This person call Manuel just changed my oil on a honda accord 2009 and last time he charged me 45$. Well i had mad a appointment at 3 pm to do my oil change and he had like 2 kids who looked younger than 17 years old and they ask me for my keys to move the car position. Well they took about 1 hr changing my oil by the way every-time i change my oil i always see they get new containers of oil liters . They seem to get oil from a big container of oil which i don't know if its used oil or new oil. The kid told me 50$ firsf and then he told me to wait for him. The kids didn't even had change that i alert of oil manually. He came and he told me 80$ for oil change which i only had 70$ and he accept 70$ because i didn't had more money. He won't let you repair anything unnecessary. He consider the car model and the value while he calculate about the cost eg (Is it worth to repair ) Last year my car fail smoke check and I went to other 3 places (near to my home)to fix it.They all tell me that my car need to buy new --- and will cost $4000 or $5000 estimates . Wah is a really nice guy. My dad used to work on cars quite often but can't anymore since he's gotten older. He lets my dad in his shop to watch what he does and is always willing to answer my Dad's questions. He is very trustworthy and is not trying to steal your money! He always breaks down the cost for us to show us exactly how much the parts were and the cost of his labor. He helped me with my very first car in high school (almost 15 years ago now) and I still bring him any car issues I have - there is never a problem he can't fix. First, I am stating that I am family relative to the owner here. Now getting that out of the way, I must say that I should have come to him sooner. I have two cars, lexus RX350 and Sienna van 2001. Lexus dealers were going to charge $200+ for simple oil change, he did it in less than half of what they were charging, with full synthetic oil and did extras like tire pressure, adding brake oil, windshield cleaner, etc. For the van, also went to him for a simple oil change. He did it within minutes and I chit chat what other services he can do. He basically can do EVERYTHING car-related: AC, transmission flush, brakes, timing belt, anything! The quality is unlike any other shops. I personally see him put oils from bottles, unlike those big barrels from dealers. He also takes some time visually inspect the in and out to see if anything else is leaking. The lady, Sandy, helps him with the minor stuff like filling fluids and they are an awesome team. Price, I don't think you can find anything better with the dealers. I mean, of course you should always get a second/third opinion about a work, but wouldn't you gladly pay for something that is done right by a certified mechanic? He is a honest mechanic you can trust, without worrying about things other mechanics might tell you to change. He will change if necessary, if not, he will let you know. For example, Firestone quoted me the AIC valve/sensor and the idle control valve change about $800+. He looked at it, and found out one of the sensor doesn't even need change. But if doing it all, about $600. Just talk to him while you wait, you will find out he is very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you Mr Chu, and I will surely to spread the words as I personally feel everyone should deserve a trustworthy mechanic like you.
