I pointed out where I hits most and she started stubbing the needles right away. I luckily found other provider did better consultation and provided me recommendations. If you have chronicle pain and know exactly what works for you, go to her. But if you need to figure out what causing the pain and problem, find other place.

The only acupuncturist I saw here was Dr. Lili. She is very abrupt, impersonal, and robotic. No compassion. She tells you which room to go in, but not whether to take your clothes on or off, or whether to wear the gown with the front or back open. Sometimes she comes in before you are fully dressed or undressed, and doesn't seem to think that you might be embarrassed or have a problem with this. She tells you to meditate and expects you to know how. The rooms are cold, the tables are not heated, and sometimes there is no gown to change into. No music or gentle sounds play. She offers cup therapy, and puts them on roughly, and they hurt and leave large red spots on your skin that take at least a week to fade. She leaves right after putting them on and doesn't say when she will return. She offers her own herbal remedies but won't tell you what's inside them even if you ask. She also offers her own vitamins but won't bill your insurance for them, so you have to pay out of pocket if you want them. Often she asked me questions that I already answered on previous visits.

Dr Joe was terrific. Very personalabble. And very knowledgeable. After a quick physical…read moreexamination, I went and got ready and lied down. Dr Joe came in and he knew exactly what to do. Had a muscle pull in my back after bending over to lift something, and he relaxed the muscle quickly. Some acupuncturists I've seen, took a couple visits to clear something up. And he said if it still aggravated me to come back, but it was fine after the first biso and did not return. I will definitely go back in the future and have already recommended him to some others.

Dr. Zhou is no joke. I had acupuncture treatment in FL before moving here 5 years ago and I went…read moreevery 3 weeks. I met him for our initial appointment, long before COVID, and he looked at me, held my wrists and took my pulse and it was literally like he saw my soul. I was 80lbs overweight, depressed and angry. He said to me without me disclosing ANY of that, "we fix this (and pointed at his heart,) THEN we fix this and pointed at his head." Fair to say MIND BLOWN. I was used to acupuncture by a Chinese trained but American woman doctor in FL, and when she put the needle in she would "tap tap tap" it in. It sometimes hurt or stung, but the relief was what I needed, and it was all that I knew. When Dr. Zhou began treatment I didn't feel ANYTHING and I asked if he was doing anything and he laughed. I told him what I had experienced prior, and he said what he does is Chinese acupuncture. You shouldn't be feeling the needle at all. Well I definitely did not. While I was there, he asked if I'd had a flu shot, I said no, so he said he would give me "Chinese flu shot." I have to tell you, that Christmas, my husband, and both kids got the flu, as did mom, but I did not. Say what you want but Chinese medicine and acupuncture have been around far longer than Western Medicine, and I use both. Dr. Zhou treats you so that he doesn't have to see you regularly. He treats you to heal your issues. And he is reasonably priced and amazing at what he does. Could NOT recommend highly enough. I'm just remiss I haven't reviewed him until now.
