This is a great place to get massages. I especially appreciate Brittany and Sara, they are so professional and truly dedicated to what they do. The front desk staff are always kind, welcoming, and responsive, which makes every visit feel smooth and pleasant. I needed to find a new chiropractor and was referred to Dr. Cruz by a friend. It was easy to make an appointment and get in. I met with Dr. Cruz. He was easy to talk to and was able to listen to my concerns. He adjusted my back and also did some stim on my back. This is something I haven't experienced at a chiropractor before, and I think it helped a lot. The appointment provided me with some immediate back relief, and I look forward to going back next week for a follow-up appointment. It is the first office I have been to that did not collect a co-pay at the appt and told me they use a third-party billing company and I would get a bill later. Dr Vance was very thorough. More than just an adjustment. Chronic neck issues and a newer shoulder injury. He helped with both. Laser therapy to help heal my tendon, kinesiology tape to help pull some pressure off my tendon and give me extra relief. And even gave me home exercises to help rehab my shoulder. read more

The massage was competent, but the massage therapist was unpleasant to deal with. He went on and on about fantasy novels, and when I asked (twice) for a quiet massage, he stopped talking briefly and then went right back to droning about things that were of no interest to me. He is very knowledgeable of the anatomy and I enjoy his deep tissue massage where he can work out knots and tightness when I need it which keeps me limber to do all my activities and sports. Holistic Health Clinic and more specifically, Dr. Cruz and LMT Greg, have helped me navigate through pain (muscle spasm, neck/back pain, foot injury, pain because I standing all day on concrete floors...) and help me to consider my choices (big and small) and how they impact my overall well being. I have learned how to stretch better on my own and through massage techniques, breathe through theraputic myofacial and deep tissue massage. I have had my ups and downs with healthy eating but when I'm focused on it - my body and mind are so much better focused as well as energized. I learned this with the help of Dr. Cruz. I wish my insurance company would take "alternative medicine" more seriously and consider it part of the necessary care! But that's not HHC's fault... So I shall end my rant. I want insurance companies to allow us to choose our care and also be proactive rather than so reactive. I would love to be able to come in regularly but it's cost prohibitive to most people, including myself. The office staff here is awesome. I love their level of care for each person. I no longer live in the area so can't typically get in for in person acupuncture appointment any more, but have continued to work with her through telehealth as a ND after multiple failed attempts at finding a local naturopath/acupuncturist. I go there to relax, have my aches and pains addressed and that is exact what Jonathan does for me! I relax he comes back in, is very professional and starts in making me feel better in minutes! Finally, I've found the place I've been looking for! Dr. Cruz really cares, my adjustments are thoughtful and he makes you feel heard, and creates an individualized plan for what your body needs. I have seen Dr. Marcella Box many times. She is the kindest chiropractor and will go out of her way to help you. I have had back issues where I have come into her office barely able to stand up, and she listens carefully to what the problem is and then comes up with treatment plan. This place was my first experience with acupuncture. Sharon was great and dr Young gave me a more natural view on taking care of myself, my issue is with the front. After having acupuncture done twice and seeing the neuropath dr young, I began to think I found a new place I enjoyed to cure my ailments. Another woman I had never seen checked me in and upon checking out told me they had been "under charging me." I explained I was given a breakdown and my insurance called and worse case is only pay 90.00 for the acupuncture and 70 for every visit after. This new person said "not sure who told you that" and I mentioned Leah (who has been great from the start) the other person basically threw her under the bus saying "well she was wrong" then told me she would be happy to work out an arrangement. She completely disregarded the fact that it honestly wasn't my fault as a patient that I was quoted wrong. She handed me some paper and tried explaining that every appointment I have was sent to my deductible which Leah has told me I had no acupuncture coverage anyway so I was being hanged cash rate.when I mentioned that I work insurance billing too she got an attitude like "ok so then as you know you have a deductible" and kept talking. I mentioned again that Leah had called my insurance and given me a breakdown which as pretty detailed. I then told her I would look up my own EOB and she mentioned having the manager call me. Then she said "I'm not very keen on insurances I just get these papers and read them off to patients. It was a complete joke. No sense of accountability or patient care from her. I'm my opinion the amount should be written off and she should have said "moving forward this is the price" doubt I'll be returning. Sad because he doctors were great. Just goes to show it matters how the patients are treated by everyone. Don't let me forget to mention while I was sitting in the waiting room for my appointment she did the same thing to the gentleman before me except his new charges left him with a 210.00 balance! I'm sure she offered him an "arrangement" as well. Revision: got a call from the manager Stacy who was understanding and helpful, again proving the whole office is great. Just hope to not encounter the kind of atmosphere I got yesterday when I left. This place is meant to ease and calm not frustrate. This is the first Chiropractic clinic I have ever visited. Scheduling an appointment is easy and relatively quick to get into see your Chiropractor. I knew that my insurance covered the visit, and when I got there, initially the system to system coverage indicated that it was not covered. The front desk listened to me when I said it was covered and took the extra step to call the company, let them know what they saw initially and what I said and to my avail it was covered. I had a fall and was feeling pain in my upper back and shoulder area as a result. I had a series of treatments with Dr. Andy Cruz, and he used various methods of treatments to get me back to a place of wellness. He is kind and patient, and used a combination of treatment methods including spinal adjustment, a TENS unit (I think that's what its called?), heat wraps to alleviate the pain. His office staff is very accomodating in terms of scheduling, and billing to insurance was flawless. I would recommend Holistic Health Clinic for specific injuries, but also for on-going wellness visits if you've got a particular concern or want to engage with caretakers on a preventative level. read more

Sharon's acupuncture is marvelous and the greeting staff, nice. However the reason this isn't a 5 star is because their billing department is really a mess. One year later I still receive a bill as a Final Notice. The billing dept used wrong codes repeatedly after being told what codes to use. It went back and forth so long that the time for reimbursement expired. I wanted Sharon to get paid so I kept calling my insurance company to try to make sure. But because the billing dept kept doing things wrong I finally had to just let it play out. I changed medicare insurance and had to find another acupuncturist. I paid my co-pay for all ten visits in one check. And yet - I get a bill for who knows what? It looks like what they're trying to do is make me responsible for portions of the unpaid bill, rather just for my copay. That is against the law. Once they agree to be a provider they are obligated to go by medicare terms, which means I am only responsible for my co-pay. read more
