I had been looking online at dress styles I was interested in and had emailed the company to see if they had one in stock. Kim, the owner, emailed me back letting me know they didn't carry that designer but they had very similar dresses in the shop. Using their online scheduling system, I scheduled my first bridal appointment. The boutique has ample parking and was pretty easy to find. Upon entering, I was greeted by Jenn who helped get an understanding of what dress style I was interested in. I was told to pick a handful of dresses and styles that I wanted to try on and she grabbed each one and placed them in a dressing room for me. I had the entire boutique to myself and had such an amazing one on one experience! She helped me get into each dress and we narrowed it down to two dresses. A big reason why I decided to come here was because i read reviews for other boutiques that try to pressure the customer into buying something and Sparks Bridal was different. I never once felt pressured to buy anything. They understood that I was just looking to see what my options were and to get a feel for what my style was. I was also able and encouraged to take photos of myself in the dresses to refer back on (there are other shops that don't allow photos) I was able to schedule another appointment and bring other family members to help make a decision Kim and Jenn were incredibly helpful with this process! & pickup was an absolute breeze! They supplied me with the business card of an alteration company they use and i'll be giving her a call in a few months! Highly recommend!

We were able to make appointments at convenient times. I thought the price of a tux rental would be outrageous but it was actually less costly than buying my sons a pair of appropriate dress slacks and a shirt for the occasion, especially considering that they'd probably just outgrow those before wearing them again. Great service, great selection, and great price! My only regret is that I irresponsibly took months to write this review. The shop owner deserved better for all that she did for us! I found Helene's online after searching for designers that I liked and made an appointment in advance with Anna. The day of, there was a mix-up between my appointment and a bride who had come in and they apologized profusely again and again for it. (Apparently people think brides are always thisclose to acting like Sigourney Weaver in Ghostbusters after she's taken over by Zuul). No biggie - my mother-in law and I waited for while until they finished up. I told Anna my budget, showed her the pictures she asked me to bring and she started pulling dresses out. I must have tried on at least a dozen dresses and found 2 that I liked, 1 that I loved. She helped me into each dress and took the time to pull, pinch and zip everything so that it fit as best it could. She pulled one or two dresses over my price point (but very slightly over) and told me before I tried any of them on that they were over my budget, but did I still want to try them. I appreciated this a lot because some salons a) don't ask your budget and b) will pull a dress out that is beautiful on you, until you see that the price tag is 3x what you want to pay. The salon is somewhat on the smaller side, though the room where you try on the dresses is bigger - if you are the only one in there at the time. I was able to go on a Tuesday morning and we had the place to ourselves. The dresses are lovely and the service was great, but the one thing that irks me about Helene's is that they don't allow you to take pictures of you in the dress. My mom/sister/50% of my bridesmaids live out of state and I wanted to be able to text them photos of the dresses. It might not be a huge deal for most people, but to me it was somewhat of a deal breaker. (Also, I don't get why some stores don't allow this. I will use my Nancy Drew slueth-ing skills when your back is turned to figure out the dress designer + price tag and then Google it. Age of the Internet, homies.) Overall, I enjoyed my experience there (sans the picture thing) and really appreciated the customer service and quality of dresses at Helene's. Definitely worth a visit on your dress tour!

I had to go up there, and then kept getting mixed answers as to why the dresses were not in. Fast forward, dresses came in a week before the wedding, you have to pay CASH for the dress, if there is a balance, before they will do alterations, which are only done Monday and Tuesday, which was not told to us. My dress did not fit, even though she took my measurements, like didn't even zip up any. She charged me $150 extra to make it bigger although that was definitely her fault. Additionally, there were mixed prices regarding steaming some paid nothing, others paid $25, etc.

Then she told me not to worry because "the wedding isn't until September." Wrong again -- the wedding was August 1st. After reading other online reviews, I realized this seems to be a pattern. Calls went unanswered and messages were ignored, so I had to start contacting the store weekly just to get updates. I used different phone numbers, so my call would be answered, but only more lies. When my dress finally arrived at the end of May, Ana's daughter emailed me saying I was "not welcome" in the store and they would simply mail the dress to me. I had no recourse when I said please don't put it in the mail because it had already been done. My $700 Mon Cheri Montage dress arrived shoved into an Amazon box. After all the measuring Ana did, the dress came several sizes too big. It honestly felt like they expected me to spend even more money on expensive alterations at their shop. This entire experience was stressful, unprofessional, and disappointing. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

She was very helpful in explaining the layout of the store, and gave me honest feedback about the dresses I tried on. They have a cute little fitting room with plenty of mirrors and a platform. Currently, there is also a room dedicated to mother of the bride and bridesmaid dresses, but according to Deb, they are clearing out that inventory and will soon be 100% bridal. All they offered was excuses and took zero accountability. Check out the lower reviews on Google for the dismissive tone. As long as you have no hiccups you might be fine, but this store will do nothing to help or even communicate if things go wrong. I was essentially told that I'll be fine because my alterations would be minimal. Spoiler alert- I will not be able to wear my dress for my wedding in two weeks. Go to a shop with reviews about management that cares. The dress selection and attention during the initial appointment doesn't matter if you can't wear your gown in the end and makes the weeks leading up to your wedding more stressful.
