Repair Shop. I stopped in the place while getting as because I needed to get my car fixed. I could not have been more pleased with this repair shop. The shop labor rates are extremely fair and straight forward. Never once did I feel I was getting the hard sell or getting taken advantage of. He always puts customer's interest first, and he wants all his customers to save money. I've never been asking to pay cash, and I can pay whatever I want to. Really use these guys at your own risk. So many things, where to start first of all we told him that we needed to get to work so we made an appointment to meet the manager at 8 a.m. arrived at 7:50 waited, waited, talked to the people in the retail part they called and told the manager would arrive in a few minutes. Waited, still no rival they called again still no rival call the third time I told you be there in a few minutes it's now 8:20 we have to be at work at 8:30. He still hasn't arrived so I write up the order please replace belts as specified on telephone conversation please save all belts written on invoice, did it myself. Now when we spoken to him on the phone I've been quoted 1 hour labor and the price of the belts we were looking at 2 belts, so this worked out to $90 for the labor and he quoted $69 each belt now I already checked belts and the most expensive price you can find was $29 each so I expect the bill right in the vicinity of $150 Arrived to pick up the car I was asked for $212! I said hey, what's going on 1 hours labor Plus the belts when questioned on how many belts been replaced was told two. I asked for the old belts and was told that they did not keep the old parts and that no one asked for them. I requested them be returned I pointed out that I had wrtten the invoice because no one ever showed up to do it and the invoice shows save belts because the manager had never arrived, off he goes and comes back with one not two belts, now telling me that they had replaced only one (the other reported as new) so if it you quoted me $149 for two belts and you one replaced o e the price should be $119 so why are you charging me $219 and being really evasive about how many belts you replace? Nowhe wants to cbarge me the $149 quoted. I point out that was for 2 belts not one. You only replace one so the price should be hundred dollars for labor and $29 for the belt. Now he says we'll I'll make you a special deal, I want to keep your your business so I'll do it for a hundred and nineteen (the price it should have been in the first place.) Oh by the way you need a $2000 rack and pinion job! ok we pick up the car next day the belts are squeaking. The belts not present properly tensioned. The next day we bring it back, we pick it up again, drove it for a day or two and belts are not squeaking but now they're making funny noises, they've been tensioed too tightly . Over tension in the belt will destroy your ball bearings and sure enough now we have bearing noises on I think the alternator which is brand new so we end up taking it back to her old mechanic have them retension it so what should have been an hour job turned into four days having to pay a new mechanic to redo it again, being over charged twice have an argue about the original price in the price of the belts having to write our own invoice and then being told that the invoice didn't request the old belt back if I hadn't done that we would have been charged considerably more than we should have. We have our regular mechanic check the rack and pinion and there is nothing wrong with it. yeah, $2000 rack and pinion my foot! I cannot tell you how much I would recommend against going to this place as some of the previous reviews and pointed out. Really save your time and money, don't get your car ruined and avoid being latantly over charged, go somewhere else.... my car is now worse than when I brought it in. I was very impressed with the service, price, and also that they threw in some freebees including (fixing the bumper, and picking me up). I feel it is a trust worthy shop that works well to make sure the customer has a good running car. I even got some free advice on which "gas" I should be using that would help my car run smoothly and prevent it from needing repairs! never-ever take your car to this place ever!!! this place is horrible when it comes to getting your diagnostics and repairs done!!! these guys are straight up guessing and wanting to rip you off when it comes to diagnosis and repairs!!!! be aware, david will give you a price you cannot refuse but you will regret it later as i did!!! took my car in for diagnoses for a fuel leak, david the manager for the auto-repair shop said he would take care of it gave me an estimate to work with. later called me that his master mechanic henry said the problem is the fuel injectors. got the injectors and he replaced the parts, told me my car was ready. once i got to his shop he wouldn't let me test drive the car to make sure the fuel leak was gone, rather asked me to pay for the repairs first before i could test drive, even after asking him to come along for the test-drive. finally got him to give me a test drive after wasting 15-20min of my time! told him i could still smell fuel in the engine compartment as well as in the cockpit. he said drive it around for a week, it should go away. drove it for a day, unsatisfied with the repairs, took the car back next day. he said he would take a look at it again and sure enough he called me back later telling me that there is a big fuel line hose leaking in the back of the car. upon my questioning for the diagnosis he agreed that his master mechanic henry had misdiagnosed the car and he will perform the repairs for free just going to charge me for the part!! next day calls me back with the price for the part, tells me the part is $150 and it is only available through the dealer, and he is not charging me anything extra just for the part itself. i went ahead and called the dealer the part and it was actually less than $100. got the part myself and gave it to him. after pleading to him several times how inconvenient it is to go to work, 4days later david call to tell me the car is ready, and come pick it up. went to go pick up the car, david bills me for close to $50 for the repairs (after giving me his word that he would take care of the misdiagnosis)!! his reasoning for charging me close to $50 was the fact that i had not ordered the parts through him (which would basically encompass an extra $50 of cost). after talking to him, again for several minutes, he first refused to give me the car and later told me that i erased everything and i'm not charging you anything and here is your car keys. after asking him for a paperwork to show that my balance is zero, he says that i'm busy right now just take your car. a few minutes later he calls the police on me!!! i ended up having to pay ~$50 to avoid any issues with the law!! in summary: the manager is a liar and will do anything to get your money!!! be aware when you take your car here!!! the mechanics here are very unprofessional here!! i went through it and would hate to see anyone else go through the same hassle!! i would give this place zero stars if i could!!! read more

David (the mechanic/manager) is great - he is honest, does what he says he is going to do, and works diligently to deliver great customer service. I have been taking my car to him for the last year or so, and I have had confidence in his work every time. Recently, his work was above and beyond the usual - I had a tire that wasn't holding air, and he said he'd take care of it. Not only did he diagnose the problem with that tire, but he went to the trouble of looking at ALL my tires, two of which had nails so they needed patching. The job ballooned into a much bigger job than expected, which required him to work very hard to complete the job by the time I needed my car/before closing. Wonderful service. One of the most trustworthy and knowledgable mechanics I ever met. I have been bringing my Mitsubishi Mirage for oil changes, tire rotations, and general check-ups to David for almost two years and I have always been impressed by his knowledge, professionalism, and fairness. One time I brought in my car because I noticed that my car was producing a strange noise. I asked David to inspect it and he did not identify anything wrong with it but recommended I get an oil change to reduce the noise. He assured me that with older cars (mine is a 2002) you eventually just start to hear their wear and tear and that it wasn't anything that I should be alarmed with. I appreciated that he didn't take advantage of my non-knowledge of cars and he provided me with a quick oil change. My car has been running smootly since so it really was just a matter of maitaining the oil levels and getting a tune-up.
