Kelly is truly the reason our wedding was so amazing. She is not only an amazing person that we can now call a great friend, but so incredible at her job. She has a PREMIER list of vendors that she can suggest at the drop of a hat, but will never push you to use certain vendors - she always lets you make your own, unbiased decision as to the vendors you want to use, but is willing to give you pros and cons or suggestions whenever you ask. Kelly works hard to do all of the "behind the scenes" work, while checking in, giving deadlines, and providing budget updates frequently. Speaking of budget.. she is very honest and realistic when helping to set up your budget breakdown (once you've given her an overall budget). This just highlights how well she knows the industry and how well she works to understand, up front, the vision her clients have. She also did a great job of spreading out the decisions (and expenses) over the duration of the planning period, so we never felt burdened or overwhelmed by the payments or the number of decisions that had to be made. We purchased the wedding day-of coordination package, but Kelly was nice enough to still give us a few vendor recommendations. As a result of her connections, we were able to save money on chairs, a DJ and lighting. Kelly was a total life-saver on the day of our wedding. We had some wedding events in the morning about an hour away from our reception site, but Kelly was there to get all of the vendors organized and on the same page. Kelly has a very calming effect. She also handled two mini-emergencies...1) I forgot to have the makeup artist cover my tan lines. Update: 3.5 stars I am always happy to offer advice to my newly engaged friends. One of which is to hire a wedding planner- Eventology Weddings specifically. But recently, one of my friends who is looking for a full wedding planning package came back to me saying that Eventology has been taking forever to respond. Even just trying to get an appointment or info took weeks, which really does not inspire confidence in a potential client who must entrust so much to their wedding planner. I am so disappointed and embarassed that I spoke so highly of them and they completely did not deliver. I'm not sure if because business is booming or what, but not responding to emails in a timely manner is really unacceptable. I really have to get this off my chest, because it was a huge glaring error during my wedding ceremony which will stay in my memory forever. Stephanie was in charge of my ceremony music and she messed up, big time. She didn't play the music that was supposed to be played during the candle lighting, and consequently our exit music was to the wrong song, not to mention, about 15 seconds too late. We awkwardly stood in front of 200+ people waiting for the music to come on, and when it never came, we just started walking out without music. It wasn't until we were more than halfway down the aisle, the music finally came on, but the wrong song. A lot of thought was put into the music selection (a really sentimental song between my husband and I) and just like that, the moment was ruined. All I could think about while I was exiting was, "Wow I'm married, hooray! WHERE THE F is the music?" We had the full service package and were disappointed. Kelly was over an hour and a half late to several meetings without apology. She neglected to notify the florist of final bridal party count so one of the groomsmen did not have a boutiniere and when the matron of honor called Kelly from the church to ask where the flowers were, Kelly was very abrupt and rude. Months before the wedding Kelly asked about transportation and we requested a car for the bride and groom from the church to reception and reception to the hotel; again the week before the wedding we went over it. She neglected to arrange ANY transportation! There wasn't a car for the bride and groom from the church to reception or reception to hotel. There weren't cars for the family after reception that had been requested. Not only did she again not apologize, she had the audacity to blame it on the bride. One word... AMAZING!!! Not only did Kelly go above and beyond in helping plan, coordinate, and execute our wedding... but over one year later when I contacted her because we were having an issue finding our MIA photographer to receive our fully paid for wedding album... Kelly once again swept in and helped facilitate us getting a hold of our photographer and finally receive our album. Like I said... AMAZING!!!! read more

Wow! Kelly is amazing. What else can I say? Although she usually sticks to wedding planning, she crossed over this past weekend to first birthday party planning! One word: FABULOUS. She pays such an amazing attention to detail. The guests (and we) were just in awe. My daughter, Ava, had a blast! It was beautiful and sweet, just like Ava! :) I found Kelly to be very easy to work with, prompt, and full of fresh, innovative ideas! Day of, it showed! And her vendors were equally as impressive! Between the gorgeous flowers, yummy desserts, adorable smash cake, and amazing photographers, the Birthday was one that will not soon be forgotten. Question is... how can we possibly top this amazing first Birthday?? Ha! At least we will always have the beautiful memories and pictures... :) Thanks Kelly! You rock!
