked her to make it bigger so both of us could fit, she gave more attitude and called herself a "professional" instead of fixing the issue. This business is unprofessional, overpriced, and completely unreliable. The whole experience felt like a scam. I would not recommend this vendor to anyone, for any reason.
