Customer service stops as soon as you purchase the dress. I was never given an update unless I asked. I did not even receive a shipping estimate until after my dress should have been delivered. It was about a month late and once it was delivered (with less than two months before my wedding) the earliest pickup window on the website was 2 weeks later, despite offering new bride appointments the very next day. All they offered was excuses and took zero accountability. Check out the lower reviews on Google for the dismissive tone. As long as you have no hiccups you might be fine, but this store will do nothing to help or even communicate if things go wrong. I was essentially told that I'll be fine because my alterations would be minimal. Spoiler alert- I will not be able to wear my dress for my wedding in two weeks. Go to a shop with reviews about management that cares. The dress selection and attention during the initial appointment doesn't matter if you can't wear your gown in the end and makes the weeks leading up to your wedding more stressful. And no- it was not within "outlined expectations", you said it would ship within 2-3 months, the fact that the acceptable industry timelines per your FAQs, does not change that you lied to make a sale... read more

This is a beautiful shop in downtown Providence and they have gorgeous dress options from Saint, Rue de Seine, and more designers! They especially have unique boho dresses and sleek classic styles that are so flattering. Lots of sample sizes so you can actually see how the dresses would look more or less. Stylist Kerrie is a great communicator and made me feed super comfortable in different styles. All the staff are super friendly, patient, and really listen to what you're looking for. read more

Went here to try on one dress I found online and ended up trying on many more thanks to Katie! She is so personable, professional and knows exactly what you are looking for! My mother and I both had such a wonderful experience here and couldn't stop talking about it. Not only was she so kind and funny she really took the time to know the vibe of your wedding and what you felt comfortable or uncomfortable in. The dresses were all gorgeous and in great condition. I cannot begin to say enough positive things about Lovely Bride Providence. Prior to my appointment, I tried on dresses at another bridal boutique in Boston, and, while the experience there wasn't awful, there were hardly any sample dresses that I could fit into, which made it really hard to visualize how the dress would actually look on me. At Lovely Bride Providence, almost, if not all of the dresses I chose to try on I was able to get into with minimal effort. The atmosphere was welcoming, calming and private, as I was the only appointment during that time, which meant their attention was solely on me the entire time. To save the best for last: my stylists Angela, Kerrie and Jean were incredibly attentive, kind, and really listened to my likes and wants brought me dresses that I actually wanted to try on. They each had such a calming, grounding presence and emphasized how they were there to help me pick the dress that I felt the most beautiful in. Angela, the manager, was so kind, understanding and flexible and able to work with me around some of my indecisiveness. She's also incredibly knowledgeable of the wedding business and a great resource! Angela and her team were wonderful to work with. I had been to many other stores and had not found the dress I wanted. They really listened to what I was looking for and were extremely helpful and positive. As a plus size bride it was incredible to be able to try on dresses that actually fit me instead of having to imagine how they might fit or be relegated to only a couple of styles. I went to lovely bride on a whim after I saw some styles I liked on TikTok. I ended up saying yes to the dress!! First, the store itself is so pretty and they have private sections for you to try on dresses with a couch for your crew. My stylist was Kerrie and she was amazing! She was honest about how I looked and there was no pressure at all to buy anything. She also was respectful of only showing me dresses within by budget. I ran over my appointment time so Angela (the manager) helped me finish the transaction and got my measurements. They also have this adorable sign to take a picture with if you end up saying yes to the dress.
