I contacted their location manager Laura and instead of apologizing for their behavior basically called my employee a liar. good customer service is measured by your customers not by the employees. what counts is what kind of service your customers think you are providing. They also have a $10 minimum fee and by visa and mastercard there is no minimum. you should be able to purchase an item for less than that and our purchase should not be denied because we don't meet the $10 minimum. this is an agreement that as a merchant you have. If a supply company as large as Ferguson Plumbing does not stand behind the products they sell I don't trust the quality of any thing they sell. We scheduled a few days later, and Marlon was here on time, and assessed the issue almost immediately. The garage door opener is working, perfect, and he did maintenance on the door itself as well. The door would not stay up on its own when manually opened, but he took care of that, and replaced the rubber seal at the bottom of the door, as well as adjusted all the hinges and pulleys. He was actually just in my neighborhood looking for a different address, but in the process of helping him find his way, I mentioned how frustrated I was with my brand-new, noisy garage door. While the job was by far the least costly during the refurbishment, and also the lowest bid I received from garage door installation companies, it was essential for security and functionality. The installation wasn't seamless due to some manufacturer quality-control issues, but Joe was on top of the problem and had the components replaced by the manufacturer. Throughout the process, he diligently oversaw all installations. Even at the end, when I was willing to accept the flawed panel (a high bar, as I can be pretty demanding), Joe wanted it perfect. He went ahead, had the manufacturer replace the panel in question, and had his crew install the new panel, all on his own. I am pleased to give such a high rating based on my experience with Joe's Doors. It is well-deserved.
