I went dress shopping in July 2020 during the pandemic. I was able to schedule an appointment for myself and 1 person. I loved having the shoppe to ourselves. The ladies were amazing. So helpful. After trying on about 3 dresses, one of the lovely ladies came over to me "I have the best dress for you!!!" She came back with the dress I bought! It was perfect! They were so accommodating with allowing me to facetime mother in law the next time I went in. They also went above and beyond by allowing me to keep my dress there, after having to change my wedding date from 3/27/21 to 4/9/22. I highly recommend this wedding shoppe! read more

The ladies at the Bridal Shoppe are outstanding! This was the first place that I visited when starting the hunt for my dress. They had the designer and style that I was looking for but after trying it on, it simply wasn't for me. I had explained the type of dress that I was looking for and they grabbed a few dresses that fit the description. The first dress that I tried on was the dress that I fell in love with. Even though I had gone to several other bridal shops and tried on other dresses, I could not get this dress off of my mind. The customer service is amazing, they made me feel like I was their only customer, giving me as much time to try on my dress and address any of my questions and concerns. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience here. I was so excited to try on wedding dresses for the first time and they were so nice when I was scheduling the appointment so I was looking forward to coming here. The shop was a lot smaller than I expected; they had three chairs out in the front but there was already a bride and her family trying stuff on. I thought that was odd since it was 11:15 and I had an 11:30 appointment and they had just opened at 11. They gave me four sticky notes to put on dresses that I liked. As soon as I started looking through the selection I was really disappointed. There was really nothing there that appealed to me. I picked four dresses and then we waited and waited. Finally a half hour after my appointment start time someone came over to help us. She apologized for the wait and said it was like a doctors office and on Saturday they get a lot of walk-ins. But to me you shouldn't take a walk-in if it is going to push someone's appointment back a half hour. Once I started trying on dresses we were out of there in twenty minutes. They switched the woman who was helping me without telling me so I had no idea what to do, called me the wrong name multiple times, and really were just not a big help. I like tulle dresses and I only saw one there. I asked the woman helping me if they had anymore tulle dresses because maybe I missed one on the rack and her response back to me was, "did you look on the rack?" I did look and I didn't see any, since you see these dresses everyday I thought you may know of one that I missed. I know a lot of other brides have had a much better experience here, that was just not me. read more

Pros: -My now sister-in-law found the dress of her dreams here and looked stunning in it. -The shop offered to give us a discount on our bridesmaid dresses if we ordered through them versus through the designer's store. Cons: -The customer service is lacking. When picking up my dress, another bride who arrived just before us and my mother and I waited at least 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged our existence. They have a "front desk" set up, but no one employed to sit at it. The bride was also picking up and was disgusted by the obscene amount of wait time to be assisted. Based on my experience I know that when my big day comes I'll skip out on this shop. read more

The dresses were beautiful but I don't recommend coming here if you are on the heavier side, and if you are and have to give your measurements over the phone, definitely record the conversation because you will likely be discriminated against. "[The bride] didn't tell us there was an overweight bridesmaid!" I'm a pretty normal weight and average height but the woman helping me was so rude about my bust size for a bridesmaid' dress I was humiliated and totally devastated. Amongst other awful jabs, she suggested I drop out of the wedding because I was too big to be in it (usual dress size 8-10, jeans size 6) and it wouldn't be fair to the bride. She did the math and calmly told me there was still time for my friend to replace me. Just what you want to hear from a place like this! Worst shopping experience of my life. read more

My friend (the bride) and I walked in just to browse after having already experienced 4 other shops in the nearby area. Donna was so nice and helpful without being pushy! We were lucky enough to find the dress right away (we tried on 6-10 dresses or so at each of the other places) and we purchased the dress on the spot it was beautiful and we could not be happier! I have nothing but great things to say about this place! I've used them for bridesmaids dresses a few times, and they always go above and beyond. When I had to order mine over the phone, Donna was so helpful with really making sure we had the right size and measurements. This year, they were more than accommodating when I said I could only come in once before alterations due to working on Nantucket for the summer. The entire fitting was a great process- she was so sweet and we chatted the entire time like old friends- even leaving with a hug and a kiss on the cheek at the end. Honestly, you can't ask for better personalized service. Prices are completely reasonable as well. They truly care about their customers and it shows. I'm a couple of years late for this overdue review. I used to go here for prom dresses. I loved that they would register the gowns so you wouldn't have the same dress as someone else at your prom. When I started planning my wedding I went here to try on dresses and ended up purchasing my wedding gown from here. The women were SO helpful and kind. I wanted to add some black into my dress and they were full of ideas and suggestions. I ended up getting a black lace fabric I liked and they were able to add it into my dress! So I'm very surprised that this place has good reviews. I have probably been to every dress shop in the Rhode Island/Fall River area and I hit up this shop on my way out because of all the amazing reviews and some luck with other shops. My budget price for a wedding gown I would say is pretty fair and basic for the area so it's not like I'm looking for a simple $99 gown. My cousin, mother aunt, sister, and myself all went to this shop not fairly impressed for a few reasons: 1- it's a small shop which would be fine because honestly I feel some of the best things you find are in quaint boutiques, how ever if no one is even greeting you when you walk in that's a problem! We waited a good 10 minutes standing there while the receptionist didn't acknowledge us-mind you it's an open boutique so everyone there including the employees working can see you enter. 2- When we finally did get greeted one woman said she had exactly what I was looking for in the back and would be right out with it- she never came to speak with me again so that's very aggravating as I'm sure any bride in search for the perfect dress would understand especially if they have a very good idea including a picture of what they want. 3- Another woman who had finally attended to us who was actually very nice but not knowledgeable on what the inventory was when I told her what it was I was looking for and what designers they carry- her response was "I'm only here one day a week do I really don't know" well darling perhaps you could ask or find someone who does?! Right when we walked into this place they all gave us the cold shoulder and just stared like I'm sorry have you never seen a young bride before or a party of 5 Come to dress shop? Wasn't sure what their deal was but definitely wasn't worth our time -rude staff -seldom inventory -prices were as seen everywhere else So do yourself a favor and hit this place on your very last stop of places if you're on the lookout for anything different from every other bridal shop in the 70 mile radius of this place. read more

This was one of the nicest dress shopping experiences I had while searching for my wedding dress! The stylist I worked with was very warm and friendly, and listened well to what I wanted and what I said about the dresses. The shop is clean and the dress trial room is well designed with mirrors, a chair, and a side table with all the things you might need when trying on a dress. The store isn't huge, but the dresses are well cultivated and beautiful. I didn't end up finding my dress here, but I wish I had because I would have loved to give them my business. I originally bought my wedding dress at a chain retailer and only a few months before the wedding realized it was not the one. Yikes! A bride's nightmare! Everyone here was so helpful and willing to work with me. They made the process really easy and now I can say I'm really looking forward to getting my dress. I have a lot of confidence in that it will be perfect. I highly recommend starting your search here. They are a smaller boutique but they do have some budget friendly finds. So this review is a few months late but I just went for my first fitting and I felt like I need to write them a review--This place is great. I found them when I was looking for my wedding dress and they had great reviews--I now know why. I had an appointment with Donna who is amazing. She always asked me if I was comfortable and made me feel so special. She really listened to the things I wanted and what I didn't and helped point me in the right direction. I ordered my bridesmaid dresses through them as well (they offer a discount if you get your bridal dress there) and any time any of my bridesmaids called they would always tell me how nice the employees at the bridal shoppe were. Only one of my bridesmaids lives in state so it was nice to know that my girls were being taken care of by such amazing staff. I just had my first fitting with Marge and she was so nice. I loved my experience here! I was a little hesitant at first, because it looked a little small, however the workers there are very professional and do everything they can in order to make you happy. I'm only 20 years old... Was 19 when I picked out my dress, and was having troubles with other salons because they didn't take me seriously do to my age. However they didn't care that o was a young bride here. All they cared about was making sure I found the dress of my dreams! Their alterations department is also flawless! Eugenia (I probably spelled her name wrong) is absolutely incredible! She can alter a dress any way you want, and can even alter your dress to create a unique and one of a kind dress! I love this place so much! I felt like royalty here and would recommend any bride looking for a designer but one of a kind dress to come here!!! My daughter and I have dreamed about her wedding day and trying on wedding gowns for years and together we would watch "Say Yes To The Dress" dreaming of her one day Kleinfeld experience. She called and made an appointment. She was so excited, saying how nice they were on the phone... So, the big day came and it was time to start our search for the perfect dress. I have to admit, when we first pulled into the parking lot of this little shop, I was a little skeptical. Having that Kleinfeld experience in mind, this store was not grand, nor fancy. But my daughter kept telling me to keep an open mind. The dress selection was not huge, but the dresses they do have are gorgeous. I settled down and decided to enjoy this once in a lifetime moment with my daughter. She came out of the fitting room for the 3rd time and the dress she was in was absolutely stunning. It was her dress. Then, I decided to look at the price tag (didn't think to do that before) I couldn't believe it, it was so reasonably priced...no where near the absurd prices you see on TV. And it was a designer, couture gown. The lady helping my daughter was amazing. She gave us her undivided attention, and was so helpful and nice. Fast forward several months the gown finally came in. It was more beautiful than we remembered. The seamstress at the store was exceptional as well. She created a custom bustle for the gown that is absolutely beautiful!! This store went above and beyond our expectations of a bridal shop in every way. Absolutely delightful. If we had to do it all over again we would have ordered the bridesmaids dresses from this shop as well. My daughter has a delightful experience for her once in a lifetime moment. I wasn't specific about what designer I wanted, but I had a vision of what I would wear. Marge helped pick out dresses when I told her what I was looking for. She could tell what I like/would not like. I tried on 8 dresses total. The last one I picked out was the one I end up getting, and only needs to be slightly tailored! Marge held it for me. I bought a Maggie Sottero dress from this shop. I came in with the dress of my dreams in mind and they made it all happen. We had to order it, which I was nervous about at first but I was reassured that it would make it when they promised it would, and it came in even earlier than that! These women know what they are doing. They are the most kind people, and truly care about their customers. By far the best, most helpful, most efficient place I've been in since I began planning our wedding. The awards and recognition that this shop has gotten are well deserved. Went there with my sister to look for a wedding dress. The lady who "supposely" was helping us was rude & not attentive. My sis liked the dress on the maniquon, lady said "oh it's too heavy, you won't like it". She left us to help another party of bridesmaids with alterations, who already had someone helping them. She picked a dress, asked the lady to see if she could put it on hold so she can think about it, the lady was rude & said the dress will not be available soon. So we left. My sister ended up buying her dress from Alexandria's (great customer service) a couple of days later, which she paid way more for. I DO NOT recommend this place, total waste of time! I can not say enough about this bridal shop. I went to five other places and found dresses I liked but did not love. I found bridal shoppe via google search and wanted to try it. I was a little worried when I pulled up but please go in. Donna took care of me and I can't not thank her enough. I was never pressured and she told me the truth. They really want you to just have a fun experience. There prices are amazing as well. Everyone needs to check this bridal shop out. Forget the big bridal shops and shop small. They don't have a big selection but the dresses they have are amazing. I would never buy one thing from this place. The owner is so rude she actually told me that I needed to look at plus size dresses because I didn't fit into her sample size dress. First off I'm a size 6!! (Def dont think that qualifies for plus size) And her sample dress was made for a size 2!
