I have been dealing with a sport related injury for the past year and had no luck at resolving it and getting back on the court. I called and Amy was very helpful and said that she would try to get me in as soon as possible. This in fact turned out to be two hours later as she called back to say there was a cancellation. She was very knowledgeable about insurance and took care of everything for me. I met with Dr Weber and was immediately impressed with his desire to listen and take notes as I shared my history with him. He spent a good amount of time checking my injury and looking at my posture and discovered some areas that needed to be worked on. I liked that he included me in the decision making process and he developed a plan to get my pain down to manageable level. I have been seeing Dr Weber for around 6 weeks and he has made a huge difference. I am now back playing Tennis and my pain has subsided to the point that I am not thinking about it all day. I know I am not 100% yet, but I have the confidence in Dr Weber to get me there. I like that he tells me to try different things and is very open and collaborative. Recommended by my massage therapist several years ago, I visited Kelsall Chiropractic Clinic and loved it for many reasons. I have been a patient of Doctor Kelsall's for about 6+ years and I am very pleased with the treatment I receive from her as well as from her staff of fantastic massage therapists. I've been seeing Karen since she first went into practice. She totally understands my health needs and goals, which is to basically continue playing soccer as long as I can. I am now 48, and she's been my chiropractor for more than 13 years. What I love about her treatments is that they go way beyond a simple chiropractic adjustment: she's used kinesiotape, cold laser, massage, ice, heat, and exercises. She's also recommended nutritional help with supplements and I feel her advice always goes beyond the simple Western medical rule of drugs and surgery. I have been going to Dr. Kelsall on a regular basis for 14 years. She has seen me through two car accidents, two pregnancies, shoulder injury, sprained ankle, elbow injury and ongoing hip issues. Each session starts with heat treatment and a massage so when it's time for my adjustment my body is ready and the adjustment gentle. With Dr. Kelsall's amazing table I don't even feel half of the adjustments. Sometimes my neck is a challenge and she never forces it. She has a special tool she uses instead. With Dr.Kelsall's background as an athlete she has been extremely effective at keeping my body healthy so I can remain active. I have been going to Dr Kelsall's practice for about 6 years. I went initially to see her because I had a pain in my back--it was because of her practice's expertise (and I am not being dramatic here) it saved my life. My general practitioner examined my back and gave me some Valium--to no avail. When Dr Kelsalls's practice examined me, they told me that there was nothing wrong with my back muscles or joints. It made me worried enough to go to the emergency room, where I found out I had pulmonary embolisms. If not for their expertise, I really could have died. I am not just a fan, I am a super fan. I have taken my 12-year-old son their for pain in his knees and for his orthotics. I have sent my chef friend there to work on her sore arms and back. I first started seeing Dr. Weber for preventative healthcare- I had previous back pain and his treatments helped keep the issues away. But then one night, I severely injured my neck/shoulder from sleeping weird (and on a crappy, dilapidated mattress)- I was in so much pain I could barely get out of bed and couldn't even turn my head even in the slightest to my right. I was completely crippled! Dr. Weber saw me immediately that morning and I felt immensely better after his treatment. I continued to see him weekly for follow up appointments and started recovering pretty quickly. I am so thankful for his expertise and care. You feel good the moment you walk into the pretty waiting room and are greeted by the friendly office manager. I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Weber this morning at Kelsall Chiropractic. I am a nurse and while at work I am constantly lifting heavy patients resulting in pain and soreness in my back and neck. Dr. Weber was able to relieve much of my discomfort in just one visit by heat application, arthro stimulation, massage, and manuel adjustments. As a nurse I see patients consistently opting for pharmaceuticals and surgery rather than striving for preventative medicine and/or alternative medicine, which initially may not be the best option. Dr. Kelsall has been an absolute necessity in my life! I started seeing her about two years ago and she has released old tension in my back that I thought would never get released. She focuses on the entire body and her approach with a lead in massage to warm up the body is simply genius. She has been treating me for a sports-related shoulder injury and her treatment is the only reason I can sleep through the night without waking up in pain. Both my wife and I have been seeing Dr. Kelsall for about a year and couldn't be more pleased with our experience. Personally I had an ankle injury that was causing my hip muscles to lock up -- my ankle joints had become fixed and tight and therefore changed my running stride. I just moved to Portland last year and was on a search for a new chiropractor. I guess the third time is the charm as Dr Kelsall was my 3rd try at finding a GOOD chiropractor who could work with me. She has a fabulous approach, very tuned in to her clients and her staff is great. I'm more than happy w/ her approach to treatment - your first 20 minutes you are having heat paks and then a massage before you even get an adjustment.
